The end

So Amanda was picked. Am I the only one who thinks she's stuck-up, manipulative, and possessive? - the type of girl you pull your buddy aside for and try to shake reason into when he's got the boob-goggles on?
My favorite part throughout the episode was when Mark's mom told her as they were leaving, "you're shy like me." And Amanda had this cunning look in her eyes, "Yeah... I'm shy too! (that's my excuse! that's what I'll blame my lack of social skills and charisma on!)."
[Note too when Mark's mom in terms of cooking, told Amanda "well how will you learn if you don't try?" And Amanda didn't get get up to try to help or show some effort? =stuck-up]

I think the producers were hoping to rig such that an older woman would win hands down which would generate more buzz, more money...right now the final decision just flopped. For sure the younger women were good-looking, but in the personality & emotional department (ie. crying all the time and pining for Mark all day), the older women were way more fun (and sexy) and intelligent...and knew about the little things that matter (ie. at the very least able to put together a salad..haha. Or even knowing the thing to do is bring a gift for his mother.)
I feel for the guy though, he picked a 25 year old who can't even put together a salad and who I don't doubt is going to give him a heck of a time when he tries to get out of the relationship with her. He seems like a nice guy...nice guys attract manipulative girls- that should be the moral of this story...possibly a new tv show.
[note too he made his final choice based on, "who he'd like to date more", her final comment was "happily ever after." eek! ]
