Christmas in April: Come play with our new toys

Good morning Bloggers! I haven't been this excited since my ~~honeymoon~~ eh, since I discovered this wonderful Community 2 years ago. I'm in the mood for a good day of blogging, plus Mama-Warden is busy ~~getting away from me~~ running errands and sent my cousin (the-push-over) to watch me. Can you say "substitute teacher"! So, I have at least 3 or 4 good hours to blog. Yesterday, Panns introduced her Blog Buddies to the wonderful world of ~~"Strike Outs"~~ (I couldn't resist) and Photobucket. In one word - I AM IN HEAVEN!!!! ok, 4 words, so sue me So... Leave a Comment

Rev - I got up this morning - checked my email. Paid bills. Looked at pictures of my new great niece. And then read your blog. Wish I'd done that first. Well, maybe I should have looked at the baby pictures first. But you get the idea. You and my new niece are tied for first place as the best way to get my day started!

Hi Tazzy! You're up pretty early, aren't you? It is good to see you around too. I know work been pretty intense for you and due to the writers' strike we haven't had too many opportunities to chat. I hope that changes soon. I know how you feel about the "bills thing", unfortunately. Congrats on the new baby. I love babies.

Hi Mdaly. I noticed you on the Testing blog. So, your name beginsw ith a "M". Hmm. Listen, if any M&Ms approach you,

RUN! Don't ask any questions. Don't look behind you and for Goodness sake, don't eat any of their candy!!! Just take off. Even better, drop to the ground and play dead. They'll sniff you, search your pockets, use your cell phone and then leave. Its my duty to look out for any Newbies I see.

Vee!!!!!! Yay! I didn't miss the party for once. I'm glad I didn't do my normal sleep-in Saturday. I don't have a cool accent to say it in, but I'm glad to see you out and about, too.

Vee, I was a lurker for a long time, and cracked up (pun intended) at the writings of M&Ms...

But I gotta tell you: I have been chased by bulls (don't ask, it's not pretty!), so the being chased by M and M's strategy of dropping to the ground and letting them sniff about... this I know something about. LOL!! But it's nice to know that I have a Rev in my corner (with a bat, right?) who will chase them away if they sniff too much or make my cell phone bill go any higher.

Hi again ladies! Its an overcast day today, but I am going to get someone to take me outside for some fresh air. I really want to go home and sleep in my own bed but Mommy would throw a fit. How's things?

I'm happy it's the weekend. We played in a trivia night last evening and one of the categories was TV. They gave 4 characters and you had to name the show. The moderator said "Emily, Richard, Lorelai, and Rory" and Eric and I immediately said Gilmore Girls. No one else at the table knew it. Weird....

FI!!!!!

Not much going on here. I volunteered to babysit today, but the kids aren't here yet. My back is pleasantly sore (in a way that lets you know you did something other than sit on your tush all day) from going to the driving range yesterday. Matt got a bonus in the form of a family membership to a country club nearby, so I'm thinking I should take up golf to take full advantage of it. Plus, I see these tiny women on tv whacking away like nobody's business...if they can do it, I can do it, right? :-p
