Last night, the ballots for the 2008 Emmy Awards were released online for voters. But there was just one thing missing: Last year's Drama Supporting Actress winner Katherine Heigl was nowhere to be found!!! And it wasn't a mistake.
In a statement given to Tom O'Neil over at The Envelope, Heigl states:
"I am truly grateful for the honor that the Academy bestowed upon me last year. I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the Academy organization, I withdrew my name from contention. In addition, I did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials."
I think she's doing the right thing. She didn't do much this season, and an Emmy nomination this year would have been undeserving. But I can't help but wonder if this statement is a slap in the face to all the writers who work on Grey's. What do you think?

Lost's season finale began tonight. And yes, I'll confess, I totally read the spoilers on this first part.
But, that still didn't stop my mind from being totally blown away by what I saw on my television screen.
From all the flashforwards (Sun! Nadia! The numbers! Jack learning about Claire!) to everything on the island and the boat. All of it was incredible.
But BY FAR, the best part, was this quote, by Ben:
"You know those are 15 years old."
Ben and Hurley scenes are amazing. Period.
Episode Grade: A+
These next two weeks are going to be the longest two weeks ever.

Wow. It's been over a year since my last (and first) blog. Sorry about that everyone. I'll try updating this more often. Like... right now.....
- I still love Friday Night Lights. Season 2 wasn't as good as Season 1, but it was still amazing, murder and bad nurse character included. I really can not wait for Season 3 (and that Matt/Julie reunion I've been waiting for since "Who Do You Think You Are?").
- I am in awe with Lost. This season has been INCREDIBLE!! This Thursday and the first part of the season finale can not come soon enough.
- Tina Fey is amazing. Can I mention that? Because she is a damn genius. Love 30 Rock.
- I'm loving the fact that most of the shows I don't like are getting cancelled. And I feel bad for all the people who do like those shows. But I just can't get rid of the smile on my face.
That's all. Later days...

Thought I'd wite a blog now since I have an account, and the first thing I want to say is this:
I LOVE FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS!
I mean, really, is there anything else out there that is this good? I'll answer my own question with a no. Because there isnt. Yes, shows like Grey's Anatomy are good, but they dont match to the perfection that is this show.
I could go on and on and on about why I love this show so much, but I'll save that for later, when the first season is officially over. And hearing the news today that NBC has ordered 6 scripts for next season, I thought I'd might be in tears. Really. One step closer to a full on renewal. I trust NBC can do this. They can make it the hit is truely deserves to be.
The season finale is tomorrow night. I want everyone reading this to watch it. If your a new viewer and not obessed by the end, well then you are crazy (or should watch the other episodes on nbc.com as you probably wont known the full story).
Til then, later days.
