The Shining -- a comedy

You know, on Halloween there're lots of folks trying to scare us with things that we'd normally be happy to see. But what if someone took something frightening and made it heartwarming?

That was truly strange!

Yes, that was definitely odd.

A colleague that saw it said it shows the power of editing and sound and I completely agree.

Have you ever seen Jimmy Kimmel's "Unnecessary Censorship" pieces on his show? That is another example of the power of editing.

Haven't had the chance to check that out on Jimmy Kimmel, but I'll have to keep an eye out for it.

He does this weekly, I found this on Youtube, I think it is old. Please, all those faint of heart don't watch.

Cindy,
You know what? I've seen this particular clip before. Didn't realize it was Kimmel. Going to have to check out the rest of them on You Tube.
Very funny stuff.

That Shining Clip was freaky. I always knew it was the music that scared me. What was the song playing at the end of the clip? It sounds very familiar, but I can't think of it.

Cindy, loved the youtube stuff, very funny. I can't stay up late enough to watch Jimmy Kimmel, wish I could now.

I have seen The Shining about a gazillion times. I never thought I would see it as "heartwarming"!

Trish, the song was Solsbury Hill by Peter Gabriel.
