« Amazing Race: All-Stars
All Stars is nealy upon us
Definitely ready for this long awaited all stars edition to get going. Normally, this show doesn't heat up until several weeks in - as there are so many teams to start the race and you don't really even figure out who is who until the 3rd or 4th show. In that we already know these teams well, the race should be interesting right from the start - and nobody will want to be the first team eliminated. Would be like getting being the starting pitcher in the all-star game and getting yanked in the first inning.
Any thoughts?

I'm very dissapointed with the cast that was picked for all-stars. It doesn't seem like there's a single truly memorable team on the show, other than maybe Rob & Amber. No Jonathan & Victoria, BJ & Tyler, or Colin & Christie. Nevertheless, I'm stll excited for the season, and hoping that Oswald & Danny can win it all.

The Amazing Race—All-Star Worthiness? Rob and Amber--definitely (love ‘em or hate ‘em!—They lost because an airline that sponsored the show returned to the gate after already pulling away. When does that happen in the real world?). David and Mary--not so much when racing against cut-throat “all-stars.” And, where are Jon and Kris, Sandy and Francesca, Andrew and Syeon, Joe Jer, and Zabrina, and Mardy and Marsio? Don’t know the last four teams? Then, you aren’t as much of a fan of the show as you should be.
Sandy and Francesca, Andrew and Syeon, Joe Jer, and Zabrina, and Mardy and Marsio are all quality racers from the first edition of the Amazing Race Asia. All four of these teams could show the Americans how it is done, but they still squabble and have lapses into ugly “American” tourist-type behavior on occasion.

I'm not sure that I'll watch this edition of the Amazing Race. First of all, I am soooooo sick of having Boston Rob and Amber crammed down my throat. Aren't their 15 minutes of fame up already? Also, I am so sad that the hippies BJ and Tyler aren't going to be on there. And why are David and Mary the coal miners on there? Not trying to be mean, but they are not all stars. The only reason they made it as far as they did is because other teams helped them along. And I don't like those beauty queens Dustin and Candice either. Blah! Not watching this time, they messed up!
