August 28, 2006: Flower Power
Erika got her HOH room. I love the flowery bedspread that she got, but it was too much of a good thing. Will said, "It looked like a florist had an epileptic fit." Even the food competition was flower-oriented. I did enjoy Will picking on the Season 4 people, though.
Will summed up Chill Town's strategy like this: "Keep our fingers crossed, hope for the best and backstab as many people as we can." But I liked that Erika tried to break up Chill Town's alliance. Did she really think that Mike would pick her over his best pal? "Am I really putting my [trust] in Mike Boogie's lovemaking ability? This might not be pretty."
And I've got a new favorite word: "showmantical." Lance Showmance apparently used his persuasive powers to keep himself and Chill Town off the block. Erika is going to be so annoyed when she sees the footage from this. Will's not really one to talk about Boogie's bedroom moves since his attempt at coming onto the camera in the backyard was just plain weird. "My relationship with the camera is as perfect as one can be." So freakin' bizarre.
I think they've cracked up from the lack of interaction with the outside world. They must be really bored if watching Chicken George belly-flop is the highlight of their day. Speaking of the Chicken man, I was giggling watching him jump on top of Mike. And Georgie got a slop pass, courtesy of his fellow houseguests. They didn't exactly make the wisest choices when it came to food. They only ended up with wine, beer and meat. Will called it, "The Atkins diet for alcoholics."
So Janey and George are on the block again. Will Janey's flirting with Will in the diary room help? What is up with these duo diary rooms? I did like their hot-tub conversation, though. Janelle admitted to having a little crush and, if he was the last man on earth, "I wouldn't like you, but I'd still have sex with you."
Guess we'll find out if the lucky gal can stick around another week.
As always, please put "Spoiler Alert" in anything pertaining to the live feeds, and have a nice night.
Till Tuesday....

Yay first to post!! Erika's a dumby. Surely she doesn't REALLY think Boogie will choose her over Will?! I'm still hoping Janelle will take over this whole thing. She deserves to win the most. And if not her, then my vote's for Danielle.

Janelle sold out her whole alliance to hang with chilltown while Will sat back, flirted and manipulated the whole thing. I love Janelle but Will totally deserves to win. He has stayed loyal to his true alliance - mike boogie. He is 2 steps ahead of everyone else and truly deserves the win.

Angel, I agree the camera thing with Will was way weird, but yet I still thoroughly enjoyed it! I am just disgustingly in love with Will, I just can't help myself. Watching him and Janelle together is so funny. I hated her all along, but I'm glad she hasn't left yet, because she sure does make this game intersting. I really can't stand Erika, is she really that stupid that she doesn't realize Boogie is playing her? I mean she asked who he would pick and he hesitated, if he was serious he would have never hesitated! Oh, and to anyone that loved Erika's room, head to Target. All I kept think when they revealed the room, was "wow, Big Brother buys all their stuff at Target!" They have all kinds of stuff with those flowers on them. Can't wait to see the POV competition, I wonder who Erika will put up if Janelle or CG wins the Veto....

As much as I want Danielle to win, I think Will deserves to win. He is the "Master of Manipulation". After watching him work people over and they fall for it is amazing, plus he is cute and funny.

I posted this last night on the original blog for this episode, so I'll repeat it here:
The food challenge was gross and stupid!!
When we have to watch and hear about make-out sessions between Mike and Erika, you know something is seriously wrong with the episode. Boring doesn't even describe it. Coma inducing is more like it. And Erika was worried about her mother seeing her jump on Mike to get the nectar out of his costume (see? gross!). Does she think her mom will love the necking scenes and suggestions of more?? Trashy.
I'm not even a Will fan, but I found the kissing up to the camera to be very funny. Too bad that was the highlight of the show. _____________________________________________________
Angel, I thought Janelle said she still wouldn't like Will, but she would have children with him if he was the last man on earth. I could be wrong about that.

For once I would like to see the HOH put up either Will or Boogie and Janelle. Once you break up ChillTown then the games is open to everyone....Does Erika really think Boogie is going to choose her over Will--"Bro's before Ho's"----I believe that is what Boogie said....Danielle is in a tough spot because if George goes home then she has to figure out if Erika is w/ChillTown or she will be next....

I would love to see Danielle win the power of veto and take Chicken George off the block. This would force Erika to either put Will or Mike on the block....I would love to see Danielle win the whole thing.....

I always find BB All Stars entertaining and last night was no different. Will was hilarious flirting with the camera. I didn't find it weird at all. He has a massive ego but is such a clown. In the beginning of the season I honestly disliked him but he has truly won me over and has made this season to reason to watch. Janelle also is entertaining and I enjoy watching her and Will interact more than anyone else in the house, they're very funny together. I would be very happy if either of them win because both of them far out play anyone else in the house. I am confused about Thur's viewing. In my local area the TV Guide has a football game airing during the BB timeslot. Does anyone else have that happening? Does that mean for those of us who have the football game airing that we will miss the Thur's BB show? What a disappointment and it being unfair if that happens.

Didn't anyone else find it entirely obnoxious that Erika was standing around in her bathing suit the whole time?
Sooo annoying!

Does anyone else feel like the food competition is going to end up on E!'s "The Soup?" I can just hear Joel McHale saying, "Just when you thought reality TV couldn't sink any lower, Big Brother brings us six adults participating in what can only be desribed as Halloween meets the Playboy Channel."
Anyway, I really like this season overall, but the Sunday night/nomination edition has become the least entertaining of the three installments. The nominations only take a few minutes, and the food/luxury competitions aren't that engaging. I think the producers should come up with a Sunday night competition that really impacts the game like POV & HOH. Like if the winner can "phone a friend" and ask any one question they wish. Like Janelle could call her mom and ask "Is James aligned with Danielle?" Just a thought.
Anyway, I'd like to see Janelle and Will in the final two. They've played the best games, and they have witty reparte.
Regarding Ericka in her swimsuit, she was totally preparing to spend some "Boogie time" and she couldn't go totally in her birthday suit. They're a bizarre couple. More like Lance Nomance. Blech.
