Showtime Scoops Up Inside the NFL
Four months after getting punted by HBO, Inside the NFL has found a new home. Showtime has decided to pick up the long-running football studio show, which will be produced by corporate sibling CBS Sports, along with NFL Films.
“CBS Sports is proud to expand its association with the National Football League and the award-winning team at NFL Films," says Sean McManus, CBS News and Sports president. “We look forward to bringing the show to a new stage with a new team of talent and to continue to make history in the style that has been recognized for more than three decades.”
The show will air Wednesdays at 9 pm/ET, premiering Sept. 10. Hosts have yet to be announced.

I will wait and see who they line up as talent before I add Showtime. But I am glad that they found a new home. HBO was crazy to dump the show.
Now if only the cable companies and NFL Network will resolve their differences, I would be happy. Just give me the damn channel!

All the more reason Showtime is the new HBO.... I think as more and more quality stuff has landed at Showtime, more subscribers will take it on... I find myself watching Showtime stuff more and more.... And they have everything On Demand as well!!!! So anybody who signs up now can catch up on all the good stuff like Dexter ( uncut), Weeds, Brotherhood, Californication, and The Tudors....

Thank you Showtime - Inside the NFL has been a wonderful, informative show and a staple in our household. It would have been greatly missed.

Can not believe HBO let Inside the NFL go - that's like killing off Santa on Christmas Day. Thank you SHOWTIME for picking them up... but question - why aren't you keeping the same hosts!!? Please don't put Theisman or Madden!!! Love Cris, Chris, and Dan!!!
