Tom Cruise: It's a Privilege to Be a SAG Presenter

Tom Cruise has signed on to be a presenter at this Sunday's Screen Actors Guild Awards, joining the ranks of fellow superstars who've already penciled it in, the AP reports.

Cruise got his presenter's chops warmed up at last year's Academy Awards, but has not yet been part of the SAG roster. The actor also got his publicity wheels warmed up earlier this month when a so-called unauthorized biography about him was released, and a video in which he pontificates about Scientology's value appeared on the Internet. Cruise will be joining fellow presenters Steve Carell, Kate Hudson, Matthew McConaughey and Forest Whitaker, among others. — Anna Dimond

I won''t be watching the SAG awards, mainly because I am disgusted over what has happened to the Golden Globes and will probably happen to the Oscars.

The great thing about Tom as a presenter: if there are any accidents, drug addicts, or criminals needing rehabilitation at the SAG Awards, he's right there to help! And the good news is that it will require nothing more than vitamins and exercise.

I would not be watching the SAG award show too! It would be all about self-loathing anyway! I would not waste my time on the WGA and SAG self promoting acts.

If crazy Tom does something outragous, I can always catch it on the Internet or Cable news channels.

That Jerry O'Connell video is the BEST. I saw it earlier today and it cracks me up. Nothing better than the stars now making fun of Cruise, does he not see what he's doing? What a moron!
