The season is winding down, folks. Monday's numbers:

8 pm/ET
DWTS was on top with 18.84 million total viewers, up 570K week-to-week. Bones scored a season high 10.15 mil, up 750 thou. CBS' Big Bang (7.36 mil, -500K) and Mother (7.92 mil, -a mil) each slipped. NBC's already-anemic Gladiators (four mil for the night) dropped 25 percent from its return. Gossip Girl delivered three mil, its second-largest audience ever and its best Monday in key demos.

9 pm
House gained 1.3 mil to hit a Monday high of 16.16 mil. CBS' Men (14.81 mil, +1.1 mil) and Rules (a season-high 12.25 mil, +1.5 mil) each enjoyed their best numbers since November. The Bachelorette averaged 8.75 mil over its two-hour premiere. One Tree Hill had its best Monday ever, drawing 3.15 mil.

10 pm
CSI: Miami surged 17 percent from last week, to 16.07 mil (its best audience since March 24).

great news for GG even tho i think they had much better episodes than last night'sfinale.

and about HIMYM, i wonder what fans of this show will come up with, i mean, some of them made fun about Spears' second episode not bringing the ratings as up as her first stint. And last night was the season finale! seasons finales have bigger ratings than regular episodes but the ratings for this one were nothing impressive at all

I'm so happy for Gossip Girl. Another GREAT episode! Can't wait for the second season to begin on September 1st!

How did Moonlight fare for it's "last" show? Probably much better than some of the show that were renewed for next season. CSI was the best one I've seen since Nick was buried alive and that's been awhile---it's getting boring. I like CSI New York and CSI Miami much better now. Bones was very, very good!

I just don't see the humor in Rules of Engagement. 12 mil?! Especially, IMHO, Big Bang and HIMYM are far better.

Bones was just shockingly sad. Zach?! C'mon.

"The Big Bang Theory" deserves to be the top-rated sitcom on TV--I'm so sorry to see it isn't getting better ratings (but being opposite "Dancing With The Stars" isn't helping). I firmly believe that anyone who catches just one episode would be hooked. I'm looking forward to season 2, and eventually getting season 1 on dvd.

Here's hoping that Horatio is really dead!

Oh, PleasePleasePlease let Horatio be Dead!!! Ratings for EVERY show would improve if he could be shot/stabbed/blown-up/thrown off a cliff/anything bloody and violent on each and every one!
Horatio Caine is the WORST character on TV...he is the Goober of crime dramas. And David Caruso is the Worst caricature of an actor since...well, I can't think of anyone worse! His very buffoonish appearance on the screen is cringe-inducing, and his monotone delivery is embarrassing to see and hear. If not for the other great actors (Adam...call me!)on the show, it would have been 'CS-Bye, Miami' a long time ago.

CSI Miami may have surged a notch or two - but the ratings for the final episode are a far cry from earlier seasons.
CSI Miami has been losing viewers since season 4 - and rightfully so.
The show gets worse with every passing season.
HoCaine dead? That would be too good to be true!
