One Tree Hill Exclusive: Lucas and Haley Get Busy!

The young'uns down in North Carolina are branching out.

Chad Michael Murray — perhaps tired of being asked, "What's next for Lucas?" — will set out to actually unspool what's next for his alter ego, as the writer of a One Tree Hill episode airing late this coming season.

I have also learned exclusively that Bethany Joy Galeotti is ready for her own "first time" — as a director, and will call the shots from behind the camera for one episode.

Offering each multitasking cast member expert guidance in their respctive endeavors will be series creator Mark Schwahn. — Matt Mitovich

Always knew that Bethany Joy Galeotti was a super talented person- first as an actress, then as a singer/musician, now as a director! Can't wait to see her ep come to fruition.

I'm sorry but when I read this I immediately thought that this was a way to get them to stay with the show after their contracts end. I think everyone is presuming that it would be chad that would be the s**t disturber and want to leave the show after his contract. By giving him this he might be more inclined to stay. And with Joy, well she deserves the directing- I love her. I'm just hoping she doesn't turn into Paul who is directing all the time (and therefore Dan isn't in the show as much as I would like)

I can't wait for this show to come back! this one is my favorite! but wheres the scoop.... who did lucas call? what happen to whitey? is karen coming back? any more kids for nathan and hallie? why doesn't skills and peyton hookup? man sept is too long to wait..... but I guess I will

I feel so let down! I could care less about whether the actors are allowed to write or direct episodes. I was hoping and expecting some storyline info

tdrascal You want some real scoop check out my podcast The One Tree Hill Connection on itunes. My spoilers will tell you who Lucas calls and what happens next - including a trip to Vegas. Now that is real scoop. This info on Chad and Joy was on The CW pop-up of the rerun last night.

I was so excited to read this cause I thought it was going to be story line scoop. I'm so anxious to find out who Lucas called. Now that October Road is officially over anyone else hoping that Bryan Greenburg will bring Jake back to One Tree Hill? Maybe that way Peyton will finally get out of the way so Brooke & Lucas can be together...as they should be!!

Nope Bryan Greenburg is gone and not coming back to One Tree Hill he stated that in an interview. And Jake was just a plot point for Peyton and a subsitute family. And just as a hint if you are a Lucas and Peyton lover you will get repaid in season six for the deplorable plots and the way LP was treated and written in season five.

I'm actually not a Lucas/Peyton lover. I don't like them together, mostly cause I'm not a Peyton fan at all. I prefer him with Brooke even though it sounds like that is a long shot.

It is more then a long shot. Sorry Brooke and Lucas are but a memory. It is finally to end the series the way it started and the way it was supposed to be from the pilot "a world where Lucas and Peyton are togehter." Game, set, match LP.

Unless you write the show, you don't know for sure that Lucas and Brooke are but a memory. The writers could change their mind at any time and break up Lucas and Peyton up for good.
