The Big Bang Theory Sucks
I just watched the season premiere of this series and was very disappointed. I programmed my TiVo to record "The Big Bang Theory" because I love Kaley Cuoco, first in "8 Simple Rules," then in "Charmed." But all four of the guys in this show are absolute dorks, and I can't abide watching any of them at all.
I would happily watch Kaley Cuoco sitting on a stool in a miniskirt, crossing her legs occasionally, reading from the Yellow Pages for an hour. But suffering through the idiocy of the four so-called "Lead Actors" reading lame, unfunny jokes, is just painful. So even though Kaley Cuoco is one of my favorite actresses, I can't watch this show because all four of the other stars are total dorks and basically unwatchable.

ok yeah the show wasnt the greatest but jim parsons was dead on good. and they are supposed to be geeks. i cant be the only one who is tired of seeing guys who are supposed to be geeks but strangely look like a gap ad...

I laughed out loud on several occasions which I haven't done since Everybody Loves Raymond retired. I even felt a little sheepish when they were clamoring to see the DVD commentary for Battlestar Galatica I have done that myself. Am I a nerd? No, but there were several references that I could relate to. Give it a chance. Watch it online if you miss it real time. The tall guy's dry wit is strength enough to watch the show IMHO.

I think this is one of the funniest new shows I've seen in years.
Why do you think that only "cool" people can be shown on tv shows? They are funny because they are dorks.
TV doesn't need another show about people who think they are cool. It is these guys who know they are totally uncool that are new and fresh and hysterical to watch. I laughed out loud more for this show than any other, new or old, this tv season so far.

I actually enjoyed The Big Bang Theory. I hope the networke execs give it a chance.
