Sports Night Alum Heats Up Six Degrees
Josh Charles, best known for his turns on Sports Night and in the film Dead Poet's Society, joins ABC's Six Degrees starting April 13, TVGuide.com has learned. Charles will play a man from Whitney's (Bridget Moynahan) past who will shake things up for the duration of the season, which resumes this Friday at 9 pm/ET. As part of a Six Degrees feature posting tomorrow, executive producer Stuart Zicherman describes Charles' character as "flawed, and you're not sure what he's up to," and says that he arrives on the scene in "a very McDreamy sort of way." Whoa, Mer sleeps with him, too?! She's shameless, really.
For more on Six Degrees' return, watch for Friday's Interviews & Features.

I guess I'm surprised to read that they're still even filming let alone adding cast members. I thought they were just going to burn off episodes on Friday nights...?
Is there really a high likelihood the show will be back? Or are they trying to give thorough closure (doubtful).
Strange.

I for one have been looking forward to the return of this show and hope that it can attract a decent enough following that it may make a season 2. Having it air on Friday nights isn't very promising though!

Awww, I love Josh Charles... Not enough to watch Six Degrees but still...awww.
I hope they don't try to paint him as a bad boy, roguish type. He doesn't look it. He's such a sweetie.

I don't watch the show, but I have to appreciate any time someone does a Sports Night shout-out. The first season of that show ranks as one of the best I've ever seen (the second got a little too sitcom-y as Sorkin focused a little more attention on the West Wing and on crack).

Love Josh Charles, why is he doing this to me? I don't want to watch six degrees but now I will have to. I miss him. Why is he the only Sports Night alumn who's not on my TV. Unfair!
