Annika Sorenstam appearance on Late Show with David Letterman courtesy CBS
A day after announcing her retirement, LPGA star Annika Sorenstam stopped by the Ed Sullivan Theater to help Dave Letterman out with his Top Ten List. The 37-year-old Swede, winner of 72 LPGA tournaments (including 10 Majors), presented the Top Ten reasons she is retiring on Wednesday's Late Show. Among the funniest were No.'s 4 through 2:
4. "Who can focus on golf when Lauren and Audrina are fighting on The Hills?"
3. "I want to spend more time with Brett Favre's family"
2. "I just want a job where I can sit in a cubicle instead of being stuck on a golf course all day"

Sorenstam will continue to compete through the remainder of the LPGA season, including this week's Sybase Classic in Clifton, N.J. The tournament begins Thursday, with ESPN2 providing coverage Friday (May 16, 1:30 pm/ET), Saturday (May 17, 2 pm/ET) and Sunday (May 18, 2 pm/ET).
