What REALLY happened with Paula ...
OK: Is there really anyone who couldn't figure out what happened with Paula judging a "song" that hadn't been sung? Ryan Seacrest announces at the beginning of the show that there would be no judging until after everyone sang TWICE. Paula writes down "Song 1", "Song 2" on her notepaper, then suddenly is asked to judge ... she thinks she has zoned out because she has NOTHING written for "Song 2" (remember she looked at her paper and said, "We've never been asked to write stuff down this fast" ...) SO ... she decides if she wrote nothing down while the song was performed, it must have left her "EMPTY" ... which is exactly what she says to cover up what she THINKS was an embarrassing loss of consciousness. NONE of this means she was drunk, and it all plays out with every word and expression on her face.

I think everyone is being too hard on Paula for this. The judges do see the rehearsals. It is live TV. And after all we have seen her much worse.

#1- should not have been judging on the rehearsal!(even if that was the case!!)every performance is different.#2-Never, since i have been watching idol (since season1)-have I ever saw the judges go on tv shows and down right put down a contestant (Jason)..this is sooo wrong & unfair..He is the only amateur in the contest this year..He does his best every song & puts his heart & soul into his performances..Shame on you judges..I don't know if the producers are putting them up to this bashing or not..but it is completely wrong. Why all the interviews bashing this kid-what are they afraid of...We will make our own decisions!!
