BEST MOMENTS

1) The Beatles Tribute
Goosebump city!

2) The Foo Fighters' outdoor concert
They rocked so hard, and frankly deserved more kudos than Rock Album of the Year.

3) Tina and Beyoncι
Even though Tina looked like a robot, she can move! And Beyoncι was a nice complement.

4) Kanye
His cool Tron number and moving tribute to his mama were very cool.

5) Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban
I can't believe I just wrote those names together, and under a Best Grammy Moments header... but there's nothing else to talk about!

WORST MOMENTS

1) John Fogerty, Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard
Sloppy, weird and embarrassing (in no particular order).

2) Alicia Keys and John Mayer
Alicia sounded squeaky, and John had the tiniest cameo at the end. What a disappointment.

3) Beyoncι's weird dance/talk intro to Tina Turner
What the hell was that?

4) Carrie Underwood
Bizarre set decorations clashed with one weird outfit for this overhyped number.

5) Amy Winehouse
Talk about sloppy. She looked like she was laughing half the time and reading cue cards, and she sang like crap. It was bizarre.

I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts in the comments! Thanks again for reading the blog tonight! — Erin Fox

Read Album of the Year
11:27: Hang on to your Kanyes! And the winner is... (Usher reminds Kanye there are no losers) the winner is HERBIE FREAKIN' HANCOCK! OMG... Kanye must be wiggin' hardcore. It's kind of satisfying. What a fitting end to a mediocre night.

Thanks for hanging with me this evening! Wow, what a bizarre night. Next up, my best/worst moments of the night.

Read Jerry Lee Lewis Scares Me, John Fogerty Wins Random Appearance Award
11:12: What the hell is John Fogerty doing on stage with Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard? My brain is about to explode.

Wow, I'm so freaked out by how old and decrepit Jerry Lee Lewis is. He can still play the piano, but damn is his timing and balance off. He looks like he'll fall over any minute. Someone help him!

Here comes Little Richard singing "Good Golly, Miss Molly," just in time! He's very understated in white and rhinestones, and a mullet to end all mullets. Awesome.

Read Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban
11:04: Watch the waterworks flow with this duet. Andrea and Josh sing together to honor Luciano Pavarotti and other fallen artists. Dear god, why must they sound so fabulous. I want to mock them, but they're too good. They're cheesy but their talent eclipses it.... Damn it!

Read Record of the Year
Read Amy Winehouse - We Want the Grammys Back
10:40: The first song, "Trouble," isn't bad, but once she segues into "Rehab," Miss Winehouse gets all sorts of crappy — her voice cracks and goes off key. Her Barbra Streisand mating with Elvira look is really hard to take seriously. She cracks up every time she sings the word "rehab." It's painful all the way around. I want her Grammys back.

Read Zzzz... Oops, Another Country Award
10:20: Vince Gill won Best Country Album. At least it wasn't Carrie Underwood.

10:27: Dueling pianists lead an orchestra playing "Rhapsody in Blue." So awesome.

10:34: Rap Collabo win: Rihanna and Jay Z for "Umbrella!" They are so dope I can't even handle it. The stage is imploding from their dopeness.

Read Stevie Wonder Wants to Be Alicia Keys!
10:09: Stevie introduces Alicia Keys by singing her chorus. Kind of scary, kind of fascinating. What are you wearing, Alicia? Can I please be your stylist for one day? And why are you screeching this catchy tune? Did you forget to warm up because you had to put your hair in that faux hawk? Advice: This hair is much better, but the mini and plastic-looking leggings aren't doing it for you. At all. Like, burn them.

Oooo, John Mayer just arrived with his wicked guitar skills and goofy facial expressions. Now they're singing together. I can't hear John! I feel robbed.

Read Best Rock Album
10:03: Yay, Foo Fighters! How cute is shaggy Dave Grohl? How awesome is this band? OK, I'll stop drooling now. And, he dedicated the award to his daughter Violet. OMG. If I could, I'd throw some underwear on stage. Totally kidding. This time.

Read Feist... Huh?
9:59: OK, I love the little ditty from the iPod commercials, but Feist (who is just one girl, and a willow of one at that), can barely fill a microphone let alone the huge Grammy stage. It's kind of lame and simple. I'm scratching my head at why she's here as a four-time nominee right now. Go figure.

10:00: Keely Smith comes out with Kid Rock, and after she says, "I'll do anything you want me to do" (wink wink... ew), they begin a weird duet of "Black Magic." This is so random and awful. I'm going to my happy place now.

Read Kanye Beats Down the Producers
9:37: Kanye wins for Best Rap Album, but goes off on the producers when they try to play his obnoxious cocky butt off the stage. It was awkward to say the least. I can only imagine what he'll do when he does/doesn't win album of the year. Take off the Disneyland black-light shades, Kanye.

9:40 Gospel singers and a frighteningly large Aretha Franklin get everyone clapping and swaying to the music. I'm jumping around in my chair. Go, girl! Sing it!

Read Brad Paisley
Read Foo Fighters Rock My World
9:28: I don't care what you say, Mom and Dad! I'm going to marry Dave Grohl when I grow up! I won't turn my music down! Wait... he's already married! Nooooo!

OK, enough of that. The Foos rock so hard, and the My Grammy Moment chick gets to play with a large orchestra alongside the rock band. It's an odd yet effective combo.

Insert me headbanging at my computer.

Read Beyonce and Tina Duet and Song of the Year
9:10: This was actually impressive with all the big wheels turning, and Proud Mary's burning. Beyonce, dancers and, of course, Tina rocked that b--ch.

9:14: Andy Williams, Nelly Furtado and Rosalyn (why are you here) Sanchez award Amy Winehouse's "Rehab" with Song of the Year. Not a shocker, but I was kinda hoping for a surprise like Corinne Bailey Rae's "Like a Star." Oh well.

Read Cher's Bag Lady Look, Beyonce's Hotpants, Tina's Robot Dress
9:04: Cher, looking like a glamorous bag lady, introduces Beyonce, who wears an awful pair of hotpants while she does a weird dance/music intro for Tina Turner. By the way, when the hell did Tina turn into a stiff metallic robot that looks constipated? At least she still sounds good....
