This is going to sound horrible... but doesn't Sally Field as Liam Neeson's wife just seem icky? Or am I just a product of Hollywood's double standard system?

Mary Tyler Moore wonderfully played Mary Todd in a terrific TV movie version of Gore Vidal's Lincoln with Sam Waterston as Abe. Sally and Liam just sounds wrong.

To me, Julie Harris is the definitive Mary Todd Lincoln, from the Broadway play The Last Of Mrs. Lincoln (the A&E production is out on DVD, by the way), but I can see Field as the loopy Mrs. L. Sounds like good casting.
