Wayne Knight was funny and Jennifer Coolidge did disapoint, but ridding the world of dry ice did make me giggle a little (but the donuts flying out of her behind was a little much). Not a show I would watch week after week, but I am curious to see Jason Alexander next week.
As for HIMYM, I don't think they'll cancel it just yet. I have more faith in them renewing HIMYM than The Class.

I have to say that I was disappointed by TGYH. I missed the first half-hour of the first show, but still, I didn't find any of the first group to be outstanding during what I saw. Of the second episode, I thought that Mo'Nique and particularly Edie McClurg did well, and Kevin Nealon was quick, if not terribly funny. Richard Kind was just...well, to be kind, improv is not his thing. I compared it to watching "Whose Line" if everybody had Drew Carey's improv skills. I'll probably watch for Jason Alexander, but I don't know if the show will catch on, at least not at my house.

I too was disappointed in Jen Coolidge but thought Brian Cranston did deserve to win. I thought the show was good but not on the level fo Whose Line Is It Anyway? Still miss that show.

TGYH was pretty good, but I enjoyed the "warm-up" sketches more than the actual sketches they were being judged on. During one of those times, it was pretty much the only time, I thought that Jennifer Coolidge was funny was when they asked her why she went to all of these different countries she answered cuz she wanted to visit all the Starbucks.
