Welcome back to the rest of Season 2 of Kyle XY. ABC Family's decision to show the first half of the season last summer/fall was a nice treat, because now we will actually have 10 weeks of fresh episodes instead of being subjected to reruns due to the writers' strike. Overall I was expecting more. I was let down by this episode. Kyle was going to jump off the edge after Jessi, but Foss, stops him. Is Jessi really dead? Kyle is starting to realize that Foss has been taking care of Baylin but the rest of the organization still exists, and has been helping Foss take care of Baylin. Kyle has been told to tell the Trager the truth. Kyle spills the truth. Josh has the expected reaction. "Whoa, that is so much cooler than anything he could think of." Nicole is not upset, she welcomes him home. Steven, Nicole, and Kyle are plotting how to bring down Madacorp. Kyle has balls, he walks right up to Ballantine and states, " hear you were looking for me?" Kyle wants to make a deal with Ballantine to save the Trager. The "Laurie Trager is open for business line" sounds so much like a prostitute — how did that get past the censors? Declan walks in. Laurie and Declan chat, and Declan is still so hooked on her. I don't think the deal is going to work, Jessi is alive. She is trying to get all the information out by writing on a glass wall. Now both Kyle and Steven are busted and being held. Nicole is worried about Steven and Kyle. Jessi and Kyle are connected somehow. Kyle is trying to get Jessi to not give out the information in her head. Did Kyle cause that power spike or did Jessi? Brian Taylor is back and warns Kyle that the machine will fry his brain if he does not co-operate. Together, Kyle and Jessie overpower the machine. Kyle and Jessi blacked out the whole city. When we last left, Kyle had just found Jessi at the place where he threw Adam's ashes into the river; we pick up tonight with Kyle and Jessi walking through the woods. Jessi wants to know why Kyle is helping her. The answer is simple: He trusts her. Emily gives Foss his cell phone and a key to his handcuffs, hoping that he would lead them all to Kyle and Jessi. The key allows Foss to escape, and Kyle asks him to watch over the Tragers. Kyle and Jessi are on the run and visiting places that Adam and the women in the photograph had been. The mystery of Kyle and Jessi’s origins is only growing deeper. The ring that Kyle has from Adam actually contains a map to another house. What is in that house that is so important? It seems that Jessi can read Hungarian, so she translates the message on the back of the picture. The message, as has been stated a few times, is “The light will show you the way.” This time, Kyle starts to examine the ring that Adam left him. He discovers an opening in the back, and when he projects a light through it, a map is displayed. As they try to follow the map from the ring, they come across the diner that Adam and the women visited. When he mentions to the waitress that that they are looking for Route 12, she seems to get a bit cagey. Could she know what lies at the end of Route 12 and is helping to protect it? The map leads them to a house in the woods, where they find Adam — or is it a clone of Adam? — in some sort of suspended animation or coma. It is interesting that this house is still there and still powered up. Who has been maintaining the house? How do they get all that electricity out there? Are there backup generators maintaining the house and Adam, in case the power fails? Kyle tries to establish a mental link with Adam, but he can’t. He asks Jessi for help, and once the connection has been established, Jessi betrays Kyle by reading his mind and downloading all his data. Adam is able to warn Kyle, and he immediately breaks the link. He then goes after Jessi to find out why she betrayed him. They get into a fight, and she jumps into the spillway. Is she dead after that jump? It is a long way down, but we know that both Kyle and Jessi have special abilities. Meanwhile, on the homefront, Nicole and Steven are starting to put the pieces of Kyle’s life together. They seem to be on a witch hunt, trying to confirm that what is happening is not their fault, that Kyle is really a bad seed, like Jessi. Josh gets very upset with this and will not participate. Lori finally realizes that Declan knows more than he is telling, and she and her parents confront him. Declan won't tell, but he explains that Foss could shed some light on what is happening. This is the last episode until early next year. They always seem to leave us with more questions and answers. What are your thoughts? If you missed tonight’s episode you can catch it again at midnight on Wednesday, or use our Online Video Guide to watch it now.

I have no clue where to start. I am still trying to process this episode in my head, so my thoughts are going to be brief, but hopefully structured.
I am guessing that Jessi is already missing when the episode starts, and the Tragers have already been told. It seems that Jessi has had a complete mental breakdown and ran away. I’m pretty certain that the treatments Madacorp did are at the root of Jessi’s loss of her grasp on reality.
Nicole, being the protective mother, decides to lock down the kids and keep them in the house. As a result, Declan, Amanda, Andy and Hilary all come over to see various members of the family. Hilary and Lori are trying to figure out the perfect way of getting even with Jessi, while Andy and Josh are just hanging out, playing games and growing closer. Declan comes over to talk to Kyle, and Kyle seems like he's in a dream state.
Kyle is starting to realize that all the problems he is seeing with the people he loves are a result of Jessi. The majority of the episode revolves around Kyle having a conversation with Adam/himself and Jessi. Kyle seems to be conflicted over whether he should help Jessi. It turns out that Kyle already knows all the answers, but he just doesn't realize it. He needs his subconscious mind (Adam) to help him process all the things he knows.
Kyle ultimately decides that he needs to go find Jessi and see if he can help her. So where does he start? At the beginning, in the woods by Zzyzx. But they seem to end up in the woods by Adam’s house. How does Jessi get there if she's never been there before? Why did Adam live so close to the Zzyzx facility yet they did not know about him? Why is Jessi at the tree stump that Kyle stood on in the first season, when he tried to get back to his spaceship?
I guess Kyle is acting a lot like the rest of us do when we try to work things out and have a conversation with ourselves.
Nicole realizes something about Kyle and Jessi while she is reviewing his notes. But what does she realize? I know she asked Kyle’s permission to tell Steven. What did Kyle share with her that she now thinks is so important to tell Steven? And how does that relate to Jessi?
Meanwhile, Steven discovers the secret of the device he built, and that they want to use it on Kyle. He also discovers Foss.
Also, Hilary tries to play Dr Phil to Lori and Declan and get them back together. What was that reference to Heroes all about? How does that tie in, besides referencing a pop-culture phenomenon? What do you guys think?
And don't forget, there's a Season 2 marathon airing on Labor Day leading up to the final episode.

Tonight’s episode is about causes. Helping cancer research, and being environmentally friendly, but they really don’t weave either of these into the storyline. They both come across to me as just props. We were sort of throw head first into this fund-raising event for cancer research, but the stage really was not set. Why would the Tragers want to attend this event? They didn't seem to want to go to events like this last year. Only Josh and Nicole know about Andy’s cancer, so how did they convince Lori, Kyle and Declan to participate? We knew that Josh wanted to enter and win the car, but what caused Kyle and Jessi to enter? It was a bit convenient that both Kyle and Jessi ended up being drawn for a chance to win the car. I guess it was a way to set the stage so that we could focus on Kyle’s interaction with Jessi, in order to figure her out. The other main plotlines tonight were Josh’s interaction with Andy and how they are growing closer; Lori’s not trusting Jessi, and wants to find dirt on her. What is written on the back of the picture? Kyle says to himself, "The light will show you the way," but when I checked a translation website I got a könnyű akarat mutat ön a út, which does not even look close. Is the writing in Hungarian? If so, how does Kyle know Hungarian? While holding on to the car, Kyle attempts to understand Jessi by talking to her and just being friendly. At some point, Kyle touches Jessi’s shoulder and ends up reading her thoughts. This freaks Jessi out, and they get distant again. Eventually Jessi comes back around, and asks Kyle for his help. He ends up using relaxation techniques to help Jessi release her supressed memories. But in the end they short out the lights and an explosion separates them, which I guess was an explosion of static energy. Kyle struggles to figure out how to explain to Jessi where she is from, since her memories confirmed to Kyle that she is like him and is from Zzyzx. I am starting to get the feeling that whatever Madacorp did to surpress Jessi’s memories resulted in her becoming schizophrenic, and not realizing some of the things she is doing, like threatening Paige. Declan’s line, "Wickedly hot mentally scrambled" is the perfect description of Jessi. I did find it interesting that enough people had dropped out that Kyle and Jessi could walk to the front of the car, yet a scene or two later, it was supposedly the four-hour mark and there were at least a dozen people still holding the car. That was a nice continuity goof. What purpose did the phone call from Foss have? I don’t see how it furthered the storyline. It was also pretty apparent that when they moved the clinical trials of CIR up, that Foss was going to be the test subject. I expect that either Foss will not survive the experiment, or if he does, his brain will be thoroughly scrambled. Josh had to buy his way into the contest to win the car. It turns out that his ultimate motive is to win the car and give it to Andy. Somehow he thinks giving Andy the car will cheer her up, but when Andy finds out, she flips out. I guess I would have done the same thing. At the end of the episode, Andy realizes, with a little help from Nicole, that Josh was only trying to make her happy and forget about her cancer for awhile. As Ausiello reported last week, the second season ends around Labor Day. The third season will start in early 2008 and air the remaining 10 episodes of the 23 that were ordered. The episode revolved around the ring that Kyle sold and how to get the ring back, since it opens the box that Kyle found in the remains of Zzyzx.
Ballantine (MadaCorp) thought things were going too slowly, so he invited himself to dinner with the Tragers. I am not sure how this would speed things up, unless he wanted Kyle to see that he possessed the ring. Nicole seemed to take the unexpected dinner guest well.
Kyle, Foss and Declan hatched a plan to get the ring back, which almost didn't work out, but it resulted in Foss sacrificing himself to make sure Kyle and Declan escaped. Again, it seemed too easy for Kyle, Declan and Foss to bypass all the security and get into MadaCorp.
Speaking of security, that place seemed very 1984 to me: retinal scanners and CCTV cameras all over the place, yet there's no security at the entrance? You can just walk in and go through a metal detector. Most buildings I’ve worked in since the early '90s require you to swipe your ID card to pass through a gate or a turnstile, not ropes and a metal detector like an airport. If that place was really so secure, why not require IDs to push a button in the elevator, or a door before the chamber that needs an ID/retinal scan in order to open, before you even get to the guard? Why did the guard leave his post to check out the stairwell? In most secure places, another guard would have been dispatched to check out the stairwell.
While Kyle was inside and using Ballantine’s computer to control the various systems, he discovered his and Jessi’s files and started to read them. I guess we will have to wait a few episodes to discover what he found out.
The way Jessi draws bothered Nicole, so she took one of the pictures and compared it to what Kyle had drawn. She ended up identifying the ZZyzx logo. Jessi, meanwhile, discovered Emily's secret and befriends Paige, Emily’s daughter.
Josh and Andy are growing closer, thanks to the advice that Nicole offered. I like the way he swore his mother to secrecy by requesting a therapy session.
So at the end we got to see the contents of the box. It's a really bad picture of Adam and someone that looks like Jessi.
It was hinted at tonight, during the preview of next week’s episode, that there are only three more episodes left to the season, which means the last episode of this season will be Labor Day, September 3. I guess the remaining episode order will be for the third season.
So what do you guys think?

What is it with the writers for this show? They have been using a lot of song titles lately, but either way, there was certainly more action and intrigue in this episode. Foss is back, and boy is Kyle upset with him. Kyle wants to know where he was and what he was doing. He does admit that he sent the photos to Declan or Lori, but that is really no surprise. Is Foss really not to be trusted or is there more that meets the eye here? Foss is not helping his case by not coming clean to Kyle. For some strange reason, Lori wants to go to the spot where Jessi killed the hunter. It ends up being a gang field trip: Kyle and Declan — who can’t seem to stop Lori from going. Josh and Andy — who just want to do something different. Jessi — who wants to be near Kyle or Declan, and she is back from being reprogrammed. Amanda — who notices how Jessi is reacting to Kyle and will not let the two of them be alone. Is there a little jealousy there? Was that a zing by Andy against Josh? "I thought you would be better at rubbing wood." What did Josh do to upset Andy? Andy tells Josh she has cancer? That would explain her coldness all of a sudden. Josh is really upset, and I think he more than likes Andy. Lori wanders off into the tunnel that leads to the Zzyzx compound. I don’t like the "reprogrammed" Jessi. She seems like a time bomb waiting to go off. Amanda confronts Jessi about her feelings towards Kyle and she uses her psychic energy to bring down the blast doors and do other damage. Lori and Amanda seem to be trapped behind some blast doors. So, what do they do? They bond, while Kyle and Declan bond more. We keep jumping back to various periods in the past, before Kyle left Zzyzx. It seems that Kern wanted to use Adam’s work for defense department purposes and Kyle’s conscious refused. To make matters more complicated, the data that Madacorp wants are the files from the the Zzyzx mainframe computer, which somehow Kyle copied into his brain. Interesting concept, it reminds me a bit of Johnny Mnemonic. Kyle goes back and recovers something from Adam’s safe. What is in that box? Jessi is also having flashbacks. She goes to the "incubation" room and touches the Zzyzx logo that sets off a methane release, I guess like a self-destruct mechanism. Kyle feels that he must go rescue Jessi. Jessi is concerned about what she saw in the compound. Does Kyle realize that Jessi was made by Zzyzx also? I suspect the box will be a central theme of the next episode. As you all know, Lori was attacked in the last episode. When she wakes up in the morning, her father is sleeping in the room. Meanwhile, Lori asks Kyle “Do I speak with a British accent? No. Do I wear a crown? No. Then stop guarding my door like I’m Queen freaking Elizabeth”. I loved this exchange.I am wondering why they are writing Steven’s father into this episode if he is terminal. It doesn’t seem there would be a long drawn out story line. We find out that Steven and his father are estranged. Steven’s father is hooked up to a brain wave monitor and is supposed brain dead. Yet, while Steven is filling Kyle what happened between him and Kyle, all the lines on the monitor peek and Kyle gets a headache. Could, Steven’s father not actually be brain dead and is trying to communicate? Somehow, Kyle seemed to receive a picture of the church that Steven’s father led. Amanda goes with Kyle to the hospital to see Steven’s father. She is commenting on how cold the hospital is, Kyle thinks she is referring to the temperature, while Amanda is really talking about the overall feeling. That actually makes sense for Kyle, he still basically see things as black and white, while everyone else see shades of gray. While they are there, Steven shows up and asks what they are doing, they answer they are waiting to see if Steven’s father is trying to send a message. Steven doesn’t believe them, and then the monitor jobs, Kyle gets a headache. Kyle seems to be struggling to figure out the message his was given. The next morning, when he wakes up, he has rendered a whole scene on his bedroom wall. Given that Kyle draws by creating little dots on the page, a lot like a computer printer, how can he do that without waking the whole house up? Oh, the wall is covered by individual parts of the scene. Steven takes Kyle to the real room, where he grew up. We find out about the letter and that Steven is ready to try and reconcile with his father. Steven is trying to reconcile with his father, and hoping that Kyle gets a message. So, Kyle was able to communicate with Steven’s father, because they ultimately find the letter that Steven wrote to him, in the bible. Meanwhile, Declan believes Foss actually attacked Lori, especially after the warning picture he received. But who actually sent the picture: Jessi, Emily, or Foss? Jessi seems to be concerned with what Nicole is writing during her session. Why are Nicole’s notes about Jessi, whom is her patient, confidential? As far as I know, you always have the right to see your chart and doctor’s notes. Jessi is trying to recreate Nicole’s notes, when she does; she seems to have no reaction to the message. I am not sure if that would have been the way I would have reacted? To me, Jessi’s emotions seem to be very random. Finally, Jessi seems to be having an issue with Nicole’s thoughts about her, but the boss at Madacorp thing that Jessi is a computer with a glitch and to just bring her in to be reprogrammed. Emily wanted to quit the project, she was given time to reconsider it. Meanwhile, Madacorp sends Emily a message by picking up her daughter at school and dropping her at Emily’s mother’s house. I would say that is a pretty clear message. We know where you live; we know your loved ones. We are about half way through the season and I was expecting more interaction between Jessi and Kyle, more of a chase. I know that Jessi is supposed to have a dark side, so far it has only been hinted at and not really shown. So Jessi, attacked Lori for Declan necklace. Jessi is way too attached to Declan, almost stalker like attached. I am glad they gave Declan a new hair cut. But I am wondering if he is really over Lori, now that Kyle has spilled what is going on, Declan seems more interested in spending time with Lori again. How does Kyle know so much about what Amanda did with her father? I don’t remember them talking extensive about him, until this episode. Kyle and Amanda finally kiss and Kyle looks so relieved that he didn’t screw it up. Some random thoughts. It was great to see an episode that revoled around Kyle's interaction with Steven. Where was Andy? Why is she suddenly missing? You can find more Kyle XY videos in our Online Video Guide. I would like to thank everyone for being so forgiving about the length of time it took me to get this posting up.

The title alone brought back some memories of a great TV show and album from the '70s. It is Jessi’s first day at the same school as the gang, but she has some reluctance about going to school. There is a SADD exhibition at the school, and Josh is obsessing over the car that they are showing. He tried to swipe the radio out of the car. They should have better-integrated SADD into the story line of the episode, and not just had a five-second view of them in the background. Amanda brings Kyle flowers because he gave her a piano that he found. Then she asks Kyle out on a date to the Spring Fling dance. Watching Kyle tell Lori about the date was so classic. He was so clueless. Kyle is having a panic attack over his date with Amanda. Kyle finally tells Amanda that he likes her. Amanda tells Kyle she likes him, and they sort of cuddle on the love seat. Lori and Hilary decide they want to go to the dance together, using a couple ticket instead of two single tickets. They are denied entry, so Andi gets Kyle, Amanda and Lori to place protest flyers around the school, but they get caught by the principal. As a result, none of them can attend the dance. Andi comes up with the idea of having an alternative dance and getting Nicole to chaperone the dance. Everyone is psyched about the dance. Then Amanda tells Kyle her mom came home early and grounded her because of the flyer incident. We are at the dance, and Charlie makes an inappropriate comment to Lori and Hilary. They decide to kiss. The look on Charlie’s face... I swear he probably got off on it. Josh is cleaning up and finds Andi outside. I have this feeling that Andi is drunk, and then she tells Josh off. Josh is so stuck on Andi. Amanda sneaks out of the house to join Kyle at the dance. Lori is befriending Jessi and invites her over to the house after school. Meanwhile Lori and Nicole are discussing boundary issues surrounding Jessi. She wanders off and finds Kyle’s room and gets in his tub. Something draws Kyle out of Nicole’s office and to his room, where he finds Jessi. Kyle has this weird feeling after Jessi leaves his room. He notices the car radio that was in pieces has been repaired. How are Kyle and Jessi connected? ESP? Telepathy? During a make-out session with Declan, Jessi stops to ask him about Lori and Kyle being his friends. Emily walks in on them. Emily upsets Jessi, and her mind is short-circuiting the lights. When she tries to drag Jessi out of the dance, Jessi shorts out the lights, too. While Lori and Declan are cleaning up, they end up talking. Declan finally come cleans about Kyle and Lori being his only friends. Kyle finally decides to tell Declan his secrets. Declan shows Kyle the pictures that Foss supposedly sent. While Lori is taking out the garbage and throwing it in the dumpster, someone attacks her and knocks her out. I have this feeling it is Jessi. Jessi seems to be very concerned that Declan and Lori are still hooked on each other. Overall, I felt that this episode was very predictable. What do you guys think? The gang was in the cafe, each in his/her own world, except for Josh, who was working and talking to Kyle. I am glad to see that they have expanded to someplace besides the house. This episode seemed to revolve around flashbacks/visions that Kyle is having. It started when Andy mentioned the words "Remember this moment." Kyle saw Adam’s house, with the urn and a postcard. Right after the vision ended, Kyle sensed that something is not right. Then there was an earthquake, just as Jessi walks in. Kyle tryed to explain to Nicole what was going on, but he didn't seem to be getting through. Kyle also tried to explain to Foss what is happening. Foss gets mad that Kyle told Nicole. While looking through Adam’s things with Foss, Kyle touched a book and had another flashback. This time he saw Adam handing him a note. Kyle actually wrote the note while he was absorbed with the vision. Kyle zoned out to some music as he replayed his memories since the time he appeared in the forest. Kyle discovered that the book he touched has a CD hidden in it. He tried to play the CD but all it seemed to be is white noise. Eventually, Kyle realized he needed to play the CD while underwater. When he does, he hears Adam explaining some things. The whole point of the message is to study the past to see the future. Kyle wondered why Adam needed a cryptic CD to give him that message. While at open-mic night, Kyle realized that there is a hidden message in the sounds of the CD. The message is “Don’t trust Foss." Meanwhile, Josh and Andy tried to plan Josh’s first date. They sit in the car reviewing how Josh should act on his date. Did Andy have a sudden headache or was she just frustrated with Josh? The end result is that Josh gets stood up and goes on his first date with Andy. Kyle goes over to Amanda’s to consol her about the loss of the piano and the car. While sitting there, the postman delivers the mail to Amanda, and we see a pile of bills that are all marked “final notice.” Kyle also got the Tragers' mail, and he found the postcard he saw in his vision. He finds a piano while working with Foss and decides to fix it up for Amanda. You can find more Kyle XY videos in our Online Video Guide.

Finally a Foss-free episode. This episode was so much more interesting than last week's. It actually held my attention for most of the time. Someone breaks into Amanda’s house. Kyle knows that because he was working on bettering his hearing skills. Amanda’s mother really does not like Kyle. I know this started last season, but I still do not have a clear understanding as to what the root cause of that dislike is. Steven is bored and trying out Josh’s games. He tries multi-player gaming and uses Josh’s headset to see what keeps Josh so absorbed all of the time. He hears some interesting conversations. He is convinced that Josh is smoking pot and it turns out that his parents are his suppliers. I like to see them explain this to Josh. It does not go well, but Josh ends up getting grounded. However, Steven feels really bad about it. He tries to explain his reasoning to Josh. Meanwhile, Jessi arrives for her first session with Nicole, and it disrupts Kyle — he stops drawing because he can hear Jessi’s heartbeat. Jessi hears Kyle on the other side of the door. Kyle meets Amanda at the police station and they are talking about her stolen bracelet. Amanda seems very depressed. Her wish is for everything to go back to the way it was. One of the scenes of Kyle and Amanda in the police station waiting room reminds me of a scene from Men in Black. While Amanda could not identify the intruder, Kyle could: He recognized his heart beat. However, he is at a loss to figure out how to explain/identify the intruder to the police. Lori is trying to help Kyle win Amanda back by going on a stakeout with him to find the person that broken into Amanda’s house. They find someone while they are arguing over whether it is the correct house or not. The police did catch the guy, but he did not have Amanda’s bracelet. So, Lori and Kyle go off to visit pawn shops to see if they can find Amanda’s bracelet. It turns out that Amanda’s mother sold it to the pawn shop. Kyle trades the ring he got from Adam for Amanda’s bracelet. Amanda comes to thank Kyle for returning the bracelet. It seems that Amanda’s mom admitted she took the bracelet. It also seems that they are having financial troubles. Declan finally arrives to talk to Lori and pick up his stuff. While he is struggling to get the door open, Jessi walks over. He drops the contents of his box. Jessi helps him pick up his things and finally opens the door for him. It seems that Jessi is very taken with Declan. On a separate note, what do you think of the poll from last week? Should we do one each week? Should I do them every now and then? Should we skip them altogether? Please let me know. Sorry it has taken me so long to get this posted. I’ve had a busy few days at work. For those who don’t realize, I am not a full-time writer for TV Guide. I consider it a perk and I enjoy it, but my real job has a way of sometimes getting in the way.
At the start of the episode, Kyle is talking about how he needs to try to balance his life between the demands of Foss and the Tragers. We see him disappear very early to go run steps. Later on we see him walking over poles/boxes while carrying 200 pounds, then climbing something similar to a rock wall. Yes, all this stuff is important for physical fitness, but I am not sure what purpose that really has in “training” Kyle's body to match his mind. Kyle's abilities seem to be linked to stress, or adrenaline. When the adrenaline starts to flow, Kyle can do extraordinary things, like walk through fire without getting burned or making an impossible leap.
Steven's company was purchased all of a sudden, but he does not know by whom. Doesn’t that sound strange? Steven is out of a job. Which is odd — typically at his level, employees are given special contacts and incentives to stay at least for the transition period. It is interesting that supposedly they were all let go. Was it Madacorp, the firm that owns Zzyzx? That would make sense if they are trying to destabilize the Tragers and force them to have to let Kyle leave again.
The conversation about the car for Josh and Steve being out of work was fun. I picked up on it right away, and so did Kyle. Steven starts to worry about being like his father and breaking promises. Kyle reassures him that he is not like his father, and that he is a great father.
We are learning more about Foss’ past. His wife and daughter were killed by a drunk driver, and the driver was him. Kyle goes on to tell Foss that he knows when he is not being truthful.
Josh is obsessed with getting his first car and he is so not a car person. Five thousand horse power? Geez, he is such a geek. What is so cool about that car? That car must be as old as Steven. Maybe Josh is obsessing because he feels abandoned by his best friend Kyle.
Declan and Lori. Declan was there, he has things to say, but Kyle got in the way again. And Declan just had this overriding need to follow him to the abandoned warehouse where he is working with Foss and then do a Web search on Tom Foss. Yes, Declan is way obsessed with Kyle and Foss. Someone is watching Declan, but I do not think it is Foss.
Lastly, the song that Kyle plays is fantastic, but it is also very depressing.

My head was so not into this episode this evening. I have Bon Jovi on the brain. Sorry about that, gang. The other issue I have is that there are too many pieces that don't add up or make sense. I know that Kyle is filmed in Vancouver and that the show is supposed to take place in the PacWest. It is supposed to be the start of the school year (Aug/Sept). Why was it cold enough to wear coats and scarves? But I loved the beach scene. It actually makes me miss the time I spent out in that area. So Zzyzx is controlled by Madacorp. If Madacorp has the power to "reprogram" Jessi in one day, don't they have the same ability to get the information out of Kyle's head? I am trying to figure out what is up with Declan? He is in love with Lori and does not want to break up with her. But he does. Why? Is the secret that Kyle asked him to protect consuming him? Why didn't Lori try to talk to Declan sooner? Why did she need to be drunk to confront Declan? Why couldn't Kyle tell Amanda that Charlie was cheating on her? Even better, it seems the whole school knew, so why didn't Amanda know? I don't think Amanda is a person that everyone at school would like to see hurt in that very public way. Since when is War and Peace considered lite reading? At the end when Nicole is about to confront Kyle about the fire, I almost swear she is in love with him, and not in a maternial way. Find video from Kyle XY in our Online Video Guide.

I am not even sure where to start. Everyone is happy to see Kyle, especially Declan and Amanda. But what is up with Declan's hair? Why the massive highlights? Why is Declan so stressed out with the clues that Kyle left? It seems that besides Nicole, he had the worst case of Kyle withdrawal. I know a story was needed in order to get Kyle back with the Tragers, and I don't have an issue with the Petersons supposedly dying. But why vilify Adam by saying he kidnapped Kyle? I know they needed to account for the five-year gap, but how does making Adam the bad guy help? Now Nicole will want to help get over the trauma. Wouldn't it just be easier to say he still does not remember? What is up with Kyle when he gets emotionally upset? What type of power is he generating that can crack windows? How can Kyle and Jessi hear each other's heartbeats? If Jessi only saw Kyle from the side, how was she able to draw a picture of his face? It seemed too easy to capture Jessi. The camper did not have such an easy time — he ended up dead. Jessi seems to have all the same skills as Kyle — maybe a bit more developed — and it seems he has no sense of right and wrong. Yet the mercenary had no trouble finding and capturing Jessi. So what do you guys think? Find video from Kyle XY in our Online Video Guide.
