Thursday's tallies, at a glance:

8 pm/ET
American Idol's second results show of the season delivered 25.91 million total viewers, a 2.7 mil increase from a week ago. (Have you had your say in this week's Idol Power Rankings? Vote here.) Survivor (12.47 mil) was down a hair.

9 pm
Boosted by Idol, Fox's Lyrics! hit a series high of 14.56 mil. A fantastically far-out episode of Lost was watched by a season-low 12.85 mil. Similarly, Celebrity Apprentice sank to a low of 7.62 mil.

10 pm
Trailing a Trace repeat, Eli Stone (7.46 mil) dipped a bit, while Lipstick Jungle matched last week's 5.75 mil.

Usually, the Desmond-centric eps are trippy, but enjoyable.

And I hope Eli Stone gets renewed. I'm seriously falling in love with that show.

I think LOST low-ish ratings can be explained by Tivo, don't you all? Because it seems like everyone's talking about it....

That's ridiculous. I think people need to change the channel quicker after Idol or not watch it at all(that would be my preference).]<img border=">

Folks must be recording Lost because there is no way that they are dropping this show if they've stuck with it for this long because it is BETTER than ever this year.

Also, please continue to watch Eli Stone, this show is so fun and the musical numbers & singing is 10 times better than you will see on Idol or Lyrics. I'm falling HARD for Johnny Lee Miller:)

You know, it makes me cranky that my TiVo numbers don't count when I watch something a few days later.
My family sits down to watch Lost (and Jericho) together on Sunday evenings because we are all home and there together. We are watching it late because it's special, not because we're indifferent.
These ratings systems really need to be updated to reflect post-1970 American society!

I'm curious how many people are watching the 8PM EST re-airings of the prior week's episode of Lost. I don't see any mention of those ratings here.
