Hidden Palms (1.48 mil) was down a bleached blonde hair. Lead-out One Tree Hill wrapped its season with 2.5 mil, a 400K bump. Now, let's do the time warp!

SYTYCD averaged 8.88 mil over its two-hour run, a 1.3 mil drop from last Wednesday.

• The season premiere of Last Comic Standing had 6.89 million watching.

Thanks for the numbers, Matt. These are disappointing across the board..... I guess people are out living life instead of watching TV!

It's just a jump to the left, and then a step to the right....

Darn, I like Traveler. Although it's basically Prison Break Season 2 with younger, less beautiful, leads.

Hey, Matt, we'll get to see it all, at least! If it had premiered in the fall, we might have lost it after two episodes!

I do recommend Hidden Palms to anyone that enjoys The O.C. on acid!

I'm disappointed to read about Traveler's numbers--I think that it's great. I was intrigued by the show back when I first read about it, and each episode has left me with my jaw dangling. Add to that Steven Culp, William Sadler and Neal McDonough, not to mention pretty Matthew Bomer, and I'm hooked.

Then again, all the shows were down, so hopefully we'll get all 8 episodes.

Cable TV rules the summer. Thank God for FX, USA, and HBO.

How did Rescue Me do?
