Ugly Betty Books a "Fierce" Guest Star

Project Runway's Season 4 winner Christian Siriano will pay a visit to "Mode" magazine in an upcoming episode of Ugly Betty.

Siriano will be joined by Project Runway judge and Elle Magazine fashion director Nina Garcia. The episode will be shot in early April and will air during May sweeps.

Betty is no stranger to fashion-forward guests — Victoria Beckham, Vera Wang, Kenneth Cole and fellow Project Runwayer Tim Gunn have made appearances in the past. Do you think Christian's guest spot will be fierce, or will it be a hot tranny mess? — Adam Bryant

Fierce. The shows quirkiness fits him. He was a bit out of place on "Make Me a Supermodel", but he'll fit right in on "Ugly Betty. :)

Fierce mess?

No, definitely not. It's going to be fierce, of course! Why? Because Christian himself is already a character, they don't need to write anything for him, just let him loose for 5 minutes. Besides, I don't think there has been a single Ugly Betty guest star that I haven't liked. Ooh, they should get Chris March too!

for the love of all that you consider holy will people PLEASE. STOP. USING "FIERCE"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good god I can't think of a more annoying "catch-phrase". UGH. I hated the twit partly because of his insistence on using this uber outdated slang. I'm surprised he didn't break out any "You go girl!"s while he was it. Annoying.

So does he plan on stealing ALL of Chris Kattan's roles, or just this one?

vjw--"if this show (which I love) keeps raising the bar on the homo scale then I'm done watching it."

Then stop watching.

"Marc was ok when he was relegated to banter with Willie or Amanda, but now that they've introduced a boyfriend, it forces me to tape the show so I can fast forward all those scenes. Gross."

You're ignorant.

Why is not wanting to see displays of homosexuality on television ignorant? Just because I know it's out there doesn't mean I want to watch or see it. We're all just supposed to sit back and applaud because of our "open- mindedness" toward homsexuality. Well, excuse me for wanting to shield my family from certain things. The open displays (or even more subtle ones) turn a perfectly charming show into something I now have to explain. It's a shame.
