Well all of our dreams came true last night -- he's off! I actually missed the episode (which I'm really angry about b/c I heard he was weeping like a child), probably gonna look it up later on youtube. For anyone else who missed it, here's the scoop: Read it.

This is hilarious: Malakar then performed one last song, "Something To Talk About." Putting his own twist on the song, the 17-year-old known for his pretty looks and ever-changing hairstyles ad-libbed: "Let's give them something to talk about ... other than hair."

You know you are all so very wrong to be so cruel in your criticism of this young sensitive boy. How many of you would be willing to take the risk of performing in front of millions and then being picked apart. Obviously everyone could see at his audition ,,,that he had a fairly nice voice. And all the judges put him through. He has stood up to what could only be a nightmare of terrible reviews and nasty comments...week after week. Did we all forget Kevin Covais....who similarly was young and not very good but was kept longer than necessary. But America forgave him his youth and even found him adorable. Both of these boys deserved the same treatment. But poor Sanjaya was unfairly given so much more to feel badly about as he goes home. Is it because Sanjaya was of a different origin than Kevin. Perhaps we are not open to people whose families are from different cultures to be American Idols. My hope is that this boy is snapped up for something special ...whether it is a TV show , a movie or a record deal. And that he laughs all the way to the bank. I am sick of all the horrible remarks. And I hope they will stop now. Perhaps if this was your child , brother or nephew ...it would be different. NOW find one of the other boring idols to pick on....

Thank you, Browneyed Lady, for speaking up for Sanjaya! Why has it become so trendy to bash this sensitive individual? (I think there's an undercurrent of racism behind the negative remarks.)

Sanjaya is a sweet kid and seems like a genuinely good person. He may not be the world's greatest singer, but his charisma shines through. God bless him for being unique!

p.s.

Phil Stacey sucks! I think he looks like Kevin Federline (who also sucks!)
