Episode Recap: "Daddy's Little Girl"
It would be really nice if just once Tom could have a fun, conflict-free day. Getting lucky and having a lucky day apparently do not go hand in hand. It’s good to see that he and Kyle are, if not exactly back to being a normal family, at least not averse to working together. I’m not sure if they’re more or less dysfunctional than the Tylers, but at least they don’t seem to be on totally opposite sides anymore.
As for the Tylers, well, it could be an SVU plot if it didn’t also involve telekinesis and reverse aging. Let’s not forget that Richard did try to kill Isabelle at the end of last season, and has now kidnapped her, drugged her and turned her back into a toddler. I’m shocked any parent would voluntarily return to the diaper days, but to each his own. What’s interesting about this whole situation (besides, you know, the whole going from 20 to 2 in a day via the amazing antioxidant powers of water), is that we’ve witnessed a complete role-reversal. Last season Isabelle was the one making dangerous unilateral decisions and hurting government agents with psychic power while Richard tried to help keep her under control and stay in line. And now? Isabelle is sort of respectable and Richard is the one pinning people to ceilings with his mind. Oh, and he’s smoking hot. Did I mention that?
Meanwhile, on the other side of Seattle, there were some really exhausted would-be bobby-soxers. To be fair to Tess, she didn’t realize that making people dance for days on end to golden oldies was torture; she had no idea where she was or when it was or even that she had schizophrenia. It looks like she’s been cured since Shawn helped her out, so now she and Kevin can go back to being the most adorable couple on this show since the death of Lily.
But now it’s time to cue the ominous music and take stock of the questions raised in the last three minutes. What’s all this about Kevin devising a way to test Promicin tolerance? What’s the deal with Tom’s Marked mole growing back? Can little Isabelle remember everything? It was a lot to set up, but this show has always been really good about not leaving us hanging for too long.
What are you all hoping to see resolved by the end of the season?

What a jam-packed episode! The retrn of Richard would have had so much more impact if they hadn't given it away in the previews. - just like the "you'll never believe who's bac" for next week.
Loved seeing Tess and Burkhoff back - and Shawn's explanation that helping him was worth the risk was very appropriate. So now Tess is finally able to distinguish between fantasy and reality. She could just waltz into Promise City and take over, now that would be interesting.
Anyone notice that with all the "being friends" going on between Tom and Meghan, we still never saw her left ear - they've been very careful in how they shoot her.
I have an odd feeling that what Richard did to Isabelle may have the uninendec consequence of restoring her powers - and that she won't stay a little girl for very long.

Oh, very clever, Charliy. I would never have thought of that ... darn it, I've grown to like Isabelle. I sure hope this doesn't ruin things!

Meghan and Tom hook-up = Ew, Ick and NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Having gotten that off my chest, I did, for the most part, enjoy the show tonight.
I skipped last week, deciding I was through with the show, but with Richard back on the scene, well, how could I skip that? Very interesting, and we did see more 4400 action, so I was glad I watched.

Richard reasoning to make Isabel a baby again made good sense. No Im not condoning on what he did, but from his view point its a good idea. One night he kissed his 1y/o daughter good night, the next day he woke to his 20 y/o daughter. I never really understood why that happened to her(maybe I forgot how it happened). I still don't care for her. And since I didn't get to say this last year, but I thought it was absoutly sick that Sean was sleeping with her when just 3 months ago(maybe 3 months ago) she was a toddler.
But Charliy, I also would never of thought of that. But I guess Richard would of known if it did or not before he told her to drink the water. Who made that concoction anyway? Did I miss that part?
Anyway, Im also not liking Tom and Meghan together. I still think Meghan is part of the "marked group".
And to answer your questions Leah, I have absoutly have no idea on whats going to happen.

For a theory, I am guessing that this will be the reason that the future or the marked try to activate Tom, now that Isabelle is small again, they probably figure she can be used as their weapon again. I am guessing Tom as marked might use Kyle's growing feelings for Isabelle as a trap, but I am also guessing Kyle will be the thing that stops Isabelle from being who she was before.

I was so glad to see Richard come back as well as Kevin and Tess who had been missing since they parted ways with Jordan! I like the theory about Isabelle inadvertantly getting her powers back this way, though I had been liking her a lot lately and I hope she comes back as she was. This episode was a lot better than the past couple of weeks, thankfully

Cheers for the return of Richard... looking sooo fine and handsome. I can understand his actions...he wants a chance to be a father to his daughter...not a keeper to menace. He wants her to have a "normal" childhood. In this show...good luck with that... Now, I SOOO think Meaghan is a plant, a set up. Too convenient that she shows up after Tom has the mole removed. Boss to underling romance is so not cool. Anyone notice that no one else at NTAC mentioned those flyers? She just happens to show up in that low cut dress... sorry I don't buy it. She's one of the baddie futurites. And...so is Cassie. I don't trust her at all. Great episode... great to see Sean working with Tess and Burkoff (spl?) this show so rocks!!!!

So Berkhoff is the indestructible cheerleader?
Actually, I really enjoyed this episode, too. I agree that Meghan cannot be everything she appears to be. I think we will learn soon that Tom must do one thing to remove the mark and its effects permanently -- take promicin. In case anyone forgot, when they explained the Marked, they pointed out that none of them have promicin in their system.
I am excited as this season starts to move toward a close, but is there any chance that they can expand next season into 20 episodes? Thirteen is just not enough to last me for the year!

I totally agree with the 20 episode seggestion. It's so short (
I have one question: Didn't Kevin and Tess inject promicin into Diana's arm last season? I remember that very vividly but she should have developed something by now.
As for Meghan, I don't like her either and believe she is not "good". So I'd like THAT revealed this season.
I actually think this season has been all over the place. To me it's not nearly as satisfying as the previous seasons.
Still tho, the show is awesome!

You can only see the extra 7 episodes of the season if you've taken promicin.

My very first thought was that Isabelle was going to get her abilities back. This time she won't have anyone whispering in her ear and using her emotions and hormones against her like she had in the past. I think that she will be a more wholesome person and she will use her abilities in the way the future intended. Plus I never bought into the idea that she was deathly allergic to promicin the way the authority said she was. They were just trying to freak her out.
Richard looks amazing with that triple bald fade, look soooo gooood. But I don't like his speaking pattern I want to believe that it is because he is from the past and that is what makes his speach so subserveant. Dude read up on civil rights and get it going my man.
