How did the "New Adventures of Old Christine" do?

One report says it did about 11.45 mil and was number one in its timeslot in demos. Good news.

I was actually surprised that HIMYM ratings were so high. I mean they got a 4.3 in 18-49 (Maybe some of those people belong the the Chuck audience). I can't remember the last time their demo was that high. And this wasn't even the Britney episode. Hopefully, next week it gets an even bigger audience. Either way, I am pretty sure they are going to bring it back for a fourth season.

@Leah - On HIMYM, I suspect that, with all the press, a lot of people tuned into this episode thinking it was the Spears one. Which makes me think next weeks episode is going to be pretty epic ratings wise.

But as far as good/bad news for the show I'm not sure this proves anything. It will be the few episodes after the Britney-Press that CBS uses to decide on renewal so I don't think we'll know where HIMYM stands for at least a couple weeks

It sucks no one's watching Canterbury's Law. I think there's so much more to delve into, and now I'm afraid I'm sucked into another show that's going to get canned early.

Thanks a lot, Fox! 8pm on a Monday...brilliant.

11.45 million for New Christine is correct.

Yay for New Christine and HIMYM.

Maybe we'll get a full order of New Christine this year!! Thank GOD more people are watching! Matt Roush must be thrilled!

......and maybe both shows can finally not be on the bubble.

Canterbury's Law and New Amsterdam are good shows. They just got stampeded by too many returning favorites on the other networks. I'll watch them until FOX kills them like all the other shows I grew to love that they killed.

Personally I didn't find the promo commercials for Canterbury's Law enticing or set it apart from any other lawyer show so I passed on it. I gave New Amsterdam a chance an it's ok, but if it gets canceled it's no big loss.

Good new for HIMYM, but still dreading the Britney episode next week.

I heard a rumor New Adventures of Old Christine isn't coming back. Is that possible?
Where could we write to beg?
