In the Works: A Merry Shrekmas, More Sunny Days
ABC is calling upon the big green guy to usher in a new holiday tradition, developing a half-hour animated special based on Shrek, and featuring the voices of Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy and Antonio Banderas. The special will pick up where the forthcoming Shrek the Third feature leaves off, and is set to debut in December 2007.... Per Variety, FX has picked up It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia for a third, 15-episode season, to premiere next summer.... CBS has given a pilot order to an ensemble drama about a team of public defenders, from Law & Order/Numbers vet Barry Schindel.

15 episodes of sunny!!!! this is the best news i've heard since scrubs's return date was announced. bring on the summer

I couldn't agree more about Sunny in Philadelphia maclapp. In fact, I had just e-mailed Matt Roush about that and Campus Ladies. He said that F/X was having a problem finding a comapanion comedey to go with it and he hadn't heard anything at the time. It's one of the funniest shows on tv, I just wish we didn't have to wait till summer for it.

This is amazing news!! About Sunny that is... I was starting to get a little worried. And 15 episodes!?!?! That is awesome!! I am so excited!
I would love for it to get some Emmy love, it is one of the best comedies on television today.

Matt, is Danny Devito returning to Sunny? This is some great news in an otherwise devastating news day (Britney & K-Fed, Faith disses Carrie, etc).
