Zach Braff, whose Scrubs someday (...possibly) might wrap up its final season, is in talks to direct and executive-produce Saint of Circumstance, a drama pilot for Fox. Per the Reporter, The Office's David Denman would front the series as a man in a midlife crisis who quits his office job to instead toil as a night-shift paramedic. The pilot, penned by Braff's brother Adam, would shoot once the you-know-what has ended.

Excellent news. Some of us remember him as Cordelia's guide, Skip, in Angel.

Now, let the you-know-what end. Back to the table, people!

GREAT news! I've missed Dave Denman since his stint on The Office, and I can't wait to see what he can do with a role like this. And with Zach Braff behind it all?? Come on, AMPTP, you know you want to see this, too!

Geez, Dave Denman gets a series just when I was wondering if there would ever be another semi-regular on a major series with less charisma than David Rees Snell. Live and learn.
