Saving the World One TV Show At A Time

by Leann
Read Unforgettable
This may make me a bad Supernatural fan, but I'm just gonna say it. Last night's season 3 finale was by far my favorite finale of the 3 we've had. In order of preference, they'd be "No Rest For the Wicked", "Devil's Trap", and "All Hell Breaks Loose Part 2."

I know that up to this point, most of us felt like "Devil's Trap" was the epitome of Supernatural awesomeness, but after last night's episode, "No Rest For the Wicked" knocked it down a notch, in my opinion.

Perhaps it's because I just watched the show last night, so it's fresh in my mind, but I can remember everything about last night's episode. However, when it comes to "Devil's Trap," what I remember is how I felt all summer long about the car crash at the end. I don't remember what happened during the rest of the entire hour, but I remember that I sat up on my couch that night, screamed OH MY GOD, and said, "I hate you Eric Kripke." Then I spent the entire summer planning how I was going to stalk Eric Kripke and make him tell me what happened after the crash instead of having to wait until fall. But it was just that scene and how I felt about it that I remember.

For "No Rest For the Wicked," I remember everything about it from Dean being scared to Dean hallucinating Sam's demonic face to Bon Jovi (my personal happy time during the episode) to Dean's cheesy/heartfelt speech that he practiced but Sam still saw right through to the holy water sprinklers to Ruby being caught to Bobby going with them to Dean being ripped to shreds while Sam was pinned to the wall unable to help to Ruby becoming Lilith and then extruding the demon from her via black smoke to Dean being trapped in some kind of Hell Spiderweb to Sam holding his dead brother's body in his arms crying and screaming no.

It's all there, and I will think about every aspect of it until the season 4 premiere. Sam crying at the end definitely sticks with me as do a lot of questions that Eric created for us last night.

I told myself at 9pm last night that I would be saying, "I hate you, Eric Kripke" in about an hour, and I was right except for one thing. I said, "Oh how I love you, Eric Kripke," too. He may very well be the best storyteller of his time. He's brilliant because he's able to dangle us all on a stick and keep us wanting more.

There are plenty of shows out there that I could probably read a synopsis on and get all I need without watching the actual show. And for the most part you can probably find that about Supernatural, but the difference is that I don't want to. I want to take in every single second of every single episode and enjoy my one hour a week with the Winchester Boys as much as I can. And that credit is due completely to Mr. Kripke and his group of minions.

I cannot wait for the season 4 premiere, but now that we've been with this show for 3 seasons, I trust that Eric and his minions will not disappoint in any way.

P.S. I watch Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, and Supernatural on Thursday nights. All of them had some great lines in them. But, my favorite line of the entire night was when Gio said to Betty, "I don't want to be the rebound guy. I want to be the guy."

I realize I haven't blogged on here in a while, and I have no excuses, so let's just move on. Also, I can't guarantee I'll be all that consistent in the future.

However, I just couldn't let last night's Supernatural go by without making the one comment about which I felt so strongly.

I have made no effort to hide the fact that I hate the character of Bella because she's done nothing but put the boys in danger. And quite frankly, I was glad to read on Kristin from E!'s blog that Kripke is not bringing her character back next season. So...here's my comment about last night.

I have done a lot of Bella hating over the course of season 3, but I never hated her so much as when she walked into that hotel room, didn't bat an eye, and shot directly at what she thought was Sam and Dean asleep. Of course we knew they wouldn't be there and that they were setting a trap for her, but she didn't know that and walked in there to kill them, no questions asked. That was uncool. And that's where she became dead to me...thanks to the hellhounds, she became dead to everyone.

I started to understand her motives of getting rich off the supernatural world and I even felt incredibly sad for her when they alluded to what her father had done to her when she was a little girl, but when you pull a stunt like that, no more understanding gets thrown your way.

And don't give me an crap about how Sam and Dean would have done the same thing to save Dean from his deal. You cannot tell me that if Lilith tells them Dean can be free from his deal if they kill Bobby or Ellen or anyone else that they know and love, that they'd actually do it. Sam and Dean are not that cold hearted, and we all know it. I don't know that we've ever seen them kill someone that wasn't a demon or demon-possessed or a vampire (since I'm not sure they count as demons).

Ok...I just had to get that out.

P.S. On Grey's Anatomy: Right on, Christina. I've been waiting for her to give that speech the gave to the Chief since last season.
Read MICHAEL AUSIELLO, WHAT GIVES??
I know I haven't posted in a while, but I've been on a little bit of a writer's strike of my own. However, I posted the following comment on the One Tree Hill blog, and since I'm calling out what was reported last summer regarding One Tree Hill, I wanted to make sure it was plain as day for TV Guide.com to read.

Ausiello on One Tree Hill
Question: In last week's Ask Ausiello, you mentioned a beautiful nanny for Nathan and Haley's son on One Tree Hill. Is there going to be another adultery story line?— p0lkad0ts27
Ausiello: It's not Nathan the nanny's interested in.

Exhibit B:
August 22, 2007 -- Ausiello Report
One Tree Hill Adds Another Beautiful Person
It's official: One Tree Hill is obsessed with beautiful people and Beautiful People.
Just weeks after Daphne Zuniga, who starred as the matriarch on the short-lived ABC Family soap, was added to the cast, producers have tapped her daughter on that show, Torrey DeVitto, to do a multi-episode arc.
The two actresses probably won't cross paths on the Hill, though. Zuniga will be involved in Brooke's storyline, while DeVitto will be playing the nanny looking after Nathan and Haley's son, James (although I hear her eye will wander elsewhere).

Now both of these pieces of evidence suggest that Nanny Carrie's intentions are not the standard husband slept with the nanny situation. So I'm confused. I know Michael Ausiello doesn't like One Tree Hill, but even I would expect that his integrity as a gossip/scoop reporter hound wouldn't lead him to report false information just because he hates a show.

So I'm asking all of TV GUIDE...what gives? Are these spoilers no longer true?
Read Thursday Delight
Before I get started, I have a comment about Dirty Sexy Money. I watched this week's episode last night, and all I have to say is that if Nick cheats on Lisa with Karen (or anyone else for that matter) I am done with this show. I'm tired of watching people cheat on their spouses on TV because it's glorified too much and I'm just tired of it. So, despite the fact that I want desperately to know who killed Dutch, I'll be done with the show if Nick becomes a cheater. Ok...moving on...

Supernatural:
Let me start with this:
Sam: Drop the attitude, Dean. Quit turning everything into a punchline. And you know something else, stop trying to act like you're not afraid.
Dean: I'm not
Sam: You're lying and you may as well drop it cause I can see right through you.
Dean: You have no idea what you're talking about.
Sam: Yeah, I do. You're scared, Dean. You're scared because your year's running out and you're still going to hell. And you're freaked.
Dean: And how do you know that?
Sam: Because I know you.
Dean: Really.
Sam: Yeah because I've been following you around my entire life. I mean I've been looking up to you since I was 4, Dean. Studying you. Trying to be just like my big brother. So yeah I know you better than anyone else in the entire world. And this is exactly how you act when you're terrified. And I mean I can't blame you. It's just.
Dean: What?
Sam: It's just I wish you would drop the show and be my brother again cause...just cause.
Dean: Alright. We'll hole up, cover our scent so he can't track us, and wait the night out here.

And with that I said...FINALLY, the speech that broke through. Now granted in the end, the scene with Dean teaching Sammy how to fix the car was bittersweet and showed that Dean still believes he's going to hell at the end of the year, but at least Dean appears to be approaching the subject with a little more realism. Rather than running out and trying to save his brother, he's teaching Sam how to survive without him.

Now let's go to the top of the episode...

I think this episode solidified even further my hatred for Bella. And besides the Sam speech above, my favorite lines of the episodes were:

Dean: If we make it out of this alive, the first thing I'm gonna do is kill you.
Bella: You're not serious.
Dean: Listen to my voice and tell me if I'm serious.

She just doesn't get it. She doesn't get that her greed jeopardizes people's lives. I swear I think she may have drooled all over Gordon when she saw the mojo bag. UGH! Honestly, I'm not in the least bit interested in Bella and Dean ever getting together or Sam getting together with her for that matter. In fact, I'd be fine if she was a casualty of war at some point. I know she's there to irritate, but I think she irritates me more than she's supposed to.

Lucy cracked me up when she was describing the vampire who turned her as "old...like 30." Yeah, I'm 29. Guess I'm almost over the hill. :) We did see a bit of the old Sam who has concern for the human being possessed by the demon when he wanted to spare Lucy, but Dean said it had to be done, which it did. The hunger does not go away and every vampire isn't Mick St. John.

As for Gordon, I know the previews said that he was coming back bigger and stronger, but I guess I missed that it was because he was coming back as a vampire. That was an interesting turn of events for me when he was turned especially since he spent most of his natural life hunting them as revenge for his sister. And honestly, if I step back and look at it and say if Gordon is right and Sam is/was the Anti-Christ, I have to commend Gordon for trying to do the noble thing and rid the world of the Anti-Christ. Now, I don't believe Sam is the Anti-Christ. I'm pretty certain he's got a bit of demon in him, but I don't think he's the Anti-Christ. Therefore, Gordon must die. And when Sam snapped Gordon's head off, the way the camera was fixated on Sam's eyes, I was ready, completely ready, for Sam's eyes to turn black. For the last thing that Gordon saw to be Sam revealing that Gordon was right about Sam being bad. I just fully expected it. It was VERY gruesome the way he killed Gordon and almost turned my stomach, but thankfully, the head snapped off right before I had to run to the porcelain god.

According to Ausiello, we've got 3-5 episodes left that haven't aired. How much do you think we'll get in those 3-5 eps? A lot of shows seem to be leading us to cliffhangers that will probably be affected by the strike, and Supernatural probably won't be any different.

Grey's Anatomy:
May I begin by saying that I hate high school kids. Not all of them, mind you, just the ones that are superficial and only care about who is more popular. Sometimes I wish we could skip those years of adolescence and most straight to early to mid 20s where things start to make a little bit of sense.

The story about Danny and the pencil in his brain was very sad. Danny and his friend were the two people in that whole group of kids who were the good ones. The rare ones who get it already. And then Danny had to go into a coma for the rest of his life. Oh, I hated that.

The story with Meredith, Lexie, and Thatcher I have to say kind of bored me. We did learn that Lexie has a bit of fire in her belly when she needs it, and that she's got a dark and twisty side to her, too. She's at the end of her rope, but one of the things I like about this show is that no one get a break. Lexie thought she had the right to feel sorry for herself and to yell at Alex for making her personal family situation a little more public by bringing the Chief and Meredith in on it. But oh now...Alex can go you one better cause see he's been the adult in his family since he was 7 and had to start cleaning up after his own alcoholic father. Well played, Alex. I think everyone needs someone in their life who can say "suck it up cause it could be worse."

Before I get to Bailey (my favorite part of the episode), I have two more things. First, Rose the nurse could be good for Derek. She doesn't really put up with his crap, but he's starting to impress her with his willingness to find out about her. I was a pretty hard fighter for Mer/Der when Addison first came to town, but now I really just want to see Derek happy. He deserves it at some point, right? And I think Meredith being left high and dry because Derek finds someone else may be a kick in the butt that she needs.

Second, I did get quite a chuckle out of the Mark Sloan is old bit. The girls telling him he looked like one of their fathers. And then word getting around the hospital that Mark is the old guy. That was really great. See...no one gets a break on this show.

Alright...on to Bailey. I have never cried at Grey's Anatomy. Yes, it's true, sometimes I cry at TV, but I have never cried at Grey's Anatomy...not even when Denny died. Probably because I figured that opened him up to come back to Supernatural, but still...no crying...UNTIL LAST NIGHT. When Bailey went into her tirade at Derek about how the guys with their chiseled looks and hair products never see girls like her, I just lost it. Bailey's high school crush came into the hospital as part of the bus accident and he flustered Bailey. She turned back into the school girl who fell in love with the guy she was tutoring. I have never identified with Bailey more than last night. But I was that girl. I was that girl who was smart and funny and not half bad if you took the time to hang out with her. But because that girl didn't look the part of the popular girl, it was wrong to even think about hanging out with her much less considering a romance. But it was ok to use the girl to pass your classes. And what Bailey learned was that no matter how great you are even as an adult, people like that will never see you. The important thing to learn is that in the end, you don't want people like that to see you. You want the person who will love you because you're smart, funny, and not half bad no matter if you're in the popular group or not. But I did love her speech, and I loved Derek for listening to her every word and then laying the band geek bit on her. And then I cried some more. That scene was my favorite part of the whole episode. In fact, I think I'd buy this season on DVD just for that scene.

Ok. That's all I got. Thoughts?

P.S. There will be no more The Big Bang Theory’s because they have aired all the episodes they filmed.

I am counting down the hours practically until I get to get on a plane to go south for Thanksgiving and see my nephew. Don't worry, I have a plan to keep my blog updated. My mother has a list of shows she is responsible for recording for me and I will commandeer my brother's TV as often as I can. And there's always watching episodes online. Besides, I don't get on a plane until Saturday, so this week will be pretty much taken care of. As for Life...

I loved Crews's first line of the show: "How come you only call me when someone's dead?". GREAT!

I want to get through the case of the week first so I can get to the backstory...Last night we dealt with an IRS agent who worked on tax evasion cases, was a polygamist who led two nearly completely different existences, and had his lower have vaporized by a gas oven. I have to say, he looked like half a mannequin at the crime scene. It was just odd. It was pretty hilarious when Dani and the Captain were appalled by how little furniture was in the victim's apartment asking "who lives like this?". Then we see Crews at home in his furniture-less house.

So Dani and Crews figured out that Farthingale discovered who the Freestate Bomber was and that was what got him killed. Farthingale was looking for someone who was not not following the law. I'm not sure there's another show on television where Crews repeating those statements over and over would actually work. It makes total sense on this show...anywhere else...not so much.

I loved how they figured it all out by going to the two widows' houses and figuring out what Farthingale had figured out. That was pretty impressive and I'm glad they tracked the guy down and arrested him. I like that Dani and Crews are working together better. I believe Dani is going to have to be a real help to Crews in order to figure out who framed him.

So...on to the backstory...Something I noticed tonight, the minute Ames was found dead in the parking deck, Crews was all of a sudden guilty of everything they thought he was guilty of 12 years ago and then some. That's some real loyalty there, guys. I loved when Crews drew the happy face and stuck it on his computer. I do that sometimes to remind myself to smile. It cracked me up when he actually smiled at it.

I think I kind of knew that Ted knew about the closet, but I don't know why or how I knew. I just did. I was very impressed with his loyalty to Crews. People keep telling him to get rid of Ted, but I think Ted is going to be the one person who will stick with him to the end.

I think we've learned that Crews was very DEEPLY set up. This wasn't one or two people involved. This was a whole pack of people, but we've got to figure out why. What did Crews know or what did people think he knew that got him framed for the murder 12 years ago? I think Ames was killed by whoever really killed the family because, technically, Crews needed Ames alive to get information from him. Then Dani's father, Jack Reese, shows up to pick her up for Ames's funeral and Crews realizes that he was the guy in the park with Ames at the beginning of the episode...and one of the last people to see him alive. Oh this is gonna be good.

DANG IT WHY DO WE HAVE TO HAVE A WRITER'S STRIKE!! GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT PEOPLE!!

Before I get to last night's shows, I wanted to say to those of you who watch Journeyman, Monday's episode was awesome. Not so much on the mission of the week, but with the amount of background information we got. I was very pleased with all of it, and I still think the Professor is behind all of this. And, Dan's brother Jack may come around after all. We'll see. I know I don't blog about that show, but I just had to tell y'all how great it was.

NCIS:
I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not, but my favorite line was at the very top of the show when the Navy Admiral told the guy on the phone to use his laser pointer because "GAO guys are distracted by shiny things." LOVE IT!! Only because it's so true. My other favorite line was when McGee told DiNozzo to "just push the buttons I tell you to push, monkey."

From the get-go I knew that the cab driver was the real target, and I don't know about y'all but I wasn't too trusting of the professor from the first time they met him at the restaurant. I don't know that I figured he was the one in charge of all of it, but he definitely struck me as someone who knew more than he was telling. It was so very sad at the end when Sayda finally found her Thomas only to discover that he had remarried and had a child because he thought she had been killed in their native country. He was her soulmate, but Thomas didn't think he had anything to hope for. Come to America and lose your hope...now there's a slogan for the brochures.

I didn't much care for the look on Ziva's face at the end of the episode when Tony walked by her. Earlier in the episode, Sayda had told her that she would know her soulmate when she met him. That look on Ziva's face was as if she was considering/recognizing Tony as such. Perhaps one good thing can come from the writer's strike...perhaps they won't have time to build that love story. :)

On a different note, I'm not sure which is scarier: Abby on Caf-Pow or Abby off Caf-Pow with no real change in her energy level until oh I don't know several days later.

Cane:
This week we learned that the in over-your-headedness stretches to Frank as well with his gambling debts. $500k to a bookie who took his Ferrari and considered taking his boat until Alex bailed him out and got him in with the gangster's bookies. Oh yeah...the Duque family is definitely in trouble. However, I did agree with Alex's decision to have all of Frank's expenses run through him especially if he's betting on Miami Dolphins games. Besides, the last thing Duque needs is embezzlement or laundering charge since now Joe Samuels has passed his guilt off to his daughter.

Hey, Ellis...your father didn't just throw you under the bus. He threw you right in front of the darn thing. I actually felt sorry for her in this episode, but I'm intrigued by the last scene between her and Alex. Alex has known since he was a teenager that Samuels had Lucia killed. Did Alex really get involved with Ellis after that? Hmm...As for Alex, I really want to believe that his deal with Ramon will be good, but nothing good ever comes from making deals with gangsters.

On the Henry/Terry front, I have to say, I actually like those two together. She's really nothing like anyone I would put with him, but I love her playing hard to get and him generally sticking up for himself. I'll be interested to see how these two play each other in the coming episodes.

Thoughts on either of these episodes?
Read Long Weekend In Review
I work for the government, so I had yesterday off in honor of Veteran's Day. It was just as well because after Sunday night, I didn't feel much like even getting out of bed. Here are my thoughts on Moonlight, Cold Case, The Big Bang Theory, and K-ville.

Moonlight:
In Friday's episode, we had a death in a fire of a lady with a tattoo on her back and the murder was committed by a dead guy. Oh yeah...and to top it all off, the photojournalist capturing all this looks exactly like Mick's dead vampire ex-wife. I don't know about y'all, but I knew the whole time. I didn't know how she'd done it, but I just knew Morgan was Coraline. Until Mick catches on, I'm going to call her Coragan. I do hope he catches on soon because now he trusts her since he can find no reason to believe she's Coraline.

I want to know how she did it. That last scene when she rubbed the makeup off her tattoo made me so mad, but now I want to know how she did it. Neither Mick nor Josef could smell vampire on her, so I just want to know how in the world she did it. My other question is about the guy who killed the girl in the fire. Is he now a vampire? He attacked Mick at the cemetery, but by that point he'd been dead for a while.

I do wish that Mick had told Beth about Coragan being the one who kidnapped her all those years ago. Hopefully this will come in one of the next few episodes.

We got to see more of Josef in this episode and more importantly more of Josef and Mick together. I loved their little field trip to Hank's house to find clues about the guy. Josef cracks me up whenever he shows his teeth. It's like a hungry animal licking his lips, which isn't entirely off base for vampires. When he got right up on Coragan to smell her I thought he was just going to lay into her. It was cool to get to see Josef jump like Mick does, but the funniest part was when he sat down on the bed and started bouncing on it. Cracked me up.

Josef did of course have the best line of the night: "One of these days, you're gonna have to stop hating what you are." I know Mick hates being a vampire because of the primal instincts that come with it, but it's so true that he's going to have to embrace it eventually. That statement by Josef is so completely true about so many people including to some degree, yours truly. Eventually, you have to find a way to love yourself for who you are.

Cold Case:
I've said this before, but I'll say it again. I HATE THE EPISODES WHERE THE VICTIM IS A KID! And then this one was about 4 little boys who were killed over an 8 year period. The "doer" turned out to be an adult who had a disturbing childhood where his counselor at his orphanage made him stand inside a box for days at a time. So, as a revenge, he's killed kids who resemble the kids who beat him into submission at the orphanage because the counselor made them all stand in boxes whenever Malik did something wrong. Punishing all for one. It was seriously disturbing to watch this episode.

A couple of questions I had:
*How come it took the team as long as it did to figure out the kids were being taken from an arcade? I got it from the tickets and the little toy in the plastic container.
*Why didn't Malik go after the actual kids (who are adults now) who cut off his finger and tortured him all those years ago? I know he's probably a child trapped in an adult body, but a revenge killing makes more "sense" if you kill the actual people rather than associate those people onto others.

Again, this was just a sad, sad episode.

The Big Bang Theory:
On a happier note, The Big Bang Theory was on last night. I look forward to this show every week because it always makes me laugh.

Last night, Raja's parents arranged a date for him with an Indian girl from his past in the hopes that he would get married and give them grandbabies, and his friends couldn't be concerned for him long enough to help him. They just couldn't focus and kept moving on to other subjects. So, Raja put feelers out for new friends while trying to figure out how to get through the date. I loved Howard acting like Raja on the phone with Lalita to set up the meeting time. That was spot on. And apparently, Howard's parents have used every avoidance mechanism in the book to keep their marriage a happy one.

To help out Penny, the gang agreed to be bar patrons so she could practice her drink mixing skills. In the process, Howard asked for a slippery nipple, Leonard a tequila sunrise, and Sheldon a rum and coke (hold the rum and make it diet). Raja got a grasshopper, which after one sip gave him the courage to actually talk to Penny...I think the first woman he's ever spoken to in his life other than the women in his family. It also provided the best line of the night: "How can I be a gynecologist? I can't even look a woman in the eye?" So, the gang figured out that Raja could get through the date if he had a grasshopper.

At the date, Raja ended up being an obnoxious drunk who kept tell Lalita that she looked much better now that she's not fat. Yeah...that wins the girls over EVERY TIME. Sheldon showed up and stole Raja's date because Lalita looked like an Indian princess from a children's book his mother used to read him when he was sick. Turns out Sheldon just wanted to talk to her that one night. I'm not completely sure that Sheldon even knows that dating exists. In the end though, Penny was able to loosen Sheldon up a bit by spiking his rum and coke (hold the rum and make it diet). This sent Sheldon into a performance of all the songs from Fiddler on the Roof. Fantastic episode.

I have to say the bit with Sheldon and the rum and coke reminded me of Jack Nicholson in Five Easy Pieces when he went to the diner and wanted toast, but it was past breakfast time. So he asked for chicken salad on toast hold the chicken salad. To which the waitress asked where he'd like her to hold it. Jack's response: Between your knees. One of the greatest movie scenes of all time.

K-ville:
Finally, K-ville returned after the world series and that 2 hour Prison Break. And this week we dealt with Cobb's past catching up with him. Cobb and Boulet are really getting the hang of each other and are able to cover their behinds a little better. If I caught this right, Trevor Cobb was Trevor Laurette. I don't remember seeing the last name on the mug shot in the pilot, but I could be wrong. It may have been there.

Trevor's "friends" from his past of course didn't completely trust him when he just showed up all of a sudden. They tried to double cross him with the antique store heist, but Boulet cut them off at the pass. We did find out that Cobb had a relationship with his buddy's girlfriend and that they had planned to run off together. Then the jail time came for Trevor and then the storm. Oh the obstacles of love amongst felons.

So one of Trevor's friends had Trevor pegged the whole time he just didn't know why he didn't trust Trevor. Tilly was a loose cannon and that obviously reared its ugly head at the end when he exploded the C-4 (Boulet had a nice decoy operation on the supply guy with the spicy food.). Quinton still didn't trust him completely, but trusted him enough to have him run a job with him. Problem was that Quinton just didn't give Trevor much information to go on. Wanda, Quinton's girlfriend, followed Trevor where she saw him meet up with Boulet and then squealed on him to Quinton and Tilly. They forced Trevor to finish the job because he was the only one who could do the explosives.

Trevor tried to save Wanda and the innocent victims of the house raid, but Wanda ended up getting shot in the back by Quinton who got away. This was a scary episode because I just kept waiting for the two worlds to cross paths and the Embry to figure it all out. But of course, if he does, there's no show.

In the midst of all this, Boulet found out that his wife was spending some time with another guy while she was in Atlanta. She said nothing physical ever happened, but emotional cheating is sometimes worse. They seemed to make up in the end, but I think their relationship will continue to be a rocky one.

Looking forward to your comments. I LOVE reading them, and a lot of times they help me see something I missed or understand something in a completely different way. So, keep 'em comin'.
Read I :-x Thursdays
Life (not the show) was good last night with the exception of the Patriots-filled Sports Illustrated arriving in my mailbox. But at least Sam and Dean cheered me up!

Supernatural:
Let me start by saying that many decades ago Hitchcock made it perfectly clear to all of us that showering could be hazardous to your health and extremely life-threatening. This is one of the main reasons why I still shower with the bathroom door shut and locked. So, now Kripke has to go and bring all that up, again. That shower scene at the beginning was creepy...at least to me.

Second, I'm going to say something that may cause great distaste from my readers, so I'm just going to blurt it out and then crawl under my desk until the daggers and bullets stop flying. Ok...I HATE BELLA!! Kind of the same way I hate Gordon. I expect the demons to be a step ahead of Sam and Dean during most of the episode, but Bella is just flat out annoying. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah...I know...that's the point, but she's annoying to the point of frustration. Sam and Dean are actually trying to help people and to return the demons that were accidentally let out last season to hell. And when people get in their way who aren't demons...that's when I have a problem. She does, however, provide some pretty good lines for everyone.

Dean: Can I shoot her?
Sam: Not in public.

Bella: When this is all over we should really have angry sex.
Dean: Don't objectify me.

Now the demon of the week turned out to be some guy from a ghost ship who comes around every 37 years to kill people who have spilled someone else's blood because his own brother hanged him and cut off his hand. That's a nice cheery family you want around the house during the holidays. In the process of hunting this demon, Sam and Dean run in Gerte who happens to be a cougar with eyes only for our dear, precious Sam. That was a bit creepy to me actually, but again it provided Dean with some great cougarhound lines as well as an opportunity for Sam to trot out some Great Expectations in referring to Gerte as Mrs. Haversham. That's actually my favorite novel. Now if we could just get him to start using Shakespeare, Robert Frost, Kurt Vonnegut, and Arthur Miller, I would be Sam's FOREVER!! I'd say Sam and Dean have taken the road less traveled, traditionally speaking.

One thing did puzzle me about Gerte though. I know that she lives in a seaport town, so having a husband who was a sailor wouldn't have been that far fetched, but I have to say I was slightly suspicious of her when she said that her husband was all conservative until he got her below deck. I was starting to wonder if she was some kind of reincarnated version of our demon's wife or something. Of course...I took that one too far...sue me...I've been at this for 2 years...you start to suspect everyone at this point.

Dean did crack me up quite a bit in this episode from the hyperventilating over the car...completely understandable...NO ONE MESSES WITH THE IMPALA...to his facial expressions that really said it all. When he came down the stairs and stopped, I halfway expected him to say BOND, JAMES BOND. But the angry sex/objectification bit was better. I did wonder why Dean never saw the ship. Technically speaking he is responsible for Daddy Winchester's death. Yes, Daddy chose to give up his soul in exchange for Dean to live, but I could totally see a demon stretching that far.

In the end, I have to say that the showdown between Cain and Abel was a little bit of a letdown. This is the second week in a row that Sam and Dean haven't had to actually kill the demon. Interesting...

Finally, in the car on the way to Atlantic City, Sam once again said what we're all thinking. I love that about him. We all want Dean to give a crap about his impending demise. It seems to me that if Dean and Sam worked together on this they'd be able to find a resolution easier, but no...Sam has to do all the work because Dean is tired and ready to just hang it up. WHATEVER! Start pulling your weight, Dean...start giving a crap that you're about to spend eternity in hell.

Next week...GORDON returns.

Grey's Anatomy:
Day 742 of Gizzie must go down watch actually brought some hope for us Gizzie-haters. Gizzie Sex sucks apparently because they have ZERO chemistry in bed. Did I not say this last week about how I couldn't see them as lovers only as friends? I don't think Gizzie is over by any means, but at least we have hope that we're moving in that direction now.

Hahn is really driving me crazy. A few episodes back Derek got onto Christina for not teaching Lexie and letting her be a part of the procedures. Why hasn't the Chief pulled Hahn aside and basically given her the same speech? It's a freaking teaching hospital and no matter how much you might dislike how someone conducts their personal life...YOU STILL HAVE TO TEACH THEM! Sticking with Hahn...I quite enjoyed Mark falling further and further in lust with her. She was completely right in the end when she said he wanted her because she didn't want him. Mark wants what he can't have. As for Hahn's case this week, I was sad that she couldn't save the wife, but beyond thrilled that the husband came through for the baby girl.

The Chief has a new girlfriend in Derek, and honestly, I'm glad that Derek finally told the Chief that he (the chief) can't do anything for himself. I was starting to get a bit annoyed with Derek dropping and picking up the dry cleaning and the Chief actually complaining about the dry cleaners not getting the stain out. WOW...that was a little messed up. But once they got their lovers quarrels out of the way, the Chief was able to see that Bailey was covering for Torres. He gave Bailey the rightful position as Chief Resident and fired Callie. I'm very sad about that because heck Callie's been through a ton of stuff recently and just when she was starting to get her groove back...she gets hit with this. I'm hoping that the firing is just that she's no longer Chief Resident and not that she's fired from Seattle Grace completely. That would not be cool.

Meredith and Derek are still at it with their sex but no relationship. Although, their little pillow talks are rather sweet and a little more relationshippy than not. Meredith had more run ins with her sister primarily stemming from Lexie's sexcapade with Alex. Why is it that Alex is always the voice of reason? Is it because he doesn't really care about emotions and just tells it like it is? I loved his line: "You say she's not your sister. You say you don't wanna know her. Then, why do you care so much?" That was great! I'm glad Meredith came around a little bit. She's going to let Lexie in but it's going to be in pieces and Lexie is going to have to be patient. Much like she is apparently patient with her father Thatcher who has become a drunk since the death of his second wife. I knew Thatcher was coming back, and now I'm thinking that Lexie and Meredith may have to work together to get Thatcher back on track. Maybe that will bring them together.

Here's hoping for increased talks between the WGA and the Networks/Producers of our favorite shows. And oh yeah...MOONLIGHT is on tonight!!!
Read It's THURSDAY...and oh yeah...Life was on last night :)
Before I left for work this morning, I was loading a few more dishes into the dishwasher so I could run it during the day (I'm sure there's some plumber out there who would like to tell me how dangerous that is, but it's already done.). Anyway, I tend to have a running dialog in my head of things I'm thinking about. I stopped mid-load and thought...IT'S Thursday!!!...which means Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, and Supernatural!!! Typically, I'm excited that it's Thursday because I'm thatmuch closer to Friday and the weekend, but no...I'm thrilled it's Thursday because I get to watch my very favorite show Supernatural among others. Just thought I'd share the excitement of how these next hours of the work day could move along at rapid speed as far as I'm concerned.

And of course I have some bloggedy goodness on last night's episode of Life; one of the few shows I watch that was actually on last night. The CMA's preempted the ABC shows. Here goes...

Life:
So let's recap...Crews has an orange grove, a huge house with a fabulous view but no furniture, a rockin', rebuilt muscle car, undisclosed millions in the bank, and now...now he wants...a solar farm. Well ok. I'm hoping that one day we actually do get to find out what the undisclosed settlement amount was.

The crime of the week was a crime of passion disguised as a hate-crime murder/kidnapping. It was an interesting twist at the end. Teen angst is so high these days when all they really want is for their parents to care and love them. I have to admit that for a few minutes there I was very suspicious of the sister, but then when she was pulled in to play the video game and get them to level 10, I changed my opinion. That was a really awesome scene with everyone watching and the way the different views were edited. But, seriously, the computer tech who tried first...TMI...he's 30, lives with his mom, and has a Captain Kirk costume in his closet...perhaps there's something else in the closet, too.

In the end, I was very sad that they weren't able to keep the young boy alive so that he could get help, but then again, he was pointing a gun directly to the other guy's head at the time and about to turn and shoot Crews. My only question...does the mom who owns the gas stations not get any punishment? I mean I know the guy was helping her better invest her money...but was all of that on the up and up?

On a different front, we learned some new things about Dani Reese. Her father was a SWAT team leader, Jack Reese, who worked the LA bank robbery 15 years ago. In last week's previews, they had me considering the idea that Dani was the little girl that saw the murder Crews was sent to prison for. I was trying to figure out if she would be old/young enough at this point to have been that little girl. Instead, we learn that the Russian guy from a couple episodes ago meant Dani not his old partner when he told Crews to ask his partner about the robbery. Dani was 12 at the time of the robbery, and her mother was Persian who spoke Farsi whenever Dani's father wasn't in the house. I think there was a disconnect there. At the gas station, I thought Dani and Crews kept asking the daughter to translate for the mother, but then later, Dani started translating for her. Maybe I have that wrong, but I don't know. Anyway...it seems like somehow this bank robbery is connected with Crews's wrongful conviction. More questions than answers on the backstory this time around.

Finally, Ted...I LOVE TED!! And I especially love it when Adam Arkin gets lots of screen time. He's so adorable when he gets upset that he doesn't get to go out and play. He was all set to go see the Solar Farm for Crews when Crews told him that Olivia was coming by and that Ted needed to stay and open the door for her. So, he waits for Olivia and then just takes her with him to the farm...where they get stuck over night. Then we learn that Ted perhaps has a thing for Olivia because she makes him nervous. It was cute and I'm starting to think that Crews's father will not be marrying Olivia if Ted has anything to say about it. :)

One thing I did notice, Ted wears a wedding ring. Does anyone remember a backstory on that? I know that Ted was in prison for insider trading, but I don't know that we know much more than that about his past. I do know that he lives with Crews and we've never seen a wife hanging around Ted...a bit confusing.

Well that's all I got. A little less than 8 hours until Ugly Betty comes on. WOOHOO!!
Read NCIS and Cane
I’m not sure how many more episodes we have left because of the writer’s strike, but both these shows continue to impress, which can be especially hard for a series in its 5th season or its 1st season.

NCIS:
I really enjoyed the way this episode was organized. A couple of shows lately have been using this flashback technique where they show you a scene from later in the episode and then will go to 24 hours or 2 days ago. It was very gut wrenching to have watch Tony try and pull them out of the water and then lay their lifeless bodies on the pier. The preview did a good job of not giving too much away, but just enough. Of course, we knew that Gibbs was never going die, but it was stressful enough anyway.

There was a point during the episode when I wasn’t completely convinced that Maddie was on the up and up. I know she got kidnapped by those guys, but everything seemed to be tied so directly to her that it was a little fishy. Then we found out it was really just all tied to her street address. In the end, I was glad she wasn’t bad because I don’t know how Gibbs would have taken that with Maddie being Kelly’s best friend and all. Gibbs is so incredibly intelligent in figuring these things out. I was very impressed that he didn’t let his emotions cloud his judgment or ability to solve the case.

The crucifixion of Haas was awful. Though we didn’t actually see them do that to him, it was still disturbing. Then Duckie takes him to the morgue to do the autopsy, and Gibbs comes down to ask a question. Duckie figures out the guy was allergic to seafood and lays the medical file right on top of the dead guy’s…well…you know…seriously…who wants to touch that file now.

The part with Tony trying to give them CPR after he pulled them out of the water had just enough comic relief in it to help with the stress: “Don’t make me kiss you, boss.” And it was very sweet how Gibbs and Maddie grabbed hands when they finally came to. Gibbs is like an onion…you peal one layer and there’s another one right behind it. I’m really enjoying the renewed interest in the teams’ backstories since the new writers took over. We get to explore their life away from NCIS a bit more.

This episode ended with a different snapshot then the one provided at the beginning of the scene. That’s the second time this season, and I kind of actually like it. Of course Gibbs didn’t open the time capsule and just went to rebury it. You can see the contents here on CBS.com. It’s really adorable actually.

Cane
Some people out there might not think so, but this show just gets better every week. I know some people gave it up for dead pretty early on, but the stories are getting a little more entangled and more interesting as the episodes go by.

Alex is getting in over his head because he is so focused on the Samuels and Ethanol. He did find some pretty hefty information on the Joe Samuels after his trek up to Canada, but some how I think this is going to backfire. It can’t be that easy to bring Joe Samuels down even if his daughter is not on the outs with him. I still don’t like her. She really, really bothers me. And I don’t trust her any more than I can throw her…and I’m a wimp!

I liked the story line with Henry and Katie. I was wondering how long it would take for Katie to find out that her “boyfriend” was filming them having sex. And Henry really came to her rescue on that one. Looks like the whole family protection thing doesn’t skip any of them. Henry really laid into that guy. I don’t typically advocate violence, but in this case, it was warranted.

The part with Pancho and the Terry (the new masterblender) is actually pretty interesting. They have a good chemistry between them that really is great. Now that Terry knows Pancho is taking medicine will she ever ask about the details? I’ll be interested to see how this storyline plays out. I am very pleased that Pancho finally told Frank that Samuels was responsible for Lucia’s death. The bond between Frank and Alex may grow strong after all.
Read Friday, Sunday, and Monday
I was in mourning yesterday after the Colts loss, so I didn't get to post my thoughts from Friday and Sunday night even though I had them all ready, so here I've got both of those plus last night's The Big Bang Theory.

On a different note, let's all hope for a speedy and positive resolution to the writer's strike, so we can continue to have the producers produce the brilliantly written shows that we know and love.

Enjoy!

Moonlight:
Just as a treat, if you go to this link Moonlight Video on CBS.com, there is a longer version of Mick’s Interview talking about what vampires are really like. It will come up in a pop up window, so be aware of your pop up restrictions when you click on it.

As for the episode that aired last Friday, November 2nd, I have to say we continue to get a lot of satisfying scenes out of this show. Even though I’m still not convinced I want Beth and Mick together, the show is doing a good job of wetting our appetite with their sexual tension, i.e., the scene in the shower with Mick trying to help Beth get over her high from the drug. I’m very concerned about the fact that Beth kept on of the vials and that she asked to be turned when she was high. Only time will tell if/when she chooses to use the extra dose.

Regarding Beth’s boyfriend, Josh, how long before he moves out because he can’t compete with Mick. It’s obvious that the feelings are there for Josh, but Beth is slipping further and further away. Josh can’t compete with the enigmatic lifestyle that Mick brings to Beth, and he shouldn’t have to quite frankly. Josh is one of the good guys, but no matter how much Mick and Beth try to ignore it, there is definite chemistry there between the two. Even Mick’s friend Josef can see it, but he’s pretty perceptive anyway. I enjoyed the fact that this week’s storyline came from Josef. He may be obnoxious, but he’s a fun obnoxious…a charming obnoxious.

I can’t wait for next week’s story about the girl that looks like Corraline. I have a feeling it’s her, which will bring a whole new aspect to the relationship between Mick and Beth.

Cold Case:
So, this week we get the War of the Worlds radio broadcast hoax that was used as a cover for a crime of passion murder. I picked out a couple of culprits in this episode. I was never sold on the idea that Will Paige did anything to Audrey, but I did figure that the other dancer’s fiancé and Audrey’s husband were not on the up and up. Then we learned that the other dancer’s fiancé was a creep who beat her when she wasn’t willing to prostitute herself, and that Audrey’s husband was the real murderer because he couldn’t stand the idea of his wife leaving him for another man and making him more of a disgrace than he already was. I felt for little Dawber having to carry that with him all those years. But, then I felt for the husband having to be arrested when he was already locked within himself because of Alzheimer’s. One thing we did learn was that the Depression turned strong men into broken children.

On another note, I really enjoyed the part with Vera and Toni. It was great to see her, again because I was starting to wonder where she went. I have to say when Vera went to the hospital all prepared to give his straight out the romantic movie speech, I knew it couldn’t end well, and was not at all surprised that Toni made him stop because it just wasn’t the real Vera. It was a romantic gesture, but that’s not him. I found it more appealing and surprising that he even remembered that Sinatra was playing on any of their dates. But hopefully this means we’ll start to see more of Toni in the coming episodes.

I read ahead on the TV Guide.com listings and it appears that the consequences surrounding Scotty’s internal investigation will be revealed the week of Thanksgiving. Pardon me while I roll my eyes continuously because I hate this storyline since it all started from something that Scotty did to save his partner from certain death.

The Big Bang Theory:
Halo night started at least 6 minutes late…heaven forbid! I think this was the episode that put us all in Penny’s corner on how annoying Sheldon can be. Of course, we know he is particular, but wow this was just a full on episode of Sheldonisms, which started with, “What fresh hell is this?” and finished with Halo 3 being better than sex because sex with its nudity, orgasms and human contact has yet to be upgraded with “high def graphics and enhanced weaponry.”

I loved that when Penny slept over they forgot that Raja was still there, and he had to let himself out. Poor guy always gets the short end of the stick, well except for last week at Penny’s Halloween party.

Anyway, Sheldon is a creature of habit in the purest form. He doesn’t eat breakfast in bed because he is “neither an invalid nor a woman celebrating Mother’s Day.” He gets up at the same time every Saturday morning to have cereal with Dr. Who, and then apparently goes off to his bathroom time between 7am and 7:20am. Sheldon also is very particular about his food consumption. We saw this in one episode when they went to Penny’s restaurant and he had a fit about it not being Big Boy. Now, it’s Chinese food which they all apparently share amongst the four of them. Amazing how very deliberate he is about all of this. Is anyone else hoping that he is just a research physicists and no students actually have to take a class with him as the professor??? I do have to say that there was no truer statement than when they were trying to get Penny to play in Howard’s place and she didn’t understand what Sheldon was saying to which he responded, “it’s like talking to a wall.” Really, Sheldon, really…it takes one to know one I suppose!

I know...I know...I haven't put my highlight thoughts up from all the shows I missed blogging about. Yeah I get it...I suck at this, but at least I'm keeping my promise about starting fresh today with new information. Last night was actually kind of fun to get back in the swing of things and pay closer attention than I normally do because I knew I was going to be talking to all of you about Supernatural and Grey's Anatomy, so without further delay...

Supernatural:
*I actually really enjoyed this episode. It reminded me of the good old days when it was just Sam and Dean working it out together. Don't get me wrong, I love Bobby and Ellen and Daddy Winchester (when he was alive), but the show was written to be about these two brothers against the demon world, so when we get a chance to have the show at its core intention, I'll take it!!
*I may be in the minority on this one, but I liked the demon story this week. And I was equally intrigued that they didn't actually have to kill the demon. Sure the now teenage Snow White did die, but Sam and Dean didn't have to bring out the Latin or any holy water or anything like that. They just had to find the root of the problem and get the father to let her go.
*I did have the doctor pegged as someone involved, but I didn't figure him for the actual demon. Not like last week when I so totally saw through the priest from the first second he showed up on screen. I'm glad he turned out to be an ok guy. I was about to be a little concerned that he was so easily convinced about Sam's story of his daughter's spirit until he said, "so you've seen her, too." That was much better than him just blindly believing it.
*We had 5 fairy tales in all: The Three Little Pigs, Hansel and Gretel, Cinderella, and Little Red Riding Hood. Having those stories personified rather than having actual wolves and such involved was a bit creepy. The little old lady in the house in the woods was enough to drive me to not watch another Disney movie for a while, even though their versions are much more tame. But, sheesh...that lady could have killed that guy with her eyes practically.
*In the end, when the doctor finally let his daughter go, it was a perfect way for Sam and Dean to have another I'm dying and you can't stop me heart to heart. But, Dean doesn't want to be just let go. He can't admit he's scared though and he though his motives for bringing Sam back from the dead were selfish, his motives for keeping Sam from getting Dean out of the crossroads deal are selfless because it's keeping Sam alive. Oh that Catch-22 gets you every time!
*As for Sam, I've come to the conclusion that Kripke is going to have to do some heavy convincing of at least me that Sam isn't part evil now. That killing of the Crossroads Demon was pure "I hate you so I'm gonna kill you cause I can." Sam even went so far as to appear like he was having second thoughts about killing her and then caught her off guard. HOLY COW (that's actually what I said outloud last night). I seriously keep waiting for Sam's eyes to turn black like the other demons. Anyone else???
*Other key observations and favorite lines:
--Seriously, how many motels from the 70s does Vancouver actually have? I mean I'm sure some of these hotels are created on the lot, but you have to think that some of them are location shoots. So, how many motels are there in Vancouver like that???
--Sam and Dean arguing:
Sam: You're not dad!
Dean: Ok, but I'm the oldest
--Sam and Dean's discussions about Fairy Tales and how into it Sam is:
Dean: Do you think about fairy tales often?
Later--
Dean: Dude, could you be more gay?...Don't answer that.

Grey's Anatomy:
*Ok. I'm going to get on my Izzie soap box for a minute here because the character really bothers me, so bear with me.
--Will someone please tell Hahn that Izzie is the one who cut Denny's LVAD wire thus making Hahn lose the heart transplant she was fighting with Burke over? I bet that would get her kicked off of cardio quickly!
--Shonda Rimes has always talked about how she writes the dialog for these characters to be more realistic and true to life conversations and experiences. Does that not carry over to their actions? I have it on good authority from a doctor that Izzie would never be let back in a hospital after intentionally cutting the LVAD wire...I don't care how much therapy you give the girl.
--The idea of Izzie and George having sex actually makes me throw up a little in my mouth. They are too much like buddies that I can't get them romantically.
--I think I'm just sick of her winning because she has done a lot of things that warrant her not being a character on this show for a while!
Ok...off the soap box
*I think my favorite part may very well have been George holding the wedding dress and having the peanut gallery sit there like they were watching some sporting event. That was hysterical. I may be cruel and unusual, but I liked Sloan sticking up for Callie and making George do that. I just don't feel like he's suffered enough in all of this.
*Hahn had quite the first day as an official Seattle Grace employee. But she was never more true than when she called Derek and Mark Pretty and Prettier. And mistaking them for being a couple...PRICELESS!!!
*I cannot wait to see how this whole Karev and Lexie thing pans out. Karev is nothing if not honest and he laid it all out on the table for her. She bit and now all she's getting out of him is sex. It's an interesting dynamic though. She doesn't mind getting just sex out of a guy, but seems to be very self aware and ok with herself. Whereas Meredith has abandonment issues and can only go as far as sex with guys. It's almost like Meredith and Karev are the same types of people and Lexie and Derek are the same types of people. Yeah...I'm probably the last one to figure that out...huh!

Alright...that's all I got. I've got an all weekend function this weekend at my church, so I'll be watching the Friday shows at some point Sunday if I can pull myself out of the fetal position after the Colts/Pats game Sunday afternoon to watch them. Have a good one, y'all!

I know you have all been waiting on pins and needles for my plan for this blog, so wait no longer. I'm here to tell you the plan for going forward, and I hope upon hope that I can keep up with it this time around.

I've decided to pick a date on which to just start over. That date will technically be November 2nd, but will feature the November 1st shows. I decided to go with the beginning of November Sweeps since that is an important point in the television industry as well.

The format will be a little different though. Rather than comment on all 7,394 shows that I watch on a weekly basis, I've chosen 1-3 shows each night to write about. This will help me not only continue to enjoying TV but to stay on track with this blog. Bullet points will probably be my chosen style, but I may get a little narrative when I feel like something needs that extra punch.

So...what about what I've missed? Ah, yes...all those notes that I've taken and never got a chance to type up. My plan on that is to do a highlight blog before November 2nd with some of my favorite things in the past episodes because there were some really funny lines and a lot to take in on several shows. So, look for that in the next couple of days.

As for the chosen ones...the shows that will be highlighted on the blog starting November 2nd, please see below. Obviously, I reserve the right to change these choices especially if a particular show gets canceled, but this is the list as it stands now:

Sunday:
Cold Case

Monday:
The Big Bang Theory
K-Ville
October Road (when it returns)

Tuesday:
NCIS
Cane

Wednesday:
Life

Thursday:
Grey's Anatomy
Supernatural
(I decided against Ugly Betty because I noticed I took very few notes most likely because I enjoy the show so much that writing instead of undivided attention made me enjoy the show less.)

Friday:
Moonlight

Thanks, again, to all of you for your input and advice on what I should do. I hope you can find something to enjoy from my blog in the future.
Read YAHOO
First off, let me thank you all for your thoughts and comments on how I should go forward with my TV Blog. I think I've come to a conclusion that combines a lot if not all of your ideas. Stay tuned...

In other news...did y'all see this from Michael Ausiello:

Viva's Dead! Will Brothers & Sisters' Gay Reverend Return?

How do I love thee, cancellation of Viva Laughlin? Let me count the ways….

1) It means there's one less mind-numbingly awful TV show clogging up the airwaves.

2) It hastens the return of TV's best reality series, The Amazing Race.

3) It frees up Eric Winter to return to Brothers & Sisters as Kevin's minister boyfriend.

Regarding that last one, although there's no official deal in place for Winter to reprise his role as Rev. Jason McCallister, his speedy return is a foregone conclusion. And if you don't believe me, believe B&S bossman Greg Berlanti:

"Obviously, we wanted Eric's show to succeed, but we would be psyched to have him back," says Berlanti. "While I can't say what will happen to [Kevin and Jason] romantically, we would love to have Eric back as soon as possible. He's a great actor, and he and Matthew are wonderful together. And there's also the fact that he's McCallister's brother, which we always wanted to explore further."

Barring a writers' strike, I predict Kevin and Jason will be canoodling again by January. You guys agree that this is a good thing, right? And in case there's any confusion, I'm referring to both Viva's demise and Rev. Jason's return.
Read Best Laid Plans
Well it never ceases to amaze me what happens when you try to plan your life.

Last week, I had the best plans to finish out writing up what I had completely caught up on. I swear I'm completely caught up on viewing...just not on writing. Then, I came down with bronchitis, which basically puts me on the couch for two or more days.

So, I have all these notes about all the episodes that I've watched and no time to input them into the blog. And to top it all off, tonight, my beloved Colts are playing Monday Night Football against the Jaguars, which basically puts me on the couch, yelling at the TV for a good 3 hours...oh and shoving the Monday night shows to another time.

Oh for the love...when will I ever get caught up? Here's what I'm thinking. Y'all tell me which proposal you like best:

1. I pick a date just say I'm starting over...eliminating the need to post my thoughts from the episodes I have watched.

Or

2. I can pick just a few shows on my schedule that I highlight in my blog instead of posting about every show I watch. Here's the list of shows I had on my schedule in September: New Fall Season.

Ok. So what should I do?
