Idol topped the hour with 19.57 million total viewers, a 19 percent drop from last week's results show. Survivor did 11.18 mil, down 1.6 mil. Earl (6.98 mil) slipped 510K), while 30 Rock returned to an audience of 5.72 mil (up 13 percent from a year ago, but down 250K from its last fresh outing).
9 pm
With 19.94 million viewers, CSI was the night's most-watched show. Trailing Lyrics, NBC placed third for the hour, with The Office reopening for business with its largest crowd since Sept. 27 (9.22 mil) and with Scrubs (6.57 mil) up six percent from its pre-strike average.
10 pm
Trace won with 14.6 mil (down 800 thou). ER (7.59 mil, down 16 percent from its last new eppy) bested Eli Stone (5.9 mil, up 680K).
