The Real Housewives Hit Hotlanta!

First there was the O.C. Then it was the Big Apple. So what city is Bravo hitting up this time around for its Real Housewives franchise? Hotlanta!

Staying true to previous installments, The Real Housewives of Atlanta will follow the lives of five women from Atlanta's elite who truly live the glamorous life. The southern socialites include a charitable NBA wife, a single-and-looking mom and an outspoken entrepreneur. Between juggling their busy social calendars, home life and budding careers, these gals will give viewers an up close and personal look at their affluent — and often ridiculously dramatic — lives.

For those of you who can't wait until the new season kicks off, Bravo will air a preview special Wednesday, July 30 at 12 am/ET.

So, did Bravo make the right pick with Atlanta? Think there was a hotter zip code to run with, or will this southern hot spot be a good fit? The better question is, will it trump the first two installments? — Gina DiNunno

As much as I hate to admit it (never in a million years would I have thought I would have)I really liked the Original OC Housewives, they seemed "Real". I was hoping they would come back for another season. The New York bunch... well lets just say I did NOT care for them. They struck me as posers and wannabe's. Just bring back the Ladies of Orange County!

Maybe Bravo could spare us and start a Real Housewives channel. That way those of us who actually like so many of the other shows they have can avoid even having to see promos for the shows with these vapid, shallow women. Fell free to put that Date My Wife nonsense on that channel too.

The Real Housewives of OC, New York, Atlanta, Des Moines, Sheboygan, Tupelo, etc.

Well, Ramona's return as a Housewife has sealed the fate of that show for me.

She is unwatchable to me. I spend the whole time she is on the screen cringing with embarassment for her.

I'll stick with Orange County and Atlanta.
