TNT Eyes Two New Series, While Saved... Isn't

TNT is in talks to grant series orders to the drama pilots Grace (starring Holly Hunter as an Oklahoma City police detective at times visited by an angel) and Heartland (Treat Williams as a heart surgeon). In other TNT news, sources tell the Hollywood Reporter that Tom Everett Scott's Saved has perished after one season. Seriously, they used the paddles and everything.

I really tried to like Saved but it was hard and I gave up after about three epsisodes. It was very annoying and unrealistic and the main character wasn't very likable at all. I like the actor who portrayed him but they should have made him more likable.

I really liked Saved, and I cannot believe they have cancelled it, and Blade both after just one season. They were both on my TIVO high priority, MUST WATCH list!!!!!

I really liked Saved. And I liked the main character with his flaws. Shows no one's perfect. I hate it when shows get canceled before the audience finds out what happens! The last episode was a cliffhanger, not knowing if his partner is alive after the crash. No fair!

I guess that as viewers we should always assume the shows we are watching won't be renewed. Actually, we should probably assume that they might end at any time. There have been so many disappointments over the past few years that we shouldn't be surprised, and yet we are. SAVED was a good show. To end it without resolution of the cliffhanger in the season ender is down right sad. Once again the viewer seems to count very little in the whole scheme of things.
