Robin Roberts Returns to Work Monday

Robin Roberts is expected to return to her coanchor job on Good Morning America on Monday, 10 days after undergoing surgery to treat breast cancer.

“She is still awaiting her test results, but is feeling great and looking forward to getting back to work,” GMA spokeswoman Bridgette Maney tells TV Guide.

The ABC newswoman is not yet undergoing further treatment, the type of which should be determined by the results of her medical tests. — Reporting by Ileane Rudolph

Are you kidding me. People don't fake cancer just to boost ratings. If you don't like the show don't watch it. I think Robin is very courageous for making her illness public. I wish her all the best and hope you Patak grow a concious. Did your mother never teach you if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything all!!

Gee Patak, were you bored or something??? First of all may you never get cancer b/c then you might understand that the last thing anyone wants to do is sit around and wait for medical tests results. Secondly, it's August, hardly sweeps time.

Go for it Robin and live your life doing what you love!

Don't you DAREsay that this was a crappy way to boost ratings. Cancer is NOTa joke. I have had three relatives die of cancer, and it is no laughing matter. I think what Robin did is very brave, and I wish her all the best, and she has the biggest support group around her as anyone should. Nexttime, you might want to think about what you are saying and how it might be offensive to some people.

I don't watch Good Morning America or any morning show for that matter... these people couldn't find a news story with a flashlight, a man and a Turkish guide... they are a joke... and this certainly is not news worthy...
