GMA's Robin Roberts to Start Chemo

Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts begins chemotherapy Thursday to treat breast cancer, but still plans to work as much as she can. "Part of the reason I am coming forward is in case you tune in and it looks like Kojak is sitting next to Diane, you’ll understand why," Roberts said today on GMA.

Roberts had surgery Aug 3. Following chemotherapy, she will have radiation treatment.

I want the best for RR. I will keep her close in my thoughts and prayers, AND on my screen each AM. As the cooler weather approaches, no doubt GMA will provide all our GMA folks with some fantastically stylish headgear.

Robin sets a very good example for women going through the same thing, she is a very strong woman, and I pray that everything goes well for her, I am sure it will, attitude is half the battle and hers is great, the best of luck to you.
