In the Works: Craig Ferguson Is... "The Wizard"?
CBS has greenlit Life as a Song, in which regular folk who have something to announce are given the opportunity and trained to deliver the news in song/dance (I'm grimacing just typing that), as well as The Wizard, a game-show/improv/sketch-comedy hybrid fronted by Late Late Show's Craig Ferguson.... Also per Variety, CBS has tapped Drew Carey to host the Family Feud-esque quiz show Power of 10.... Fox has greenlit a pilot for Off the Charts, in which contestants must "sing in the blanks" of a chosen song. Yes, it's near-identical to NBC's The Great American Singing Bee.

what's with all these game show? I think they should pull ideas for game show from Wierd Al's "UHF" , now those shows I might watch! Come on tonight on... "Bowling for Burgers" it would be a smash hit for NBC. One request, somebody please give Norm MacDonald a show.

BORING!!!! If I want to watch "regular folk," I can go to work or the mall. What happened to writers using their imagination and writing scripts for dramas or sitcoms? Regular folk are usually less talented than actors. That's why they're regular folk.
