Clay Aiken is American Idol Loser
I just saw where you were showing the AmericanIdol winners on TVGuide. Clay Aiken lost remember. The very talented Ruben Studdard won. Ruben is singing Celebrate me Home when the losers go home. Clay's new album is worse than his last one, if you can imagine that. The thing with Clay is, he screams, he doesn't sing. Clay was on the internet exposing himself to another gay man, he put his foot in a woman's face on an airline and the FBI were called, and of course that unfortunate Kelly Ripa incident where he put his hand over her mouth. How disgusting is that. I don' think Clay Aiken's picture should be shown along the great American Idols because he doesn't act like one - on yeah he lost didn't he. There are a lot of parents that are banning his album because of his behavior on the internet and everywhere else. I think people shouldn;t buy Clay Aiken's album he has no morals and can't sing. But, please take his picture down when you are showing the AI winners, Clay is a loser in every way.

I doubt Ruben would agree with this rant about his friend Clay, and I certainly don't think he's appreciate someone talking about his friend this way. Clay's album is very good, thank you very much; he sings beautifully and certainly does not scream; he is not gay and he did not expose himself or otherwise 'hook up' with anyone on the Internet; he did not put his foot in anyone's face on an airline or anywhere else (she attacked him while he slept); and he most certainly has morals. The whole Kelly Ripa thing was blown all out of proportion by Kelly herself. Clay is a man of character and proves it each and every day. Your accusations are without validity. If you are such a fan of Ruben, then respect his friend.

belle7 , you have every right to not care for Clay Aiken but to list reasons that are nasty tabloid lies takes away from your credibility .
I saw a recent interview with Ruben who said he was asked to say bad things about Clay . His reply : I can't do that , man . He's my brother .
They have remained close for 5 years . It's too bad you can't let go of the hate . and support people you like , not tear down people you don't .

First of all, you have it all wrong. Clay really did beat out Ruben; and by millions of votes. He was receiving 80 percent of the votes, per two producers, every single week he was on. One phone line and two hours of voting was not enough to receive all of Clay's votes. The line crashed. Didn't AI add on more phone lines and more hours to vote the very next year?????? Second, just what has Ruben done to prove he was the 'winner'?? Clay has proven many times over that he is the true "IDOL". Ruben has had to cancel many performances and a couple of tours due to lack of ticket sales. When have you last seen Ruben on tv on a talk show (late or morning) or sitcom? Or even in other media events?? Clay did CMH during one of his Xmas tours (one of 9 very successful tours, so far) and it had so much more heart and soul into in it (you can listen/watch on youtube.com). Clay was a huge success in his 4 months role(s) on Broadway and is up for two Broadway Audience awards. Clay works his butt off working with several charitable organizations, including is very own very successful one. In fact, this summer, UNICEF will be sending Clay overseas AGAIN in his role as Ambassador For The Education of All Children. Toys For Tots had his most successful year ever in its history the year Clay was involved in it. I don't understand how tvguide.com even allowed your post in. Clay can sue for what you said about the internet exposure that never happened - where the heck did you see/read about that?? Kelly Ripa put HER hands over and INTO Regis' mouth several times and a couple of other guests did the same to her- she deserves it. And, Clay did NOT put his foot in someone's face on the airplane. Get YOUR facts right before you spew such idiocy.

Well, Belle7, first of all I'd like to ask you who died and made you a saint? Second, of all, you are dissing him for nothing. Certain Idol unmentionables three years ago, posted that there would be vicious rumors about Clay, so that he would lose his fan base. It was made out of malice, and jealousy, because Clay was so popular. Well, it came true, and you are and others that fell into the trap are disgruntled. They accomplished their objective. To ban his CD especially for young people when he has many positive messages in his songs, is outrageous. There is even a song on there where he sings to God, because God see's the Real Me. The Real Me is being chastised for something he isn't. Clay is not a child anymore, and perhaps he isn't so innocent at 29 years old, but he certainly isn't what he has been accused of. And even if it was true, it would be a life long lesson, that you're not supposed to continue on that path. Clay hasn't been accused of anything like this, until his albums are about to drop, or be recorded. It is all about timing to cause people like you and others not to buy his music. That's what they want. There are a lot of haters out there, because of evil people. Clay has had many dates with women, they just don't get published. Clay likes his privacy. He doesn't drag photographers around.
The Ripa incident was blown way out of proportion. He was teasing her (and she had done it several times to Regis)BTW, and the plane incident was filed with the FBI, because the lady attacked him. He was sleeping.
I'm enjoying Clay's new album, and I know others will too. It's his best to date. He has uptempo songs, as well as ballads. Many critics have praised his singing. He in no way screams on this record, nor did he do so on the last one. So, Belle, you and others don't have a case.
