Dancing Star Jane Seymour's Mother Passes Away

Jane Seymour's mother, Mieke Frankenberg, passed away Monday in England due to complications from a stroke she suffered earlier this year. She was 92.

Seymour, who's currently a contestant on ABC's Dancing with the Stars, will miss Tuesday's results show to fly to England for the funeral services. In a statement released on Tuesday, Seymour referred to the challenges her mother faced throughout her lifetime, including a three-and-a-half-year stint in a Japanese concentration camp, but concluded by saying, "Her spirit was indomitable and will continue to live forever in our hearts."

Seymour has often (including in this recent TVGuide.com feature) said her mother was a big fan of Dancing with the Stars and was one of the reasons the actress decided to participate in the show. Seymour's reps say it's unclear when the star will return to the dance floor. — Reporting by Ali Gazan and Deborah Starr Seibel

I sure hate that! Jane was doing a great job and she brings so much elegance to this season's show. I pray that she and her family will be able to endure this change of life. Mother's are rare and wonderful jewels from God. I know, because my mother is a jewel in my eyes! Sincerely, Dr. Ikie

I will really miss Miss Seymour, as she is a truly lovely person, and I believe she really had a chance at a spot at the top of the group.

My Sincere Prayers to you & your family in your hour of need. I know what it is like to lose parents cause i lost both in less than a year apart of each other. Also a long-time fan of yours & DWTS, please consider honoring your mother by coming back to win the trophy or at least trying for your mom. The Elegant English Lady has left and leaves a void. I was so hoping that you would win DWTS trophy for your mother. Hopefully the saying is true, The Show Must Go On. My love :-x
