September 7, 2006: "I'm Totally Flabbergasted"
So I've made it pretty clear all season that I'm not a fan of Boogie and his behavior. I haven't really been a big Erika supporter, either (though I do admire her manipulation of the situation this week), so I'm sort of unimpressed with the final two. That said (and I can't believe I'm typing this) I can't see Erika winning Big Brother: All-Stars. I'm not talking about who in the jury would vote for her or anything, I'm referring to the fact that this is All-Stars and that that term should really apply to someone more memorable than Erika.
But Boogie's comments tonight were totally obnoxious and somewhat appalling:
— "I'm just glad that America knows that Erika is in fact a ho. I've used that girl up for all I need. I've gotten myself in a position to win this game, and that's all she was good for."
— "I give her credit for being a backstabbing bitch."
Oh, and his hair during the flying-car competition... what the heck? Did he take hairstyling tips from Jase?
So what are Erika and Mike going to do in the house the next few days? Wait, don't answer that. After Erika's comment, "I hate the fact that I'm still attracted to him because I hate him so much," I doubt that she'll be turning him away.
We got to see Will's entrance to the sequester house. Only Chicken George seemed surprised, but Will took it well: "I'll give credit where credit is due: They spanked my ass, both cheeks, and it still hurts."
Finally, there's Janelle. I can't believe that after winning nine competitions she couldn't take home this one, too. That HOH comp should have been hers. I guess I'll try to text-message to give her the jury prize.
So who's going to win? I think the votes will probably go to Boogie, but it will probably be close.
I'd love to hear what you all think, and since I can't imagine there are really any spoilers aside from the fact that Mike and Erika are talking or making out, I say we can probably all just play nice and post together about this penultimate episode.

Uh, I knew when Janelle lost the 2nd challenge that Erika would never pull out a win. So, all I really have to say is...Boo. Boo to it all.

So Janelle knew that she was out the door and couldn't hide the disappointment on her face.
Feel sorry for her but she wised up too late. Maybe she'll get the jury prize.
I can see that also going to Chicken George.
Not a fan of Erica or Boogie's so really don't care who wins - well, take that back, hope Erica wins since Mike is Mike.

Janelle was the best Big Brother player ever, but was unfortunately taken down by that gross, mean-spirited, foul-mouthed, backstabbing, chauvinistic piece of crap called Booger. I could live with her losing, but not to that poor imitation of a human being. No way should he be rewarded for that kind of behavior.
Tonight was the worst night in Big Brother history. However, Tuesday night could tie for that title. Let’s hope America bestows upon Janelle that $25,000 prize. No one deserves it more.

yipee!!!! not for that...but im the second person to post.
anyway im not happy that our janey is not in the final 2. both mike and erika doesnt deserves to win. mike rode on the back of will's coattails and erika....well erika basically did nothing. just floated along and sniffed everybody's butt.
i still say that janey is a winner, cause she has won more hoh's and pov's than anybody else. she has set a standard for how to play this game. she makes me wanna tryout for big brother.
and as for who i am routing for to win???? i really dont care anymore.

I can't decide whether I'm watching the finale or not. It's such a gyp after spending so much time with the houseguests this summer, but I've done it before.
I refused to watch the Allison/Jun finale, because that was such a negative season, and they were both just horrible examples of women. And, I didn't watch last season, because I truly didn't care after only the Nerd Herd was left. In fact, I don't think I even know who won to this day!
It's not even necessary to see who wins the booby prize. Janelle ALWAYS wins America's Vote, so there's that. Like Rupert before her, there will be zero drama with that announcement. And, I certainly hope they have it all on prompter, or Julie might give the money to Jase!
I found it interesting that Janelle said her biggest mistake was putting Marcellus up. I think/hope he appreciates that. And, I could have kicked James for saying that she was trying to impress the jury with her shout out to Howie and Marcellus. I don't think that's true.
I always find myself wanted to write the final statements for these people. I doubt it would have made a difference, but I think her speech to Mike was incredibly lame. She should have said he'd get more respect for taking the strongest player, that he won when he had to to get to the final, that he and Will played her and since she did their dirty work, people would be holding grudges against her, not him. She should have totally tried to stroke him. He's so volatile, it could have worked. Ahhh... who am I kidding?

I am SOOOOOO disappointed. I really wanted Will to win. That is not a secret, i have said that in every post. Janelle was my second choice. It sickens me that a coat-tail rider and a floater are final 2. I don't care who wins. Neither of them deserve it. I hope Erika kicks mike in the crotch after she hears how he talked about her in the diary room. It is DISGUSTING. His mom must be so proud.

Dammit Dammit Dammit!
THe WORST place to go out on Big Brother is third to
last, and Janelle has now done it TWICE IN A ROW!!!
You give up 3 months of your life for NOTHING!
At least this year (a) they're being paid more each
week than they were last year and (b) she probably
will win the $25,000 from America's Choice...but that
is a small victory for the best competitor in Big Brother history.
Will may still be the best PLAYER, but Janelle is by
far the best COMPETITOR. I think she now has taken
Danielle's place as the best house guest to never win
Big Brother.
Ugh.
Fricking Boogie. I can't stand him.
Also, Erika allegedly told Boogie she was going to
throw it to him so that she didn't have to make the
decision...and that she thinks she has a better shot
against him than record 9 time winner Janelle.
So let's see...Boogie lied to everyone, and faked a
showmance with Erica, while mostly riding on Will's
coattails (although he did win HOH twice, especially
the last one that he really needed.)
He also won $10,000 durinig the spider web endurance
challenge.
He also won a trip to Aruba and a Plasma TV during the
graveyard veto comp...and now he's going to win at least
$50,000...but he has a very strong chance of winning it
all. Let's see:
Marcellas - Eirka
Howie - Erika
James - Boogie
Danielle - Not Sure, I'll say Erika.
George - Boogie
Will - Boogie
Janelle - Not sure, I'll say Boogie.
It's most likely going to hinge on Janelle and Danielle,
and they could go either way, but I think it's going to
go to Boogie either 4-3 or 5-2. Will would have gotten
his wish. Will only agreed to come on All Stars if CBS
put Mike in the house with him, and he was hoping to get
to the final 2 with Mike, because he thought there was no
way anyone would give him the money twice...so Boogie
would win.
Ah well. Not that she needed it, but I texted in a
couple votes for Janelle. I guess you can vote up to
15 times from any one phone number...but I only voted
twice at 50 cents per text call.
Man, I can't stand Boogie. I was so hoping Janelle
would win the final HOH, boot Boogie and take Erika.
I could have lived with that. This sucks. I can't frickin stand Boogie, and never have.
If that would have happened, I think Danielle or Howie
would have won the $25,000, I doubt people would have
given it to Evil Dr Will.
Just like last year and season 4...it's pretty much
a who gives a $#!* who wins it all final 2.
Ugh.

Who would have figured that, in a season of All-Stars, that it would be the two biggest coat tail riders who made it to the final two?
Such a big disappointment!
If you're going to force me to vote, I'd give my vote to Erika, but only because Boogie's behavior and attitude was completely repulsive all season long.

Words cannot express my disappointment in yet another ending of Big Brother, so I won't even try.
Instead, I think I'll just ask this...When will they invent a reality show that requires honesty and integrity, and penalizes the people who intentionally throw competitions?
Wait, don't answer that. I already know....NEVER, because TPTB don't think that would make good tv.

ABC tried that last summer with the Scholar which was a classy competition to earn college scholarships. It sadly never made it to a second season.
What happened that janelle cracked during the most important HOH competition after winning all season long. I hate to say it but it is her own fault she finished third.
I will pick Erika to win because "Boogie" makes me ashamed to be a man.

BOOOOOO!!!! I am so mad that Janelle is gone. I felt so bad that she wasn't able to pull through. Everyone knows she deserves to win, but it's not about that, and unfortunately Boogie won HOH. So sad. So very very sad. There was just something about Janey that I loved, and even though she made some not-so-good decisions, she was a phenomenal player. And what's up with Boogie's receding hairline? Fivehead. And all the crap talking...calling Erica a h**. Wow. I mean, we all knew it was a (disgusting) showmance, but come on now. That was just mean. I actually would rather see Erica win than Boogie (can't believe I just said that.) I'll probably watch the finale, but not because I'm rooting for one or the other...

why, why, why??? I know- because Erika threw one question, that's why. She still gets second place and she didn't have to do any dirty work in the end- Janelle walks away loving her. I hear tv sets turning off all across America- and they won't be tuning in Tuesday night to see which of these floaters wins the cash. What the heck was Mike thinking with his hair? I still can't figure out what he was going for, other than looney bin city. I do have to say, though, as annoying as I began to find his and Will's DR phone calls- his lone call that kept ringing was really, really pathetic; he looked like a kid who opened his Christmas gifts and found out they were empty. I can't imagine anyone will be monitoring the live feeds between now and Tuesday- ick, yuck, blech.

hahaha. oh. I'm sorry. you all know i've been warming to janelle lately. Just a little. I think it's because howie was gone. her loyalty to him i think made me dislike her so much.
Anyway, I hope Boogie wins. I know everyone thinks that will did all the work and Boogie was just along for the ride, but he did win 2 hohs, 3 if you count tonight and he did manipulate people too. He did the work out in the open and will was behind the scenes. I mean, if that's why will won season 2, then boogie deserves this one.
The only thing Erika did was wisen up to chilltown's game and convince janelle to evict will. That's not enough to win. I don't think anyway.
What's the jury prize?
