Krista and Adam
Like last season, Krista and I decided to have a little post-winner crowning chat about the finale episode and the season in general. Below is our conversation. We have so enjoyed blogging this season and want to thank all of you for your very active participation. Share all your final thoughts (and questions for Memphis and Dan) in the comments. We'll see you next time! — AdamAdam: Dan!!! Was there ever any doubt? Krista: No there wasn't! I thought it was pretty obvious after the jury questioning. Though, after Ollie was ousted I thought he'd never win, but it really turned for him in the end. Adam: A well-deserved win in my opinion. Krista: People were impressed with his play. You are right — well deserved! 7-0: That was a bit surprising. Adam: Yeah, but again, it make sense I think. Could April have been more a mouthpiece for Memphis before the interrogation? Krista: I know, she has him by the short ones. She looked like she was summoning Catwoman in that outfit when they were questioning the Final 2. I thought she was going to vote for Memphis because he screwed Keesha. Adam: Haha. I thought she was just sticking up for Ollie, but I guess it was to get back at Keesha. That's more her style. Krista: She was sticking up for him, though. Dan did stab him pretty good. It is kind of nice that she feels like defending him. Adam: What about Renny finally calling out "chauvanist pig" Jerry? Krista: I'm glad Renny finally called him out on his behavior...and so did Steven. I'm also glad he called out Michelle and April for their immature behavior. Adam: Yeah, and their reaction was like, "What?" Typical. Krista: What about the jury prize? Sort of feel bad for Jerry? Adam: I have to say, I think it was all because of you that Keesha won. Krista: Hahaha! If that were true, I'd be the happiest spiteful gal on the East Coast. Adam: I did feel a little bad for Jerry coming in second. I didnt like his attitude a lot of the time, but you have to give him some credit for sticking in there as long as he did, for a man of his age. Krista: Absolutely! And they all were annoyed by him, which made it even more incredible that they kept him around. His wife could really use the money, so that is sort of upsetting. He'll get a nice lump from his stipend though, so I hope that will do him some good. Adam: Was Renny in rare form tonight or what? First she took forever to get down the catwalk, and then that speech! I felt like I was watching Russell Brand at the VMAs again. Krista: She is a riot! My zany Renny...she looked great, but I was definitely screaming at her to walk quicker! Her speeches never made sense to me, and this one was no different. Adam: I think my favorite part of the jury interrogation was Dan and Memphis' shocked looks at each other when the jury revealed things they didn't know. Although I though it was crappy of Michelle to make it her sole goal to air the dirty laundry. Krista: I know! I thought Dan would have told Memphis about taking Michelle, and it was funny how quickly Dan's neck snapped when Michelle revealed her alliance with Memphis. Michelle is petty...we saw that the whole season. Adam: Of course. Who could forget the leo-tahhhhhd? Krista: Oh, God yes! I won't be missing that accent anytime soon Krista: I'm glad they showed that Dan was America's Player. I almost forgot about that. Adam: I had to laugh, because I remember Brian saying Dan should take his 20 grand and get the hell out. And he turned it around and won it all! I guess the mad genius was wrong about that one. Krista: Yeah, that and everything else! Adam: Hahaha Krista: Keesha looked sad at the end, didn't you think? She didn't looked shocked that she won America's Favorite Juror. I think she was very overwhelmed. April looked peeved so that's all I cared about! Adam: Yeah, maybe she felt bad for Jerry, too. (I doubt it.) Krista: Hahaha! Adam: Now, I think you and I disagree on this one. Renegades vs. Chilltown: Who's better? Krista: Still Chilltown...but it's all Will. Adam: I don't know. I love Chilltown (mostly Will), but they never made it to the Final 2 together. I'd say that's a pretty big accomplishment, and they had two shots at it. Krista: True...the Renegades may be the stronger team but will never be as fun to watch! Adam: This is true. Those dual diary room sessions are classic. Krista: I could watch them every season. Adam: I honestly am ready for another All Atars...am I lame? Krista: No! I want an All Stars too. It should be every 3rd or 4th season. Adam: As long as no one from Season 9 is on it! Krista: Season 9 should be like the lost season on Dallas...it was all a dream! Krista: I wonder what happened to those people. Is James still alive? Adam: He's probably biking through the Adirondacks. Krista: In knee-highs and short shorts! Adam: And somewhere Matt is ignoring Natalie's phone calls. Krista: Oh, he was in the audience tonight with Adam. I saw Jen and Nick and Zack and Veto King James. Adam: I also saw Bunky. Krista: Bunky will never die...much like his chronic back hair syndrome. He's sweet though, so it's ok! Adam: Ok, so time to complain, and maybe BB will hear us. Krista: Ok, go! Adam: Stop with the recaps! I say it every blog. They are just torture! Krista: I know! Adam: 7 minutes of jury reveal time lost. If they must have them, they should at least extend the finale to 90 minutes. Krista: I have always said the finale is way too short. I want more reveals, more screaming. They didn't even talk to Angie! Adam: Poor Angie. It was Just like her season, really. She only spoke up when she was talking to Julie. Krista: She really got the short end of the stick, and she was always listed as "recent divorcee." That's so strange. She was a ghost. Adam: If I was on the show, I would like to be listed as Recent Blogger. Krista: I want mine to say snarky TV reviewer. Adam, we should really be on it. We could be the secret pair. Adam: So, what have you heard about the possibility of another winter Big Brother? Krista: That's what I read on Mortystv.com. That would be fantastic! It couldn't be worst than the last winter edition. Adam: Well, I will say I have talked to CBS, and they are being very tight-lipped. Maybe too tight-lipped. Krista: Look at you, all "in the know". Tight-lipped means it's so on! Adam: Nothing's official, but TVGuide.com will let everyone know as soon any announcement is made. Krista: Where else would people look for important information? Keep it right here everyone! Adam: Do you have a favorite moment of the season? Krista: Jerry falling in the pool. Adam: Cheater...you stole mine... Krista: Hahaha! We can share it. And April getting kicked out on her nasty behind. Adam: How long until April realizes she's become a YouTube sex queen? Krista: Hopefully she's already crying somewhere in utter shame... Adam: Since you took Jerry's pool fall, I'll give a tie to Brian's puppet show and Dan's Renny impression. Krista: Good call on the puppet show. That was classic! Adam: Oh, and Ollie's fear of "Albert Hitch-hock's" birds. Krista: Yes! I like Ollie and hope he gets over his fear of birds and finds a nice young woman to get involved with for real. Adam: Final thoughts on this season? Krista: It was a huge step up from Season 9 and I was very pleased with the houseguests and the turmoil in the house. it was a competitive season and I'm salivating for BB11. Adam: Yeah, definitely a lot better that BB9. And honestly, this season was a gameplayer's season. Even the floaters had some shining moments. It was drama-, sex-, and backstabbing-filled. Just the way Big Brother should be! Krista: I couldn't have said it better myself. And as always, it's been a pleasure working with you. And big thanks go out to the loyal posters for making it so much fun. I truly enjoy it. Adam: For real, the posters were blowing it up this season. And I was so happy to see we brought in some new faces. I honestly feel like we should keep the blog alive in some form between now and next season so the "sewing circle" can keep me entertained. Krista: Indeed! A great bunch of people. Adam: Well, I'll make one last plea for questions. I will be speaking to Memphis and Dan tomorrow, so if anyone has a burning question, let me know, and I'll try to work it in. In the meantime, it's been my (guilty) pleasure to cover the show for you all, and I cant wait to see you guys back next season. Hopefully this winter! Krista: Ask Memphis to send me that picture of him with the sunglasses...Hahaha. j/k Adam: You're totally not kidding. Krista: You're right. I'm totally not. Tell him to call me! See you soon, everyone!

What would this highlight episode have in store? That was my question before this episode of BB started. Would the highlights match-up with what I felt were highlights? Would the new clips entertain me? Would anything be funnier than Jerry falling in the pool? I doubt it, but let's find out. The episode began with — shocker — another lengthy recap of the past episode and then a celebratory dinner for the final two: Memphis and Dan. They basically patted themselves on the back for being Will & Boogie wannabes and making it that far. I only say that because I've seen people on various BB sites referencing them and comparing the Renegades to BB's most well-known duo. If we were to compare them — who would be Will and who would be Boogie? Dan was most Will-like during the season but I wouldn't dare put Memphis in the Boogie category. That's probably worse than calling him a womanizer... Speaking of that very hostile moment, here are some other moments that made it to the highlight reel: • April's boobs are real! April asked Jerry to feel her boobs to prove they were real. This only served as a reminder to me that April was a real piece of work. • Jerry rapped! He also tried to dance like what he thought a rap person would dance like. This was pretty comical. • Operation Buh-Bye Brian. This was only on Day 5 but I must say it was a very pivotal moment of the game. If Brian played better in the beginning and stayed, this season would have been different. Also, Renny would have been gone and that would have been sad because I really enjoyed her. We then got a replay of Brian's sock puppet theater. I forgot how hilarious that was. Ollie's puppet was just a black sock and April's had two big boobs. So wrong. So funny. • Renny can't open the door. This sole moment of idiocy on Day 1 gave us the first face-off between Jesse and Renny. The animosity between those two never faded. • Renny the comedian. We saw an entertaining clip of Renny impersonating all the houseguests. Not only was it funny, Memphis said it showed how observant she was and how that helped her in the game. Then we saw Dan come out in one of Renny's feather boa get-ups and it was very hilarious. I was glad they replayed the time zone debate. She got so mad at Dan and he was right the whole time. Ah, Zany Renny. • Dan teased Keesha...all the time. Ok, until I saw this clip I didn't realize the flirty relationship these two had. Dan smashed food in her face, scared her and disturbed her in the shower. Now I get why he gave her a duck with the word "hot" on it before she left the house. He totally dug her. I bet his girlfriend sent the Taken t-shirt as a reminder to him because she was watching this on the feeds. All will be forgotten if he takes home the $500,000 I'm sure! • Jesse stirs the pot. Jesse tried to save himself from eviction by causing a fight between April, Keesha and Libra just before they sang a pathetic Happy Birthday to Keesha. That may have been the most awkward moment in the house. • Variety Hour. A mock late night talk show, complete with costumes from Renny, was a great distraction from the boredom for the houseguests and a load of laughs for us. Memphis as a gay stylist: priceless. • Swim Club. Dan attempted to teach both Ollie and Renny how to swim. It looked like they both learned something, so that was nice. • Michelle "avenges" Jesse. This was when I started disliking Michelle. Libra and Keesha went against their word and voted out Jesse (smart move) and right after that Michelle won HOH and went around like a jerk rubbing it in their faces. There was also a great moment when April and Libra got in each other's faces. I think April is slime but I have to hand it to her for that because Libra was not only bigger but extremely intimidating. The Jury Prize: I encourage you all to vote for who you want to win. However, before you do lend me your ear. America's Choice has served us fans well in the past. I've always seen it as a way for us fans to send a message to the houseguests to clue them in on what we were thinking. Classic Example: Janelle won every AC because America despised the Friendship and we wanted them to know we were on her side. They finally got the message when Janelle won a phone call from Mike (a previous houseguest she kissed) and a weepy Friendship realized that if America didn't want them to talk to their families that we must be pretty mad. That being said, although I think Renny should win the prize I am going to ask you all to vote for Keesha. Not because she deserves it, but because this would really send April (and possibly even Michelle) through the roof. It's merely a suggestion and I know it is spiteful, but it's also fun and that's what matters! Forget the jury prize. Who will win the grand prize? Share your predictions and your thoughts on the highlight show below. What were your favorite moments? Don't forget to check back here Tuesday for the finale and for a joint recap from Adam and I about the winner, the season, and the rumors that BB11 will be this winter. Well, gang, it's been a long 66 days, but we've made it to the Final 2. After a predictable and pretty thrill-less final HOH competition, the final jury member was set when the new HOH sent him packing, sealing the deal for the two remaining houseguests. Who pulled out the win and who got the boot? Let's find out! As one would expect, Jerry didn't last very long in the first leg of the HOH competitions. Endurance just isn't an older man's game, unfortunately for Jerry. But it couldn't have worked better for the Renegades, who we learned were very much still aligned, despite Dan overplaying (yes, I agree with Memphis) of his anger over Keesha's eviction. But the plan had Jerry fooled, so I guess it was working pretty well. With Jerry out of the way, Memphis held on for a good while to give the appearance he wasn't throwing the competition, before ultimately falling off, giving Round 1 of the HOH battle to Dan. Dan got his bye to the final round, so Memphis and Jerry faced off in a boxing-themed mental and physical challenge that involved "punching out" the incorrect houseguests, leaving only the HOH and final nominees standing in each of 10 rounds, one for every eviction. (Again, I found it hilarious that Big Brother used a rip-off of "Eye of the Tiger" — and a rather bad one, at that — rather than the real deal.) Memphis and Jerry both got off to a decent start, and both had some missteps, especially Jerry. But I never would have guessed that he was out in the back yard for nearly an hour! That's right, Memphis slaughtered Jerry with a time of 8:53 to 51:22. Jerry was embarrassed (rightfully so), and I was embarrassed for him as the camera inexplicably stayed on him in his underwear after the competition. Before we got down to the final competition, we were treated to Keesha's entrance into the jury house, and the reaction of the other evictees. As expected, Renny was thrilled to see her (if sad that she lost the game) while Michelle and April were their usual catty (and classless) selves. (Anybody else notice that April and Ollie were missing from the card game? Those two are animals!) Michelle tried to drop the "Dan took me on a trip" bombshell, but Keesha quickly revealed that she already knew. While her actions suggest that she knows Dan had his part to play in her eviction ( read more about her thoughts in my interview with Keesha), she and Michelle both agreed that Dan is playing a really smart game. Looks like his plan might be coming together! So Dan and Memphis go head-to-head in a glorified guessing game. (Those "how did the houseguests finish this sentence?" games always have some answers I just find odd, so it's tough to predict. It was tight for most of the six rounds, but in the end, Dan pulled away to win his third and final HOH. Being a fan of Dan's for most of this season, I was glad to know that he had secured his place in the finals, and quickly wondered if any shenanigans were about to go down. (I had previously worried that Memphis might flip on Dan, though I didn't think Dan would do that to Memphis). And he didn't, as he quickly sent Jerry out to meet Julie. For what it's worth, I never really hated Jerry, but I did think his Judas speech was uncalled for. I feel a little bad for him making it so close only to go away empty handed. (Though I think he might win America's favorite, since t hey already gave him a call from his wife. Call me crazy!) I give him credit for hanging in there with the young crowd, when I completely expected him to be gone about four weeks ago. But Jerry was smarter than many gave him credit for, and he is on to Dan and Memphis' alliance, despite it being pretty obvious at this point. As for the Renegades, I was disappointed that they didn't whip out the bandannas until after Jerry was out of the house. I know they talked about the reveal in earlier episodes, so I was expecting some sort of "moment." Also, though I did worry that Memphis might flip on Dan, I believe Dan should have lost the last competition to make Memphis again be the bad guy by "betraying" his deal with Jerry. I think Dan's rationale to play up the fact that Memphis never won HOH is decent, but I think Memphis can turn that rationale in his favor by showing that he made moves in the house, without ever being in power (a la Dr. Will.) Plus, Jerry would have left with a sour taste in his mouth against Memphis, not Dan. I still think Dan will be our winner, though. Memphis rode a lot of coattails and made and broke several deals, while Dan has won competitions and played a tough, smart game. So, what do you think of the Final 2? Who do you hope pulls it out? If you have questions for Jerry, pop 'em in the comments and I will try to ask them tomorrow. As we inched closer to the finale, tonight we saw another houseguest sent packing. Who won the power of veto and how did that play into the eviction? And what happened on Dan's day out of the house with jury member Michelle? Let's find out. It seemed Dan and Memphis' plan to put doubt in Dan and Keesha's mind worked wonderfully, as both Keesha and Jerry were invigorated by the possibilities of what that nomination "could" mean. Dan and Memphis were also quite proud of themselves, but were focused on the veto competition, despite feeling confident that even without Memphis winning the POV that Keesha (because of her loyalty to Dan) and Jerry (because of his Final 2 deal with Memphis) would both vote to keep Memphis in the house, should he remain on the block. Before the competition, Dan slipped on his blindfold and headed to the helicopter for his day on the beach with Michelle. I have to applaud Dan's choice, especially considering some of the terrible things Michelle said about Dan after he backdoored her. He might not be able to completely sway her, but in his situation, it was clearly the best choice. Michelle did seem a little shocked (and less than thrilled, at first) that it was Dan who had invited her out. She saw straight through his plan to woo a vote from her, but was also impressed by his honesty regarding who else in the house knew/supported her being backdoored. After a nice meal and a dip in the ocean, the two seemed to be getting along well enough, and it seemed Michelle that might be willing to give Dan a vote and even campaign for him. Time will tell if she actually gets that chance and if she follows through. Then came the moment of truth: the most important POV competition of the season. Tonight's game required the houseguests to place evicted players' names between two clues that described them. Keesha was out to keep herself safe, while Jerry and Memphis were struggling to pull themselves off the block. Dan returned to old form, throwing the competition, but this time I agreed with his reasons. Guaranteed his place in the Final 3, he didn't want to have a hand in evicting anyone, and he particularly wanted Memphis to win the POV so he would finally "get some blood on his hands." Keesha started out strong, Jerry floundered (shocker), but Dan was flying through the game. Once he was only 2 questions away, he slowed down, noticing that Memphis had caught up and was closest to him. He kept purposely putting the wrong answer until Memphis finally won out a neck-and-neck race between him and Keesha, earning the POV and making himself the deciding vote for the live eviction. Everything was going to plan, right? Indeed it was, until Memphis and Dan realized that keeping Jerry, while not a popular move, was probably the smartest play in order for the Renegades to make the Final 2. I have to say, I played this scenario out in my head, but I really thought everyone was so sick of Jerry that the boys would honor their alliance with Keesha. (Though, Jerry is definitely a weaker competitor to face in the final HOH). However, Keesha did not feel safe, and for good reason! When she confronted Dan and Memphis, they couldn't give her a straight answer, which basically justified her fears. What followed wasn't a complete meltdown, but it became obvious that Keesha was going to get a raw deal, and she let Memphis hear it, promising he would not get her vote and that she would campaign against him. Dan, in perhaps his most cowardly move all season (though granted it was also smart) played to Keesha as though he was not involved. Based on the edit we saw, Dan didn’t make any objections, but he certainly was putting all the blame on Memphis, even saying he was begging him to keep her. (If we had lost some of that recap early in the show, perhaps we would know how Dan really felt about Memphis' decision and if it affected their alliance at all. (If so, things might be looking up for Jerry!) Keesha's "save me" speech before the eviction proved how far she had distanced herself from Memphis and how close she had become to Dan. When Memphis made his vote official, Dan told Keesha about his day out with Michelle, and sent her out to Julie with a "hot" rubber ducky (or something similar). The most interesting thing was Dan saying to Memphis "If you think I'm taking you, you're out of your mind." Was that a show the Renegades had worked up to throw Jerry off, or did Memphis' decision to evict Keesha really create a rift? Of course the show ended with the beginning of the endurance leg of the three-part HOH, so we don't know who has the early lead in the final competition. But the person who lucked out the most from tonight's events is Jerry. He has somehow survived all the way to the Final 3, and with some stroke of luck, could win HOH. (Not betting on it, but who knows?) Also, if Dan and Memphis are still aligned, Dan should really start considering how loyal Memphis is to him. After all, he still has a Final 2 deal with Jerry, which he might decide to honor at the last minute. I honestly think taking Jerry to the end would be a mistake for either player, despite how jury members might feel about Jerry's behavior. I think he would get a "he might have been a floater, but he floated to the end" type of strategy vote. The Renegades are better off playing it together to the end, if the Renegades even still exist. So, who do you want to see win HOH? And who should be in the Final 2? What do you make of Dan's words with Memphis — for show or for real? Were you shocked to see Keesha evicted? Who do you think will win it all? A sumo wrestler, a luxury competition that will "change the game" and Dan's nominations: this was sure to be a jam-packed Sunday episode. What clue will the sumo wrestler unveil? How exactly would this luxury competition change the game? I hope it's not a big build up to nothing special. Will Judas Dan flip the house with his nominations? Let's find out! We picked up in the aftermath of Renny's eviction and Dan explained that she was too likeable to keep around. I see that point. Keesha, of course, got a little misty at the thought of her friend leaving but she should really have been thanking her lucky stars that the boys didn't vote her out. At least not that week... ...This week is another story. Dan is HOH and as Memphis reminded us, Dan has been known to do some wacky stuff. His reign definitely had Jerry and Keesha concerned and even Memphis didn't know what Dan would come up with. Will he put his bro on the block again? So we learned that the gibberish the sumo wrestler was saying wasn't gibberish after all. He said, "I am sitting on the information you need." Yikes! I wouldn't want to touch what was under his butt. Seriously — did you see the zits on his thighs? Gross. Get that guy some Neutrogena Body Wash. I nominate Jerry to pull it out. However, since the houseguests had no idea what he was saying, they just sat around and stared until sumo guy rose to show them an envelope he was sitting on. Finally, Dan pulled the envelope out and they learned that getting the envelope launched the luxury competition and that one of them would win a trip out of the house and it could change the game. Hmmmm. After the sumo hoopla subsided, the big three talked about how it was going to suck having Jerry around and Keesha asked if they would make it to the final three. Dan assured her that unless Jerry wins POV they would. I absolutely think she is a goner if she doesn't win but I'm getting ahead of myself. However, Keesha also seemed to feel that way and she confessed in the diary room that with Renny gone she is alone against the boys. Jerry worked on Memphis and told him the jury said they would vote for a woman in the end. I don't know where he got that tidbit of info but it at least reiterated the point that the boys had a choice to make: Jerry or Keesha in the final three? Next we saw the back yard covered with strange objects and a gorilla went into the house and woke up all the houseguests. When the gorilla went into the diary room, we learned the gorilla was Jesse and I instantly remembered why I was glad he was voted out. Dan filled the houseguests in on the objects: they needed to use the clues to come up with a common phrase that could be useful in the house. They had 3 hours and 3 guesses each and they were warned that some of the clues were misleading, which surely meant they were just there to screw them up. Clues were slowly covered up and that meant those clues weren't needed to solve the puzzle. Jerry and Keesha used a few guesses early but Dan waited until there were 2 items left (a blueberry and an egg with the word "it" on it) and made his first guess: bury the hatchet. His strategy of waiting until he was sure paid off as it was the right guess. His prize was a helicopter trip to a remote island beach for a day. Heavenly! Now the twist was actually a pretty good one. He could take someone with him and it could be a current houseguest or someone from the jury house. That could be huge as I'm sure he could sway a vote his way. He decided to take Michelle because he thought since Libra stole** a trip from her this would be a great way to get her vote. Dan decided to tell the houseguests he chose to go alone as to not create animosity among the houseguests and that was a pretty smart move. What will Monica think of him alone on a beach with a single woman? He better pack his lame-o Taken shirt. **I just want to reiterate that Libra did not steal a trip from Michelle. She won it fair and square. Maybe it wasn't nice, but it wasn't stealing. It really bothers me that people think that. Earlier in the show Memphis said he'd be mad if Dan nominated him again, but after a talk in the HOH the boys decided it would be a smart move to cover up their alliance and hopefully reassure Keesha. If Keesha didn't feel the pressure of the block, she may not compete hard enough in the Veto. However, if Jerry won and it was between Keesha and Memphis, Dan could lose his ally. With so many possibilities after the Veto, nominations were the least of anyone's worries. In the end, Keesha's key was the only one in the box and Memphis and Jerry were on the block. Maybe their plan worked as Jerry definitely was surprised by it and Keesha was excited as well thinking this meant Dan would want to keep her over Memphis. These guys are smarter than I thought! Or maybe Jerry and Keesha are pretty gullible. But will the boys be able to stay together? We'll have to wait until the Veto and don't forget that Tuesday is a special live episode and eviction. Share your thoughts below and stop back here Tuesday to discuss the final three! See you soon! — KristaFor more Big Brother drama, check out our Online Video Guide.

We're getting down to it ya'll! After tonight's eviction, we'll have our final four. Can Memphis keep his deals with everyone a secret? How big will the explosion be if he is exposed? And will we get jury house footage? For the love of God please! Let's get to recappin'. Dame Julie, already dressed for her weekend safari excursion, set the stage for the evening and then we were zapped back to the Veto meeting and Renny's replacement nomination. Renny blamed Memphis and accused him of wanting to split her and Keesha up. Well duh, Renny. It's the end game and splitting up alliances is sort of the point. Jerry felt blindsided by Memphis' action and said it made him feel alone. Did he ever feel that he was with someone? I'd like to know when that was because I think he was an outcast since day one! Jerry tried to reach out to Keesha and tried to clue her in to Memphis' loyalty to Dan. He claimed he was her only chance at the money and I don't know how she kept a strait face through it all. He may be right about Dan and Memphis, but she'd never win over Jerry. Right? Regardless, everybody's best bet for an end partner is Dan. No one really likes him. Jerry also tried to clue Dan (his Judas!) in on Memphis' plan on wanting Dan at the end only because he knew he could beat him. Jerry was also right about that, but as I said above, everyone can beat Dan. I'm not a huge Keesha fan, but I'd like to see her win HOH and put up the boys. There was a weird moment with Keesha and Renny. Their relationship is very sweet and I realize that they are very close, but Renny waxed poetic about life and then looked Keesha dead in the eye and said, "I want you to be a mother. You'd be a beautiful mother." It was obvious their bond was deep, but something about that exchange made me uneasy. Maybe it was because there was a close-up of Renny all done up in one of her wacky wig ensembles or maybe it was that Keesha didn't seem to find that an out-of-the-blue comment. It could also just be me. Tonight's mushy segment was on Memphis and we got to meet his girlfriend Ashley (yawn) but then we saw a hot and I mean scorching picture of a young pumped up Memphis without a shirt and sunglasses and a belly tattoo that made me want to tug on his shorts and see if it went any lower. Yeah I said it. And I'd do it too. Someone get me into that finale! I'm so glad they replayed Jerry falling into the pool! I wanted to comment on it but thought it would be old news. I never laughed so hard in my life. And to be honest, I wasn't even watching the Tuesday episode (hello, 90210 was on!) but I happened to switch during a commercial and it seemed I saw the best part! Best moment ever! Hi-oooooooh! We have jury house footage. We first saw Libra alone and lounging in the pool hoping to see April. See! I knew sending April would be a great gift for my girl! Then the girls awaited their next houseguest and it was Michelle screaming about how she was back-doored. Not even 2 seconds in the house and she was already complaining! In typical bitter b**ch fashion, Michelle and April both bashed Keesha and made fun of her growing backside. I hate these two. I hate them and now more than ever I want Keesha to win. Shortly after Michelle was done complaining, Ollie busted in and April said it was bittersweet. I sort of like Ollie and I want him away from that barracuda. And that's all the footage we got. With the exception of Libra, I'm satisfied with the jury thus far. I hope Dan and Keesha are the last two just to spite Michelle, April and Ollie. It might be time to cross my fingers and toes. Eviction time saw Renny being ousted by a vote of 2-0, not that it was a big surprise for anyone. I'm sure Renny knew it was coming. I will miss her zany ways. Before the commercial, we learned that the next HOH competition would require some sort of memory about images the houseguests were shown on the memory wall and on screen during the show. As the houseguests went outside, we saw the familiar set-up of the Final 4 HOH competition where the 3 eligible to play are on different sides of a wall and have to step forward or backward to answer a question. It's the same set-up every year and I never see it coming. This HOH is huge, yet not as huge as the final Veto later this week. That person will be the 1 vote on eviction night so anything can happen. Keesha really blew this competition. Did she even look at the pictures? It was very embarrassing. I'm always amazed how every season there is a houseguest who blows these competitions. My face would have been all up in those pictures memorizing every detail. So Dan beat Memphis by one point and was the new HOH. Then we saw that a huge Sumo wrestler was waiting in the living room as a clue for a luxury competition. What was he mumbling? Tune in Sunday for nominations, but we all know that really means nothing. This week the Veto is everything. I cannot wait until Tuesday! Dame Safari Julie told us it would be a special live show with a live Veto ceremony and eviction. Then next Thursday we'll know the final HOH. Quite a week ahead of us! We're getting close to crunch time, folks! With only 14 days between tonight's episode and the finale, it's time strategy become every houseguest's focus. At least one houseguest is thinking that way. Let's find out who! As Jerry noted at the nomination ceremony, all of the power this week lies with the POV winner, making tonight's competition crucial. Dan and Keesha played out a couple of scenarios that involved cutting Renny loose, but both wondered if either of the other houseguests had struck a deal with Jerry. (I wonder if Dan knows how Memphis was able to secure not being nominated this week and is just saying this to throw Keesha off.) Either way, we know Memphis has definitely struck a deal with Jerry, but if he did win the POV, how would his new deal affect his actions? Memphis is no dummy and made serious efforts to talk things through with all there of his "final" two alliances (Jerry, Keesha and Dan). While he was able to keep everyone happy and unaware, he was unsure what he would so with the veto as he headed into the veto competition. But before we get there, let's take a moment to reflect on the comic relief/filler of tonight's episode. Dan played the old copycat game on Renny as a way to get under her skin. (Anyone have flashbacks to Eric in Season 8? No wonder they think he's America's Player.) The interactions between Dan and Renny have been fun, but Dan confessed that he also wanted to mess with Renny's head by putting her on edge all the time. And even though she was joking, I was sort of scared when she went for the chokehold on Dan. You never know what Renny is thinking. (Dan also got a little spanking from Renny tonight.) And, of course, Jerry's tumble into the pool was hilarious. I guess I feel bad that he probably hurt himself in the process, but that stuff is always good for a laugh. (Why else is America's Funniest Home Videos still on the air?) I was glad to see Jerry be able to laugh at himself, though. But nothing was funnier sadder than Renny's pathetic outing in the POV competition. It was the annual "guess the faces in the mixed houseguest photo" game, this time asking the players to identify the two "parents" of the mash-up baby pictures. (Too bad there wasn't one of April and Ollie!) Renny clocked in the worst time, but mostly because she refused to put Jerry's name up for one particular photo, despite thinking it was him based on the bald head. "His lips aren't that thin"? Come on, Renny! The competition had its other moments, such as Jerry wisely suggesting the houseguests not mate (again, insert your own "Too late for Ollie and April" joke here), Memphis comparing one photo "something you'd see in Deliverance in the backwoods" and Keesha calling her mash-up with Steven a gorilla. Ultimately, all the times were revealed, and most of the houseguests blew away Renny's 20+ minute time. But Dan and Memphis ran away with the competition, finishing well ahead of Jerry's eight- and Keesha's five-minute efforts, with Memphis earning the POV with a time only 8 seconds faster than Dan. Memphis then again started playing out scenarios and talking with his three individual "alliances." I've always seen his deal with Jerry as total BS, since he knows Jerry will be on the block next week, unable to compete for HOH. But Memphis played it smart, making his decision to possibly remove Dan and get rid of Renny seem in his best interest without actually tanking their deal. (Though Jerry definitely wanted Dan out, so how much would he trust Memphis?) Keesha was less wary of the idea of taking down Dan, though not because she was loyal to Renny. Her concern was mostly out of paranoia that Dan would flip and vote to keep Renny over herself. Dan, of course, loved the notion of coming off, and planned the Renegades "revealing ceremony," though he made Dan promise that he would not nominate him if he won HOH the following week, and that he would definitely take him to the final two. So with all this build up, Memphis called the houseguests into the living room for the ceremony, and when it was wrapped, he saved Dan and the Renegades, forcing Jerry to nominate Renny. It looks like Renny will be on her way out, but a small part of me thinks Memphis and Dan should consider letting Keesha go. True, Renny would win against them as a "less hated" houseguest, but I don't see her posing the same kind of threat in the Final HOH competition against Memphis and Dan, should there plan work out. They could even tie the vote, a la Ryan and Adam last season, and force Jerry to look bad. (This is all speculation, of course, as Memphis's deal with Keesha makes all of this a very unlikely scenario. But it's fun to think about !) So who do you want to see go home? And who are you pulling for to win HOH? What are you most excited to see from the jury house? I have to say, I was expecting tonight's episode to be a letdown after the most exciting show of the season on Thursday (thanks again to Krista for covering for me, since my local CBS affiliate decided that this season's most crucial episode didn't need to be seen until 1:30 am!), but I wasn't expecting to feel this crummy after watching. I guess it wasn't so much the level of action, but the actual chain of events that occurred. So let's get to it! After a recap of Thursday's head-spinning double eviction (Michelle and Ollie were sent packing, for those of you just getting to the party), we get to see Jerry's empty nest syndrome as he begged the rest of the house to just talk to him. The music they edited in for Jerry was hilarious, but it was kind of sad to see the rest of the house trying to avoid him like the plague. Even Renny, who might be able to relate to him just on the basis of being older, said she had a hard time talking to the colonel. (We'd find out even more why this is true later in the evening.) Though I was itching for the HOH competition, instead we got two little segments on Keesha and Renny. Yes, they added a little color, but it was also a reminder that the show is almost over, and we will increasingly get more filler than we will competition. However, Renny's complete stubbornness about the difference in time zones (even telling Dan he was making an ass of himself on TV, when she was the one looking stupid) was hilarious. And while the segment on Keesha's laugh was a little tough on the ears, it was also pretty entertaining. I particularly liked Dan's hyena comments and Jerry's awful attempt at recreating the laugh, which from him, sounded like a throaty hiss. (Am I the only one who hasn't noticed how annoying her speaking voice is as well? I mean, maybe I have noticed, but it was becoming near unbearable in the HOH competition.) Speaking of which, when we finally got around to the HOH, it was drawn out for a looooong time. The object of the game was to guess what day certain events took place. However, the houseguests had to roll a skeet ball to the correct day, and if they failed to do so, they were awarded penalty points for each point they were away from the correct number. The person with the fewest points at the end of the game wins. Renny was terrible, Memphis wasn't great, and Dan got out to a big early lead over Jerry. However, Jerry got an answer right on the money just as Dan's ball bounced way off the mark. (In truth, this game was less about knowledge than it was shot accuracy.) With one round to go, Jerry was up by seven points. Dan got his answer exactly right (he seemed to know most of the days throughout the competition), but Jerry was only five away, earning the least amount of penalty points, and the HOH key. Oh, crap. The worst (and most unlikely) thing that could happen, of course, happened. It really only makes sense. To his credit (and he was sure to gloat about it in the diary room) Jerry did survive two evictions in one night and then became HOH. He might have guaranteed his way to the final four, but I wouldn't count on him going much further. After remarking on how everyone was sucking up to him (What have you been doing each week, Jerry?) Jerry told the story behind "Hissy" (a stuffed animal snake) that must have been terrible, considering they didn't even leave it in for us to hear it all. Dan said it was "a story from 1935" that he only kept his eyes open for in order to perhaps earn some points. Memphis said it best: The story was "not exciting, didn't make sense and wasn't funny." At least we have Renny to make us laugh. She was either drunk or, as Memphis and Keesha suggested, sleepwalking in the middle of the night, retrieving an Almond Joy from the kitchen. Despite cracking jokes about ping pong balls and much else, however, the next morning, she had no recollection of her adventure. Somebody better keep an eye on her! So, we've come to the point when everybody starts talking about their end game. Memphis tried to make Keesha believe he had a final two deal with her, despite already having one with Dan. Keesha seemed receptive enough, though she was also reminding Renny how much she would need her to get through this week, as two of their alliance members were going up. The Renegades realized like the girls, that Jerry's smartest move would be to nominate both guys or both girls, which sent Memphis on the offensive. After already making two "final two" deals, Memphis basically promised Jerry that he would take him to the final two if he weren't put on the block this week. He and Dan both surmised that with one of them off the block, they could at least potentially save the alliance. Based on Memphis' diary room, the deal means absolutely nothing to him, so I suppose we should expect him to break his word in the coming week(s), unless keeping Jerry around becomes advantageous to him. Though at this point, it seems his goal is to win POV and save Dan, and the Renegades. But Jerry's no idiot, choosing to nominate Keesha alongside Dan. His reasoning? If the nominations remain the same, he's counting on Renny to vote to keep Keesha. IN the event that Memphis breaks his word (which he probably would) Jerry still controls who goes home with the tie-breaking vote. He obviously wants Dan out, so Memphis or Dan winning the POV is crucial, though Memphis winning it is best-case scenario for the Renegades. So what do you think of Jerry pulling off the upset? Do you think Memphis might actually keep his word by flipping on Dan if things don't work out? Now that we're getting down to it, who do you think will win? Holy cannoli it's a double eviction night! Krista here filling in for Adam since his area CBS affiliate feels a pre-season football game is more important than this crucial episode of BB. The horror! Thankfully, Philly banished the Eagles game to our ABC affiliate since they have nothing else to air anyway. Hurray! So if you're reading up on this because you're in the same boat as Adam and still don't know what happened, welcome and don't forget to watch that shiz online. This episode is going to go fast so I'm going to blog minute to minute so you get a sense of the excitement. Fasten your seatbelts and try to keep up! The show started abruptly with Dame Julie, looking flawless in all black, outside the house filling us all in on the roller coaster of an hour we had coming. Then there was what felt like a 4 hour recap of past events and I was so mad they were wasting precious time on this. Hello! There was much to do! After the intro, DJ was back to explain how tonight would work. But first, we got footage of the post-Veto ceremony chaos. I totally concur with Adam who said in his Tuesday blog that if Dan was going to break his word he should have put up Ollie. Now it's double eviction night and Ollie can win HOH. I'm so nervous. We then got more of Michelle's crazy ramblings about how she "knows" what's going on and that she's not stupid. Ollie then went outside to confront Dan and Ollie thought he was filling in the houseguests on the deal and he didn't realize they already knew all about it. Michelle lied to Keesha and said Dan told her to say her name during that stupid roulette game but she volunteered that all by herself. I love this "Dan is a plant" business. It's the most hilarious part of the show right now. Next we saw the big four convene in the HOH and Renny scolded Dan on his POV ceremony antics. We got some footage of Ollie wrecking the house and of Michelle asking Dan why he'd screw her when she should have just nominated Ollie. So true. Maybe she does have some sense left. Finally DJ talked to the houseguests and informed them of what was to come. Jerry and Michelle made their final pleas and the voting began. I never doubted that Michelle would go but even if they were wavering on who to evict, the news that it was a double eviction night should have sealed Michelle's fate. Why compete against her when Jerry would most likely be easier to beat? By a vote of 3-1, Michelle became tonight's first victim. She expressed her "plant" theory to DJ who surprisingly told her Dan was not a plant. I wanted someone in the audience to scream something inappropriate at this point. I don't know why but I wanted them to bust out laughing like hyenas when she said Dan was plant. If they aren't going to add entertainment I wish the audience would disappear! After the break, we had the HOH competition. It was a nail biter involving stepping up or down to answer a series of questions about what America thought of the houseguests. At the end, Jerry and Keesha were tied. The tie-breaker was guessing the number of lollipops on the table after the food competition and they both answered 100! The next tie-breaker was guessing the time in seconds of all the heat times in the POV competition. Jerry said 320 and Keesha said 500 and the answer was over 1000 so Keesha won! The look of relief on Dan's face was priceless! It was time for Keesha to nominate two houseguests and was there ever a doubt it would be Ollie and Jerry? No! Ollie looked so p**sed I thought he was going to kill someone! It was looking pretty much over for him but he still had a chance with the veto. It was a physical competition with the houseguests sprinting over stacks of hay to a big pile of hay where they had to find 2 veto symbols to win. All but the two nominees found their first symbol quickly and Dan found his second before the nominees even found their first! I sort of laughed at that but given Jerry's age he was at a disadvantage. However, Ollie had no excuse. I started feeling bad for him at this point but my husband rightly reminded me not to because he did nothing all game. Dan kept the nominations the same and the voting began. By a vote of 3-0, Ollie became tonight's second victim and he was practically out of the house before DJ even finished her sentence. Very mature. We better get jury house footage now because if I miss the look on April's face when Michelle and Ollie go strolling in I will never forgive CBS. Never! At this point it was just before 9pm and I was wondering if we would get another HOH competition. I guess it was enough fun for the night since DJ ended the show just after finishing her interview with a very disgruntled, yet oddly pleasant, Ollie. Tune in Sunday to see who the next HOH will be. Now don't throw tomatoes at me for saying this, but I sort of want Jerry to win. Not because I want him to stay in the game, but wouldn't it be interesting to see the big four have to battle it out? I think so. Who would come out on top? Who would backstab first? What are your thoughts? Comment below on all of tonight's events and I'll see you next week! Have a great Labor Day Weekend everyone! — KristaFor more Big Brother drama, check out our Online Video Guide.

Dan, Dan, Dan. You had played so well, and then you made the worst move ever by offering Ollie such a outrageous deal. "It can't worse," I thought. But, apparently I was wrong. The show kicked off with a tamer Memphis than we saw on Sunday, but he was still not understanding of Dan's ridiculous deal with Ollie. Things only got worse when Dan explained the third layer to the deal, which had Memphis downright flabbergasted. Of course, Ollie was bragging in the diary room about calling all the shots "with no blood on his hands," while Dan chalked up his move to simply being a calculated risk he was confident he could pull off. Dan's fellow alliance members Renny and Keesha quickly realized the importance of the POV competition, even without knowing the third layer of Dan's deal. But Dan made it clear in his diary room conversation that he was planning to go back on his word and make Michelle the replacement nominee, provided she didn’t play and win in the POV competition. He views her as stronger competitor than Ollie, and thus, the bigger threat in the long run. So, he planned to back door her (he says) all along. When he told his alliance members that, it was met with little resistance, save for the fact that she (and Ollie) would explode. Um, yeah! We took a break from the brewing drama to find out the winner of America's choice to receive a phone call from home. While Michelle was already in tears at the prospect of getting the call, Jerry also was hoping for America to pull through for him since he had not been away from his wife for this long in their 54 years of marriage. Based on Jerry's lack of favor in this blog as well as our Power Rankings, I find it curious that he was America's choice, but maybe a few people out there have hearts. Though the edit didn't really show that they had much to say to one another, it was touching. (But don't worry, Michelle's tears were only because she didn't get to talk to her family!) So, Dan's plan hung in the balance as he and the nominees (joined by Keesha, Renny and Michelle) donned space suits for a puzzle-solving POV competition. (By the way, did anyone else think the music in the background was a terrible attempt at mimicking the iconic music from 2001: A Space Odyssey that apparently CBS didn't want to pay to use?) Divided into two heats, the houseguests flew back and forth retrieving puzzle pieces and assembled them on their boards, though they had more pieces than necessary to complete the puzzle. Keesha won the first heat easily, and Memphis quickly won the second, securing Dan's plan even more. When Memphis came out the big winner, he and Dan did a man-dance in the HOH room, which included presumably "The Renegades" handshake, complete with cheesy finger guns. So, at this point, it's a foregone conclusion that Memphis would use the POV on himself, setting up Dan's plan perfectly, Now, I like Dan, and have enjoyed how well he's pulled off his game so far this season. But I think his deal with Ollie was just ridiculous, but I am even more upset at his decision to not honor his word when he had other options: • He (or his alliances) control the votes. Once they knew about the third part of the deal, Dan could have nominated Keesha like Ollie wanted and still have a tie eviction vote (Ollie and Michelle for Keesha, Renny and Memphis for Jerry) that he would break. He still keeps his word, and still gets Jerry out of the house. (I get that Michelle is a threat, but Ollie has given his word that Dan would be safe as well). • Alternately, if Dan wanted to break his word, why not nominate Ollie? Yeah, Ollie would still be mad, but I really don't think Michelle had so much allegiance to Ollie that she would try to avenge him next week. (Again, it comes down to seeing Michelle as a bigger threat, but with a double eviction coming, Dan better pray that his alliance comes through with an HOH win Thursday night.) With his mind made up, Dan played a silly game of "replacement nominee roulette" where he made all the houseguests name who they would nominate. Everyone basically named everyone else (as Dan had coached them to do) before Dan made some analogy to gambling and risk, saying that Ollie made a bad bet and that Michelle was nominated. (Jerry had to be thrilled that he was now probably safe!) It was a big flowery speech which really had no bearing, and probably just added more salt to Ollie's wounds. I really think Dan has let all the power he's had as America's player and swing-vote captain the past few weeks go to his head, and it may cost him the game. I do, however, recognize that Dan could be in worse shape. His alliance is happy (and will soon be the majority of the house). As long as it’s a physical competition, it's really 3-versus-1, as I just don't think Jerry will be able to win a physical challenge. And even if his alliance doesn't win HOH and he's nominated, the majority should still be able to save him. His boneheaded-ness may turn out to be genius, but I still think he could have played it a bit smarter. But hey, you have to take chances! Anyway, what do you think of the latest turn of events? Anybody else eager to see Michelle and Ollie going ballistic on Thursday's show? Do you think Dan is a genius or an idiot? Do you want Michelle gone, or are you hoping for some sort of ridiculous miracle that sends Jerry out? Big show tonight! Who ended up the HOH and who were their nominees? Despite the fact that I already knew, I couldn't wait to see how it all went down. So let's get to it. We picked up where we left off on Thursday with all the houseguests on their vines, soaking wet and smashing into the wall at random. I felt bad for all the guys after awhile. The way they were hanging couldn't have been comfortable for their junk. Jerry was the first to drop proving that even old Marine junk isn't as tough as young junk. Next we were treated to Memphis smacking Michelle in the face with a water balloon and it was probably the best moment of the competition. Since we saw in the POV competition when she lost the trip to Libra that she has no sense of humor, she whined like a baby and made all sorts of poor sport faces. Next to lose their balance was Keesha followed by Michelle and I was surprised that it was down to three guys. I wonder if any of them will be able to bear children after the trauma their junk must have gone through. Could they sue CBS? Hmmm. After Memphis fell it was just Ollie and Dan and this was when it got interesting. Dan somehow convinced himself that giving Ollie all the HOH power but asking him to concede the competition was an excellent idea because it put all the blood on Ollie's hands. This was when I knew Dan was crazy. Did he honestly think this would fly with his alliance? This was not looking good for him. However, Ollie liked the deal and let Dan win HOH remaining convinced that Dan would hold true to his word. Dan told us via diary room that he knew he made a bad deal but was very excited about it. I'm so confused! Keesha and Memphis started speculating on the ins and outs of Dan's deal with Ollie. Fearing the worst, they tried to convince themselves that it was just a deal for safety and that Dan would put up Michelle and Jerry. Next we switch to Ollie filling Michelle in on this deal basically laughing at what a steal it was. He told Michelle that he could save one person and pick the replacement nominee if the POV was used. Michelle figured all Dan wanted in return was a guarantee of safety next week if they win and Ollie explained that he didn't even want that. At this point I was thinking Dan is deranged and just blew it. Why did he think this was a good deal? I needed Dan to explain himself! Later, Dan admitted to Memphis that he made a bad deal and told him it might get sticky this week. Renny, Memphis and Keesha had a pow-wow in the hippy room and tried to figure things out and understand what Dan did. So did Dan pretend it was a bad deal to Memphis? He said in the diary room it was great. What was going on here? After he got his HOH, we saw footage of Dan saying this deal was all apart of his ridiculous "weak" strategy. I hate this strategy and I now do not want him to win. And if that "Taken" shirt was any indication of this Monica's true nature, he needs to run screaming in the other direction. And the fact that he's wearing it tells me that this "weak" strategy may not be a strategy at all and he may just be a pushover. But that's another issue. Will this strategy backfire on Dan? Do you guys think he's playing a good game? Every week he loses me more and more. The moment of truth came when Ollie told Dan that the person he picked to be nominated was Memphis. What was worse was Dan seemed willing to actually do it despite Memphis being the one person Dan was actually aligned with in the house. When Dan went to Memphis with the stipulations of his deal with Ollie and the consequences of it, Memphis told him that Ollie might as well be HOH and the unfair thing was that Ollie could compete next week. Yeah, hello! I love Memphis. Knowing he would have to nominate his buddy, Dan went to Keesha and Renny to find out if they would be willing to vote for Memphis to stay and although Keesha would, Renny wasn't so sure. She finally agreed but I'm not sure she wouldn't go back on her word. Ultimately, Memphis was not able to convince Dan it was a big mistake to nominate him and ended up on the block with Jerry. Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, Dan said in his nomination speech that he as well as others in the house wondered where Memphis stood. Great job, Dan. Way to further alienate your one friend in the house. Memphis had every right to be angry! What will happen after the veto? What if someone keeps it the same? If not, will Dan stick to his word and nominate who Ollie wants? What else could go wrong? Oh right, Thursday is a double eviction night so I'm sure a lot can go wrong! It's going to be a bumpy week kids. Post your comments below and check back for Adam's post veto blog on Tuesday. See you next Sunday! — KristaFor more Big Brother drama, check out our Online Video Guide.

Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey goodbye! That's what I was singing after tonight's eviction. Anyone else? Raise your hands nice and high so I can see you! Have no idea what I'm talking about? You'll see! The episode started with another look at Dan's POV ceremony fake out. No way was he saving April. Did Michelle really think it was anyone but April who offered Dan the money? That move reeked of April, but only because Jerry is so "honorable" he would never do such a thing. Michelle concluded that it was Jerry and this cracked me up. But to play devil's advocate, what was so wrong with offering money? Was that not what BB intended by giving it out in gold bars? It made sense to me. I was glad Keesha and Memphis said they didn't care at all and that they still wanted April out. Next we were treated to some hilarious April whining. I didn't do anything... blah blah blah... I just made cakes and was nice... blah blah blah... Keesha is jealous. She's so delusional. Hey April, the people you kicked out didn't do anything either! It's called a game for a reason. It's not always fair and the best person never wins. Does anyone else read into her assertions that Keesha is jealous of her as her insecurity that she isn't as pretty as Keesha? She keeps saying it like she needs to hear people say that she's so much better looking. The hilarious part is that no one is. Sensing her impending doom, Ollie and April got to work on Michelle and Dan to vote Jerry out. Michelle seemed to want to keep her around but admitted that if they wanted April out she'd vote with the house so she wouldn't be a target. The pressure really went to Dan as April again offered money and safety. Dan was tempted but it was doubtful he would actually vote Jerry out. We had an Ollie-April showmance segment complete with family commentary but I won't get into that. I just want to say that it sickens me that CBS has not showed them having sex or at least letting it be known that they have been getting busy for weeks. Everyone else who had sex in the house had it plastered all over the show. It may be backlash from last season's romps, but I'm angry. Anyone else? What was with Renny's hair tonight? Was I the only one who thought she stepped back to 1987 with this do? She's so zany. And does Jerry own another shirt? Every day with that retched thing! Egads! My spirits were lifted when Julie sent April packing by a vote of 4-1. I did not appreciate Dan's little "I vote to evict Jer-April" bit. He's starting to get to me and the power seems to be getting to him. While talking to Julie, April put on her "I'm classy" façade and pretended she didn't have anything bad to say about Keesha. Oh really? Because you didn't seem to feel that way the past couple of weeks when you picked her apart on the feeds. She reminds me of a girl I knew in college who always played happy and perfect but was really a miserable sack of s***. Good riddance April. Say hi to Libra for me and try not to cry when she jumps for joy upon seeing you! I'd love to be able to tell you who the next HOH is but we're being treated to another endurance competition. The name of the game is "King of the Jungle" and the houseguests were hanging onto their movable vines as rain pelted them. It actually looked fun. Did you hear Dan say something about his nuts? Awesome! My money is on Michelle or Keesha. Michelle proved in the last endurance that she's capable of going the distance. I don't see Ollie, Jerry or Memphis getting it done but maybe they'll surprise me. Who do you think will "reign" after this HOH? Who are you voting for to get the phone call from home? Are you as elated as I am that Awful April is gone? Holy crap — next week is a double eviction! Check back here Sunday as we watch the HOH competition unfold and see who their nominees will be! I finally managed to get over Renny's bone-headed nominations just in time for tonight's show to start, and the recap made me furious all over again. I give her credit for playing the game her way rather than the way of her alliance (unlike a few who remain who were at some point puppets for Libra), but nominating Jerry really didn't benefit anyone, in my mind. So did that decision come back to haunt her? Let's get to it.
As expected, Renny's alliance (though I don't know that they are unified to officially call the "Renny-gades anymore) shared my sentiments about Renny's nominations. Nearly everyone was expecting an April-Ollie nomination, but when it turned out differently, Dan and others began wondering if Renny had cut a deal with Ollie. Even Keesha, who seems to be Renny's No. 1 ally couldn't get much out of Renny (though, as I've always said, she isn't the best communicator.) Of course, one thing was loud and clear: "People shouldn't feel that safe." Keesha's wide eyes at that statement said it all.
Apparently Renny isn't the only houseguest to, as Memphis said, "go off the deep end," as we were treated to a couple of minutes of Jerry engaged in deep conversation…with himself. I know everyone in the house talks to themselves at times (mostly for the camera, I assume), but his self-interrogation was good for a chuckle or two. That didn't indicate his mental state nearly as well as his comparing himself to a street fighter before the veto competition. Sure thing, Jerry!
Also, Dan getting his haircut by Renny was funny, just because he was so obsessed about his hair. I'm sure Renny wasn't digging his lack of faith in her hair styling abilities. But it was a nice little piece of filler, unlike the usual "smaller table" trick. The houseguests say the same stuff every year. Yes, we know it's "getting down to it" and "amazing how far we've all come." Seen it too many times before. Yawn.
April and Ollie had a short squabble after the nominations about how April should react to the nominations. But ultimately they knew that their best chance (and my worst nightmare) was for Ollie to win the POV, saving both of them this week. (Thanks again, Renny!) When the names were drawn, Dan, Keesha and (of course) Ollie were selected to play in the "haunted" POV game. (Was so glad to see Ollie freak out again, even though the crow was stuffed. (Curse you, "Albert Hitch-hock," for scaring the boy!)
The POV asked houseguests to make numerical estimations (quantities, lengths) based on a small sample provided to them. The houseguests would make their guesses, and then be allowed to stay in the round, or drop out. The person who stayed in and was furthest from the actual number was out, and the closest earned a point. First person with three points wins.
Street fighter Jerry got off to a great start, winning two points, and eliminating Renny and April. But then, he played it safe, folding his guess in the next two rounds, helping Dan earn two points, and eliminate Keesha. It all came down to a final question, and Dan's guess was the lowest while Jerry's was the highest. (Dan was actually trying to win this time, now that he was afraid Ollie had cut a deal and would not go up if one of the nominees came down). I couldn't believe it, but Dan's guess was closer to the total, giving him the POV.
So Dan began to feel out both Jerry and April. Jerry quickly apologized for his ridiculous Judas speech during last week's POV ceremony, and promised Dan safety and alliance, should he save him. April, on the other hand sweetened her offer, reminding Dan that she and Ollie would be two people keepin | |
