September 12, 2006: Put on Your Boogie Shoes
Ahh, isn't it bromantic? Will's best buddy Mike Boogie Malin is now a half-million dollars richer and the proud winner of the Big Brother: All-Stars crown. OK, he didn't actually get a crown, though that might have been cool. Perhaps Julie could have fashioned one for him out of her origami-looking top. Sorry, I've been really good about not picking on Julie most of the summer, but I just couldn't resist. I honestly can't imagine anyone else hosting this show, but who comes up with these ridiculous outfits?
The jury members got to pose a bunch of questions to the final two

You weren't the only one wondering about those things. I was so disappointed by Erika's reaction. I didn't have the live feeds but I really don't think she was playing him quite to the extent he was playing her.
I know it's an edited show...but she kept admitting she liked him. He kept admitting he didn't like her.
My feelings about the finale and the season are just "eh." I'm not happy. I'm not disappointed. I'm just glad it's over.

When they announced that this year was going to
be an "All Stars" season, Mike Boogie is one of only
a limited few that I absolutely hoped wouldn't
make it into the house.
It's really unfortunate that Will had to make Boogie's
inclusion part of his negotiation, in that Will would
only do the show if Boogie was allowed in as well.
So it came down to one of the most hated former
HGs, and not hated in a good way, versus an America's
Choice entrant. And the America's Choice lost!
Yes, Will and Janelle should have been the final 2,
with Janelle winning (since Will already had won, and
they both had the biggest targets on them since Day 1.)
This season could have been so much better, but the
slop made the HGs crabby and lazy...the poor decisions
on the part of the producers (such as the Coup D'Etat,
the Prom Queen and the Volcano endurace with incomplete
instructions) as well as the final 2 and the actual
winner...made this season able to be summed up in one
word. Meh. Probably the funniest thing in the whole
season was the footage of the volcano erupting...since
it was never given a chance to be used thanks in part to
Julie Chen's poor instructions...remember, Chenbot 7000
never said anything about using both hands until Erika
asks for clarification...and Janelle wasn't paying
attention while she was trying to situate herself (which
is of course her own fault.) Once again another year
of Big Brother ends with...meh. Maybe next yeat they'll
have a new host, no stupid themes, no lame twists, and
they'll actually show the jury house on one of the live
feeds. And maybe golden pigs who spit $100 bills will
start flying out of my behind.

I'm happy. I really wanted boogie to win, since will couldn't.
EVERYONE knew janelle would get the fan vote. She wins every people's choice vote.
I loved them showing will and boogie's phone calls in the diary room. I was happy all the houseguests also thought it was funny. I don't think they were surprised though, since Mike and Will did it when the jury was asking mike and erika questions.
There was more I liked and wanted to talk about but I can't think of it now, so, I'm gonna go to bed.

Wow, early post, I'm surprised - glad I'm on the east coast!
Anyway, I liked the finale, but it was pretty anti-climactic. This was my first season watching BB and I'm glad I did. Look forward to seeing the commentary next summer too (assuming the pathetic new "design" [hate to call it something that implies beauty and architectural insight...] of this site goes away so I stick around beyond next week.  )

Well, I've done all my crying and complaining already so I was just relaxed and ok with the whole thing and besides if all of the juror guys were already at peace with it why couldn't I be ? I could even put up with Boogie tonight and you know what? I really don't like the guy but it would've been WAY more sad to remember BB All-Stars with Erika as the winner, it was sooo pathetic from her trying to come out at the end like she had also plaid Mike, yeah right! I almost felt a little sad for her (ALMOST) 'cuz she was gonna have to spend all of her 2nd place mone buying dignity.
When I watched at the 5 first evictees Kaysar just looked like he didn't belong there and it's the first time I've ever loved someone doing the phone thing, it was hysterical when K answered and said "it's for you" to Diane AND it was so pathetic that Jase and Diane revealed how there really was a Mr. and Mrs. Smith alliance, WHO CARES !! you got evicted 3rd and 4th.
I loved Howie's comments to Erika and thath they finally put James on the spot, such a little whiner! but I just LOVED LOVED LOVED the fact that Janelle still got more money than Erika at the end, hahahaha after all that slimy kissing Erika had to do and who knows what else...
oops, too bad, so sad... The Janey doll got more cash, whooo hooo!!!
(like she wasn't gonna win the 25k, right?)

When it was announced that these were our final 2 All Stars players, I was physically sick at the idea of Mike winning the 500k. However, I tuned into Morty's this weekend after the jury Q&A to see what the fallout was (often highly entertaining) and was so appalled at Erika's assertions to Mike and the internet that she had in fact orchestrated every eviction, manipulated everyone into doing her bidding, and played a hard, active, and smart game (I kept waiting for her to claim creating the Earth and parting the Red Sea while she was at it), that I had to reluctantly change my "vote" and give it to Mike- at least he played something (or someone). I'm thrilled that in the end, once Erika's salary from her time in the house is deducted from her 50k, she will in fact have made less than America's Choice 25k winner Janelle. Glad it's over- hope next year is better.....

Same opinion as the rest of you on the show and the winner, but my biggest agreement is on that blouse that Julie was wearing. Origami is a good word for it. I laughed out loud the instant I saw it. I thought it looked like a dinner napkin! You would think there would be someone on the staff that would tell her she looks ridiculous 80% of the time.

i said this last week.....i really didnt care who would win. cause i thought that mike and espcially erika didnt deserve to be in the final 2. after watching tonights show and the revealing of the winner i knew mike was going to win it. one more time dont care that he won.
it was real obvious that our janey won the $25,000, and i still say that she is the true winner of bb7. i think the giving the $25,000 to a jury member was set up after janey was evicted. but thats just my personal theories on that.
but anyway i have some observations that wasnt touched on:
-did anybody recognized nakomis with out her wild and crazy hair color?
danille saying not taking the voting personal. hello she defianlty took it personally in not voting for erika.
but overall i wasnt all that excited about the season finally ...and really didnt care who won. hopefully next years will be better.

When I was catching up on Joker's Updates last week and saw how Erika was taking credit for getting everyone out of the house, including Will and Janelle after watching the shows this year and how she was played by Boogie, I prayed that Boogie would win because she didn't deserve it even though Mike didn't need the money. Sure, he road Will's coattails, but it's no one's fault but the houseguests that they didn't vote Will out early on.
6 - 1 vote in Mike's favor. That rocked... I thought it would be 4 - 3.
Nakomis with one hair color - wth??? Was that truly Nakomis?
The phone skit between Diane, Jase, and Kaysar... loved when Kaysar said "it's for you", otherwise... that was sooooooooo over.
The HGs getting a laugh out of Will and Boogie's DR sessions was cool.
Jase's line about Will - priceless.
Janey getting the 25 grand - loved it. I think even the producers knew that Janey should have won the game and therefore wanted to do something to satisfy the fans after she was voted off last week. However, Boogie was right to vote her off because if he hadn't, she would have won last night.
