Ratings: Brrr! Six Degrees Gets Cold Reception
A few ratings shout-outs from Friday and Sunday:
• It is with a heavy heart that I report that the Friday return of ABC's Six Degrees was met by a fifth-place-worthy audience of just 4.6 million total viewers. That's compared to the 7.6 mil Degrees drew with its last fresh outing (on Thursday, Nov. 2) and the 5.63 mil a Wife Swap repeat reaped the previous Friday at 9 pm/ET.
• Despite all the Tara Conner hooplah, Friday's Miss USA Pageant (7.37 million) was down a quarter mil from last year's telecast. That said, nice gown, Miss Tennessee.
• On Sunday, Extreme Makever (12.04 million) topped the 8 o'clock hour, but CBS dominated the rest of the evening opposite Housewives/B&S repeats and despite being delayed by basketball.
• NBC's Grease finale said "Ooh, ooh, ooh" to 6.78 mil, a bump of 190K week-to-week, while a romantic-angst-filled episode of The Apprentice (6.75 mil) was down 480 thou.

Regarding the Miss USA drop.. is it DESPITE, or maybe.. BECAUSE of the Tara Conner hoopla?

I know they don't release them very often, but anything on how the last episode of Battlestar Galactica played out? Also, did Discovery issue a press release or anything about the ratings 'Planet Earth' received yesterday night?
Thanks for all the info, Matt

Was I the only one who was amused when Donald Trump was touting that he had the number 1 show on television on last nights episode of "The Apprentice"? He doesn't even have the number 1 show in the timeslot. Time to tell Donald that he's fired.

Nope sparky54 I laughed so hard at that comment, I was like not according to your ratings. Don't they keep falling week to week? Even the show last year was failing in the ratings so I don't even know why he was touting that he had the #1 show.

Nope, Donald Trump said HAD, not has. He was talking about the first season only apparently.
Also, I'm not surprised about Six Degrees. I totally forgot it was on until Saturday. That's what happens when stations move shows around and keep them off the air for months at a time.

I said the same thing Mannie_Annie, that his show was #1 back during the first season.
Anyway as regarding Six degrees, I totally forgot that it was on Friday night

I specifically came on here today to ask about Trump's trumped up comment about being #1, but I see others beat me to it. I could've sworn he said "I HAVE the number 1 show....", not "had". Yeah, I about fell off my chair when I heard him say it. I've only seen about half of the episodes this season...it's a big yawn these days with too many gimmicks and product pushing 'sponsors'.

Far be it from me to defend The Dickald, but since his show is mostly in the can before the season starts (isn't just the last show live?), he likely made that comment before his feud with Rosie, the Connor fiasco and the intensified focus on his every word. He's been saying all along (on talk shows and such) that his show is/was "the number one show", through the dust-up with Martha Stewart and even before that, when he was simply another pompous a$$ with delusions of grandeur!
That...didn't come off like I'm defending him too much...did it?

Too bad about Six Degrees, because the new episode was a vast improvement to the episodes that aired last fall.
I don't really think ABC promoted it that well.
