Wonderfalls Team and ABC Pray for Miracle

Ever-underappreciated TV journeyman Tim Minear and Emmy-winning director Todd Holland, with whom Minear collaborated on the critically praised Wonderfalls, have landed a pilot commitment from ABC for Miracle Man, the Reporter reports. The drama — which sparked a bidding war between ABC and Fox — focuses on a disgraced televangelist who realizes that God is using him to perform real miracles and get Drive back on the air change lives. Man, everyone from Wonderfalls is working on ABC shows now. Todd, Tim, Bryan.. maybe if Wonderfalls had been on ABC, it wouldn't have been cancelled? If only..

If those guys are smart, they wouldn't signs with FOX. Minear and FOX doesn't married well. For the love of god please signs with ABC.

Could we hope that Nathan Fillion only lasts one season on HOUSEWIVES, so he can star in this one? Or is that too much of a jinx for the show?

I give it three weeks. They are too smart for America's viewers.

This show sounds a whole lot like "Wonderfalls". I'm not complaining but I wish ABC would just have picked up "Wonderfalls".

The ironic thing is that "Wonderfalls" was just a little ahead of its time, it would completely fit now on TV, especially on ABC.

Tim and Todd, I hope this means Katie Finneran will be on TV again. And Caroline Dhavernas, and Tyron Leitso (hey, it's my wishlist).....

I love all of Tim's shows, whether they be short or very short. I hope the show does well and that we see cameos from some of the Buffy/Wonderfalls/Drive etc former cast members.

I wish!

I'm there for whatever Tim puts on, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for him. Hopefully ABC appreciates him more than Fox did.

Can they please, please find a role for Caroline Dhavernas, the lovely Canadian girl who played Jaye on "Wonderfalls"?

She should still be on television.

YES! Finally, another network other than FOX has called dibs on a Tim Minear show! Me thinks now the show actually has double the chances of surviving. FOX is the real kiss of death of all of Tim's shows, period.

Ugly Betty, Brothers & Sisters, Pushing Daisies, and now this. I'm so loving ABC right now.

Can't believe none of you have pointed out that the Wonderfalls invasion has already begun. Lee Pace, the star of Pushing Daisies was Aaron Tyler, Jaye's older brother on that great, great show.
