Short Cuts: Mean Girls, Pussycat Dolls and More
Sophia Bush's underrated The Hitcher remake — and I say that even though she dissed me on a Q&A — arrives on DVD May 1.... Ghost: Special Collector's Edition is now out on DVD.... Mean Girls: The E! True Hollywood Story premieres March 17 at 6 pm/ET.... Best TV capsule review I've seen in ages: "9 pm, CW: The Search for the Next Doll: The girls are dropped off at Hollywood and Vine, and the one who returns with the least money after two hours is removed from competition. Just kidding." Props to the New York Daily News' David Bianculli.... If in your lifetime you read only one pithy retort from me, make sure that it's the one found here. I feel very strongly about it.

Re your pithy retort, well said. I appreciate your comprehensive reporting (and retorting). I don't go to other sites to get my entertainment news. I don't need to. You do a great job reporting it and doing so in an entertaining manner. I'm glad your boss agrees and gave you a huge raise as appreciation.

Amen and props to my comment predecessor. I read a number of dailies online every day for "real" news, but every morning at 9, Matt's blog is my one and only indulgence in the entertainment world, because it packs a lotta bang for my internet buck. I enjoy this column no end. Keep on keepin' on, Matt. Don't change a THANG!

Re: your pithy retort - Way to tell it, Matt! Like the first two posters said, I go to your section to catch up on what's going on with the TV and entertainment world... and you do such a great job at it, I don't need to see any other entertainment sites. If others don't like it, then nuts to them.
As for Sophia Bush dissing you - what was up with that? Did she see you chilling w/her ex or something?
