Miley Cyrus' upcoming movie — an offering to fans who couldn't score seats for her sellout, big-ticket tour — is repeating history by selling out at record rates. The AP reports that the film, Miley Cyrus & Hannah Montana: Best of Both Worlds Concert, which is open for its one-week stint until Feb. 1, is already setting records.
Tickets went on sale Dec. 1, but the buzz is heating up as opening night draws closer. Miley's flick, which highlights her performances from her recent 54-date tour, accounted for 30 percent of Thursday's sales at Fandango.com. The site's CEO said that the teen phenom's film has been "the best-selling concert movie in Fandango's history."
