Salma Hayek and businessman Francois-Henri Pinault have called off their engagement, Hayek's rep confirms.
"We are sad to announce the engagement of Salma Hayek and François-Henri Pinault has been canceled," spokeswoman Cari Ross said in a statement. "There will be no further comment."
The couple, who announced their nuptial plans in March 2007, had a daughter together several months later. So far, no word has emerged on the cause of the split, or if the pair plans to stay together, despite a change in wedding plans. — Anna Dimond
