Disappointing, but Predictable End

I was trying to reply to one of the other posts, but it wouldn't let me, so I'm opening another one. I also noticed Mark's comment about finding someone to date. I think Amanda was thinking a little more long-term than that though. It's really a shame Mark couldn't pick the older Jen, because I think they could have had a great time together. He'll tire of Amanda pretty quick since she doesn't seem to have much of a personality. Mark mentioned in the beginning of the series that he wanted to start a family someday. That, unfortunately, pretty much left Jen out of the picture. Oh well. It was still fun to watch all the fantastic dates and secret kisses. I'm a sucker for these kind of shows, I just can't help it. One final word.... I hope some wonderful forty or perhaps even fiftysomething man will have seen Jen on the show and look her up and woo her. She deserves that and more.

You are so right. I myself am in my mid 40's. Amanda still has a long life to live, but a dancer for a Hockey Team is not going to make it with a Tennis Pro. She will be constantly watching every single move Mark does, if she would watch more tennis she would know that. I myself am a tennis fan, so I know. I will give them less than six months in the dating scene. As for the other 40 yr olds that were in the show, ladies hope you find somebody better. Good luck to you all. You have proven that age is a in the head. If you feel young at heart you are young in body.
