Stepliana, I'm also in shock about Apolo. I never would have thought he'd do a show like this. But judging by the way that man skates, I'm sure he'll do well in this competition.
But I'll also be rooting for Shandi. She's cute as a button with Chuck Woolery on Lingo.... yeah, I need a life.

Heather Mills? Good grief.....
Wouldn't it be hard to do some of the dance steps and routines with an artifical leg? Hey, more power to her if she can do it though...I guess...
Do the participants get paid for doing this show? Or is it for the exposure? I know many have benefitted from the weekly exposure, some have had their careers jumpstarted. But Heather Mills? The divorce settlement must not be going so well after all.

The "stars" do get paid. I think last season they got $225,000+. Does anyone know who the professional dancers are going to be?

Seriously? I thought it was a joke that Mills was going to be on DWTS. Nobody will vote for her. I don't even think she can score any one-legged-dancer-sympathy-votes with the way a lot of people feel about her. Her own country can't stand her. Why does she think we will?
I like the other "stars" and might actually watch this show for the first time because of the lineup.
As for Apolo, I was thinking "holy crap" when I read his name, but in a good way. Seeing him only every 4 years in the winter olympics wasn't nearly often enough. Now we'll get to see him and his speed-skatin' thighs every single week on national tv.

I'm sure Heath is doing it to try to get some people on her side. I'm surprised she'll have time to dance though. It seemed like fleecing Paul was a full-time job.

ABC.com has the list of the stars w/the professionals they'll be dancing with. Ian lucked out - he gets Cheryl Burke!! Good for him b/c I love me some Steve Sanders!!

My only question is why no title for Ian Ziering? Either he's too far down the has-been list of celebrities that it's not even worth it to explain who he is or you think, "He's Ian Ziering, doggoneit, he needs no intro!"
I won't watch the show until Heather Mills is voted off. She's pathetic and tacky and stupid to think she could ever try to besmirch a Beatle and keep her dignity in tact. I'd rather have her wooden leg on the show than her.

Paulina is lucky. She has hottie Alec as her partner.
Julianne Hough was in the company on the DWTS tour. She did a good job.
Ashley isn't back. I liked her.
Ian has his work cut out for him being with Cheryl. She's got a title to defend!
I'll be rooting for Leeza since we both went to USC and for Cheryl.
