Vieira Returns to The View, 87 Host-swaps Later
Today coanchor Meredith Vieira will make her first return to ABC's The View — where she served as moderator for nine seasons — on Oct. 8, in the name of promoting Who Wants to Be a Millionaire's 1,000th episode and new DVD game.
Other dates to save:
• Entourage: Season 3 arrives on DVD Oct. 2.
• Style Network's Fin-tastic How Do I Look? returns for an eighth season on Oct. 1.

Exactly ctheslayer! I won't say I watched it EVERY day when she was there, but I was much more inclined to. When Rosie came on there I NEVER watched it. Since Rosie, it can't do anything but get BETTER!

On days when Barbara is gone -- and she claims she'll be on less now that they have a full crew again -- the four panelists will be:
Comedian (Whoopi)
Comedian (Joy)
Comedian (Sherri)
and Elisabeth
No more journalist (Meredith). No more lawyer (Star). I think the show will suffer compared to The View of yesteryear with the numbers skewed like this.

Funny no title next to Elisabeth? What is she Reality show Cast off?
IMO Meredith was the best part of the show she out did all of them.

I was sad to see that it was just as a guest spot. Was hoping she was returning for good so that I could go back to watching The Today show again! I miss Matt and Al and Ann, but can't stand her on it.

I like MV, but not on the View when she was on there is was boring. Asfor all of those people who keeps saying they want more journalist and less comedians watch 20/20. The View has never been better except when Rosie was on there thats why I watched, I miss her, but I still watch it. I hardly ever watched before Rosie it was to uptight and stuffy. Not any more it has only got better. I will welcome her back to the View, but please don't out stay your welcome. I did like her on Today, but I am boycotting Today after what happen to Passions.
