Rep Denies Diaz Made Criss Angel's Marriage Disappear

The lawyer for Criss Angel's estranged/"secret" wife, Joanna Sarantakos, claimed in court late last week that a romance between the "Mindfreak" and a Charlie's Angel was the last straw for the magic man's five-year marriage/15-year relationship. "We're naming Cameron Diaz as his lover," the New York Post quotes attorney Dominic Barbara as telling the court. "We will subpoena her as soon as she comes back to New York."

Though Angel went to great lengths last month (including in this chat with TV Guide) to quell speculation about comments he directed at Diaz following a Times Square escape illusion, his lawyer is not denying the adultery allegation.

On Monday, Diaz's rep issued a statement pointing out that the actress and Angel first met more than a year after he split from his wife, only went on four dates, and have no current relationship. Says the flack, "These are meaningless, attention-seeking attempts to unfairly and unnecessarily exploit Cameron's celebrity by trying to involve her in matters she has nothing to do with."

Cameron just can't stay out of the gutter-press, can she? If she had just gone after Penn Gillette instead, nothing would've hit the papers! (Unlike the blabbery Joanna, you KNOW Teller would've kept HIS mouth shut!)

I read that he kept his wife a secret...I wonder if Cameron even knew he was married. I'm sure there was probably a lot more going wrong with their marriage, and Cameron became the easiest target for blame.

Joanna's been on "Mindfreak" the series billed as "Criss' Girl" in previous seasons. I found her mostly annoying.

I had no clue he was married either. Wasn't he dating Minnie Driver last year? So wouldn't she be named in the suit as well?

But, Cameron's always liked grungy, creepy-looking guys. Remember her relationship of a couple of years with Jared Leto when he was at his skankiest? Or even Matt Dillon when he was slicking his hair back after "There's Something About Mary?"

I always thought Justin Timberlake was against the norm, for her.

I'm not blasting anyone for their choices, so I'm serious when I say... What about this guy is drool-worthy? To me, he just looks like he hasn't showered in a few weeks. He also reminds me of the dirty looking guy from Soul Asylum who sang 'Runaway Train.'

After reading Raven's interview I'm thinkin' she might be called as a witness for the wife! It does make you wonder what he told Cameron. I can't remember what he looks like! So I won't comment on his look. But I will agree that she likes the ones that at least look shower challenged.

Looks like Criss Angel's biggest illusion is making us all believe that he's single!

If he would flat out lie to Raven during that interview, I wouldn't put it past him to have lied to Cameron as well. I hope the lynch mob isn't already knocking on her door. (I never understood why people have so much more hatred for the "other woman" than the man who made a vow to his wife and then leaves her for someone else. The man is the homewrecker since he is willingly leaving his wife/family to be with the other woman.)
