Per Variety, TV Land has bought off-network rights to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, the cabler's first-ever purchase of a reality series and only the second time it has grabbed a show currently on the air. EM:HE will air Tuesdays at 11 pm/ET, starting Aug. 7.... Out on DVD today: Meatballs: Special Edition, and CHiPs' Season 1 (see Erik Estrada Q&A).
