Don't Forget Your Sweater

So, as I left for work this morning, I thought I'd wear my sweater in honor of Sweater Day, which is being held in honor of Mr. Rogers.

Frankly I just thought it would be a nice thing to do. Truth is, my cube here is freezing today.

So I'm wearing my sweater and a lot happier than if I didn't.

Thanks again, Mr. Rogers!

Did you wear your sweater?

I wore my sweater and even changed my shoes when I got to work while singing the song. For some weird reason, my boss wants me to take a drug test now.

I've got my sweater ready. Funny thing though. My son was a Captain Kangaroo man. He wouldn't watch Mr. Rogers.

I remembered my sweater, David! (It is short sleeved, but I think it still counts...it is a little warm here in SC.) Thanks for telling us about it originally and for the reminder. I even put on some tennis shoes today so I could be all decked out like Mr. Rogers. :)

I didn't know about this.

Does a sweatshirt count?

When Mr. Rogers died, it was on the front page of my University's newpaper and there was a big article with quote from students. I bet I still have that somewhere.

Mannie, I didn't get that request until Daniel Tiger and Lady Elaine Fairchild stopped by.

I never fully got Captain Kangaroo's appea, Vickie. Plus, he wasn't on every day like Mr. Rogers, but he was ok by me.

Thanks for wearing your sweaters and being a little more neighborly today.

You didn't get the Captain! I'm SHOCKED! :) I grew up with him. Loved the ping pong balls, Bunny Rabbit, Mr. Moose and Mr. Green Jeans. And don't forget Grandfather Clock!

I tried, best I could Vickie. Though I did kind of like Bunny Rabbit and always thought Mr. Greenjeans had a great name.
