Raise your hand if you saw this coming: Donald Trump and MTV are collaborating on Pageant Place, a reality series that will find Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA cohabitating in a New York City apartment. (It's like the Justice League, only with whiter smiles.) Says Variety, semi-disgraced former Miss USA Tara Conner will serve as a "den mother" to the three title-holders.... Uber-emotional Anna Nicole Smith Judge Larry Seidlin has committed to develop a fall 2008 court show with CBS Television Distribution, says Broadcasting & Cable.... A new Speed Racer animated series is set to launch next year on Nicktoons.... Nick Jr. has renewed Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! for a second season.

Well, Matt, you're right. I saw these coming. Especially Trump's show and Seidlin's taking a crack at television. I think I'm actually going to get through my stack of books now.

Wow! Great idea! All the pagents are falling in the ratings, so let's try to up the ratings by making a reality show so you can get to know the winners. That'll be a ratings booster!!! I hope they at least fight crime or something.

After a night on the town, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA get pissed about Miss Universe's superiority complex an ponder why there has never been a Miss Universe from Mars or Saturn.

The girls display their real "talents" by tying a cherry stem with their tongues, swallowing swords and shooting ping pong balls from...

Trump stops by and informs the gilrs that Pageant Place is the number one show on cable television despite it being beaten by reruns of What's Happening and The Andy Griffith Show on TV Land.

I'm guessing that sentence is supposed to read:

Judge Larry Seidlin should be committed.
